I didn't post this to say lets all go follow Paul Harvey

But I can tell you millions of people grew up listening to this man. My dad never missed his show and us kids would be in the car usually with him when it was on. My post never said Paul Harvey was saying these things because he cared about all the listeners or if he was telling these things because he was in the know and was connected and wanted to seem smart to people when the plan was rolled out. Like someone said below it is the parts that are true that matter and the person saying those few truths is a man that older folks have grown to trust in. Paul Harvey saying a few truths is more valuable to these people than 1 million truths coming out of a Ron Paul supporter to them. Like Ron Paul says its about coalitions. Work on the things you agree on. In this case agreeing with Paul Harvey on a few truths could open a lot of hearts and minds to the cause of liberty. I think it is better for us to have people agree with us on the message of liberty rather than do they agree with us on who the messenger is.

Thank You

For posting this. Absolutely 100% hard-core Truth.

Sign me up for more of that "devil stuff"

Some of these Devilish concerns I think are steps in the right direction like "Do as you please" and dissolve the organized church. Our father who arent in washington would be an improvement from today as well.

I've seen some tea party wanna bes push a film called "The Agenda" which goes down this road. Its not a very tolerant position as it demonizes diversity, drugs and the separation of church and state so I'd be careful who you try to attract this type of bait.

I'm trying to understand what you're talking about but I honestly can't. Elaborate?

Paul Harvey is Square and lacks liberty.

If you really believe in liberty you cant demonize half of the things Paul Harvey condemns as act of societal destruction.

"Everything is the devil to you, Mama! Well, I like school, and I like football! And I'm gonna keep doin' them both because they make me feel good!"

Seriously, guys? Front page?

Seriously, guys? Front page? This is quite heavy on the neocon side.

I'm disappointed, site moderators.

I joined just to comment on the stupidity of this post.

There is truth to what you say.

Paul Harvey: The End of the Story
By Richard Corliss Sunday, Mar. 01, 2009
"The rosy sentimentalist was also a fretful conservative; he backed Joe McCarthy's search for imaginary communists in the State Department. But sometimes he just got fed up, reversing himself on the Vietnam War, telling Richard Nixon, "Mr. President, I love you, but you're wrong." In 2005 he suggested that the U.S. should have used nuclear weapons in both Iraq and Afghanistan; yet as casualties mounted in Iraq, he showed impatience, frustration, a hint that he felt betrayed by the policy he'd supported."

"A month ago, Harvey knocked Nancy Pelosi because she "rubber-stamped" the stimulus package. He called on Congress to do its job and not "sit on the economic skillet and let the pork sizzle." This was mild stuff compared with a joke Harvey passed along to his listeners in September 2007 about an imaginary meeting of David Petraeus and Chelsea Clinton. The President's daughter asks the general if he's afraid of anything, and Harvey gives this reply: "I am afraid of three things. I am afraid of Osama, and I am afraid of Obama, and, Ms. Clinton, I am afraid of yo' mama. Heh heh heh. Paul Harvey: Good day!"

neocon? how come? neocon use

neocon? how come? neocon use the religion as they would use anything to reach their goal, but the truth is STILL TRUTH and the truth will set us free.

end of the video was cut off...

...or was it?

Good Day??? (after all that, i'm not so sure)

No Way This Was 1964

Just no way...

I mean what he said is really what has happened and is happening to this day although I must confess some of it did have to happen. Interesting...

Paul Harvey is in elite company; ...

and that is correctly predicting the future.

Marx and Engels:
The Communist Manifesto (1848)

Aldous Huxley:
Brave New World (1932)

Eric Blair:
Animal Farm (1945)
Nineteen Eighty-Four (1949)

Ayn Rand:
Atlas Shrugged (1957)

It appears

that this is the 1996 version.

meh... some great things,

meh... some great things, some not so much.

I Never Missed Listening To Paul Harvey...1964..Just WOW!!

When i was a very man I listened to 2 personages that influenced me greately, one was Paul Harvey, the other Dr. Stewart McBirnie...These 2 fellas shaped my thinking politically well before Dr. Paul..

I shed a tear when i think how much we need them now..America sorely need more americans like them..

As a Christian, I goto tell

As a Christian, I goto tell you this is an incredibly powerful monologue. We are in desperate need of the evangelical vote. Anyway the creator of this video could add a pro Ron Paul ending. Something like paul isnt as fringe, understands this stuff, etc? Good find, btw

One world, under government, with power and money for the elite

That was surprising. It's

That was surprising. It's been a long time since I've heard Paul Harvey. Pretty interesting. He could turn a story about going down to the grocery into a spellbinding drama.

Two shorten the road.
