Ron Paul Backers Will Fight to the End

ARLINGTON -- Don't tell Ron Paul and his supporters that the race for the GOP presidential nomination is over.

They put Republicans in Texas and beyond on notice Saturday that they plan to take their campaign all the way to the national convention in August in Tampa, Fla.

MEMO # 2 to the GOP and RNC...

"PRESIDENT PAUL OR NO ONE AT ALL"

Now SAY it with me GOP...

"PRESIDENT PAUL OR NO ONE AT ALL"

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
-Ron Paul

MEMO to the GOP and RNC: "You will not win without us...

...so go ahead and dismiss Ron Paul and us - his supporters.

Come November, if you have not nominated Ron Paul then you won't have our support and you cannot beat Obama."

I may not be speaking for EVERY Ron Paul supporter as I'm sure a percentage will jump ship and vote for Romney...

But I'm reasonably sure that the true Paul believers (like myself ) will be sufficient in number to sway the election.

Since we have nothing to lose, many of us will simply write in Dr. Paul all the way (If he neither gets the nomination or runs as an independent).

There is no second chance for us anymore.

Ditto to that! Screw the GOP, we owe them nothing...

and we will not be bullied into submission. We have the integrity and commitment - and the numbers! - and we stand by RP...all the way to Tampa.

all the way to Tampa

and beyond. Restore our freedom with Dr. Paul or lose your GOP forever.

Its a message that

once you get it your life changes irevocably. Its so much bigger than winning elections or even bigger than presidents. Freedom liberty.

Joe Barton used to be my Dallas rep. Shame on you for using the baseball pwychological hit peice. Time for people like yourself to move on.

Shame on your for giving Romney a pass

and focusing on Newt, who is also not in the race like Paul.

How about romney world order? - do you fear telling people that you don't have a problem with this.

Bad weather forecasted for New England April 24

Bad weather for Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Delaware could be a boost for Ron Paul, since Ron Paul supporters will not let bad weather keep them from the polls!

A little rain won't keep me from voting in NY for RP...

can't wait. To all my fellow NYers: see you at the polls!

I'll be at the polls

to vote for Ron Paul on Tuesday. The weather is irrelevant.

The proposal

I was at this convention, a couple of comments... Re: the proposal in the article that Blosser made, the delegate slate is drawn up by a committee of about 15 people then voted on (and I think usually pushed through) by the delegates. The proposal would have allowed each precinct to elect one delegate and one alternate, which would have amounted to about half the slate. The committee would have filled in the rest.

I could be wrong, but I think that if this had been adopted it may have cost us delegates. It was proposed because it's just more fair - letting precincts have a say rather than a centralized committee doing everything.

The convention was relatively uncontentious but there is a block of anti-Paul/anti-Blosser people who just summarily vote against anything he supports.

I tried to engage a few in conversation and was extremely frustrated - it seems like many use Levin as their sole source of information. Paul is an isolationist, anti-Israel, anti-Life, the economy would be destroyed without the Fed, etc, etc. I'm afraid I made no headway.

I did accomplish two things. One, I made the slate as an alternate. Two, after eight long hours of hearing about evil RP supporters from my fellow precinct delegates, I finally told them I was an RP supporter. They seemed quite surprised that a normal, 45 year old family man and veteran and not a radical, evil freak was a supporter. Hopefully that is an inroad, even if slight.

I believe the proposal was

I believe the proposal was *at least* 1 delegate and 1 alternate. This was not made clear. What was clear was that there was a large anti-Blosser group, and they would not listen to reason whenever he spoke. The grumblings were audible whenever he did. Hatred, ignorance, and fear take a more subtle but more disturbing form in reality than in fiction.

Great Article! Read it! Thank you!

I just want to say

Hey Republicans

We don't quit and we won't forget.
