Gingrich may drop this week. Leaving only Paul and Romney.

"Newt Gingrich hinted he may withdraw from the presidential race if he has a poor showing in the Delaware primary Tuesday – a state where he has been actively campaigning for several weeks.

"I think we need to take a deep look at what we are doing," Gingrich told NBC News in an exclusive interview on Monday. "We will be in North Carolina tomorrow night and we will look and see what the results are."

He acknowledged that he would have to "reassess" his campaign depending on how he fares in Delaware, a winner-take-all state with 17 delegates at stake.

The final battle is in sight. We knew this day would come. Paul VS Romney. LETS GET IT ON!!!

"The former House speaker entered April with $4.3 million in total debt, up from $1.5 million the month before..."

Gingrich campaign takes on more debt

Updated: April 22, 2012 - 8:53 PM

Newt Gingrich, whose quixotic [the REAL quixotic one, as he has ZERO grassroots supporters, unless you're a lobotomized pliant sheeple RINO neoCON] presidential bid has been dogged by financial problems, racked up nearly $3 million in new debt for private jet flights, security consultants and travel costs in March, even as his campaign teetered on the edge of collapse, according to new disclosures.

The former House speaker entered April with $4.3 million in total debt, up from $1.5 million the month before, according to reports filed last week with the Federal Election Commission. He raised $1.6 million, spent $2 million and reported having $1.2 million cash on hand.

The Gingrich campaign's top debts for March include $1.1 million to Moby Dick Airways, a private air charter broker; $450,000 to Patriot Group, a Warrenton, Va.-based security firm; and $178,000 to Event Strategies of Alexandria, Va., for "event production."

If he weren't such a 'successful' corporatist and made 'money' off the backs of American Taxpayers, his personality would've certainly led him to being a deadbeat to his two other ex-wives, guaranteed.

The lunatic Pillsbury Doughboy simply has ZERO discipline.

Predictions in due Time...

"Let it not be said that no one cared, that no one objected once it's realized that our liberties and wealth are in jeopardy." - Dr. Ronald Ernest Paul

Moby Dick Airways??!

Is that for real or did they change their name when they contracted with Newt "The Whale" Gingrich?

My Thoughts : The Establishment May Assume It Would Give Romney

enough delegates to secure 1144 before the Tampa. The powers that be WILL NOT risk a "open or brokered" convention..Remember, in 1921 Warren G. Harding only had 6 delegates going into the convention and eventually won the nomination and the presidency..

I hope I'm not counting my

I hope I'm not counting my eggs before they hatch. Let's welcome all Gingrich supporters to Daily Paul.

Welcome everybody!!!!

Welcome everybody!!!!

I'll believe it when I see it.

I know I've been wrong about Gingrich before. I honestly thought they were going to ditch Romney and push Newt for POTUS. I'm elated that I was wrong about that. I will be even happier if Gingrich drops out of the race.
But I just can't imagine the insiders allowing this to devolve into a two man race. It will be so much harder to ignore Ron Paul in that case. I know they managed to do that in 2008 (after Huckabee dropped out) but this time around Ron Paul could pull down some big percentages in a primary, might even win one.
This would be fabulous news.

The Virtual Conspiracy

Me too

In my opinion, Gingrich is a narcissist of the worst kind. They'll have to drag him out of this race kicking and screaming. I'll openly welcome his supporters should that happen, but I believe it to be highly unlikely.

Newt will back Romney but, a lot of Newt's supporters won't.

A few MSM brainwashed people I know can't stand Romney. But, because of the MSM, they don't like Paul, either, and will vote for Gingrich.

However, should Newt drop out, they will either stay home or hold their noses and vote for Ron Paul, since they ABSOLUTELY cannot tolerate Romney OR Obama.

So, by all means, welcome and educate any Gingrich supporters who come here to check us out. AND BE NICE!

They were told Romney can beat Obama

There are a crowd of Newt supporters who are buying the idea that dragging this race is meaningless and they should get behind Romeny as he has the money because they believe or were told and believe Romney can beat Obama. I talk to somebody at work everyday and he has conservative ideas ... but is the vote for "the lesser of the two evil" crowd. Don't assume they will turn to Ron Paul as they believe libertarian cannot carry the vote. I just showed him "Hitler reacts to Ron Paul's rise in Polls v2 YouTube" and although it is hilarious as agreed, it does not change his view we should all get behind Romney. So we cannot be that optimistic Newt people are for us.

With all the things those 2

With all the things those 2 called each other I don't think they'll support Mitt.

As soon as Newt is done, we need a one on one debate with Romney

If the campaign can get just one nationally televised debate, the momentum will turn and critical mass will be reached. Ron will tear Romney apart in real debate forum. Mitt will try to avoid which will even add to the interest so when it finally happens he will get slayed by Dr. Paul intellectually in front of the entire nation.

If your state allows

If your state allows electioneering, I have a new edition of the "Honest Ron" Paul vs Romney Candidate Comparison Sheet handout for you to give to voters entering the polls.

I guess bailouts don't work!

Where is your billionaire's money now, Gingrich?

Ron Paul already has the youth vote.

If he is going to have ANY CHANCE whatsoever of capitalizing on Santorum's drop and Newt possibly getting out, the campaign MUST work on getting Ron Paul some speaking engagements where large numbers of middle age and older Republican will be to let Conservatives know they don't have to hold their nose in November.

Hello...? Paul Campaign people?

Why not just get a stadium?

At this point, they need to get a football stadium or an indoor arena. If a Rock Band can fill one of these, Dr. Paul could easily do it. How about getting a band to come and play for free, as there probably many who would do it.

That's called TV. I think his knowledge expressed on Squawk Box was very helpful.

here is my little prediction..but i hope im dead wrong..

the media & voting machines will give gingrich a "boost" & he will stay in & be in the media spotlight that the media refuses to give to Ron Paul, who obviously deserves it the most. This is what happened all the way from the beginning of the race. these other candidates who cant get a few hundred people to a rally for them, somehow surge (they get surged by the media) to take Ron Paul's press. They will all endorse Romney at the national convention-that was there sole purpose in this race to begin with...to try and get support away from Ron Paul - BIG FAIL. I hope my prediction is wrong.

Once Gingrich drops out

the Ron Paul campaign NEEDS to launch a 30 second ad telling the country that the media isn't telling them the truth and that the race isn't over and that he's still in the race to beat Mitt Romney... The ad needs to explain that Ron Paul HAS the ability to beat Romney and that all the polls show him having a better chance than Romney to beat Obama.

The video needs to be aired nationwide and very often.

Eventually, the media will have to address his ad and have him on the TV news to make themselves look good.

This ad will help get Ron a lot of TV coverage and make the media look like the fools they really are.

It's a win-win.

There is one tiny problem with this idea.....where's the MONEY!

TV ads are hugely expensive. Hugely.

The campaign MUST get one on one debates with Romney

in order to win this thing. Ron will slay him and it must be a mass MSM forum to accomplish this. Romney will fight this tooth and nail because he knows Ron will eviscerate him in a head to head intellectual environment. We cannot afford the ad campaign to accomplish even close to what one real nationalized television debate will.

There's a tenative debate in Texas May 24th.

It's tenative because Romney won't commit but sign the petition and an email will be sent to him. Only need aprox. 2100 more signatures out of 5000. Don't know what will happen if he still doesn't agree. Look bad at least. Ron and Newt apparently already agreed to the debate.

I'm predicting Newt will drop out of the race before then which will leave just Ron Paul and a relunctant Romney.

Yeah why dont we call romney out to a final debate?

..It would maybe at least stir up some media attention.

Never happen.

There's no way the campaign would throw Romney onto the suicidal RP logic alter.

Now it's about the Constitution and the fight to defend it.
