If you are reading this you have to donate $2 and then you must get one other person besides yourself to donate with you. The second person can donate any amount. It can be a family member, a friend, or someone you chat with on daily paul, or ron paul forums. ANYBODY! You can only donate $2, nothing more, nothing less. The reason for this is so no one feels intimidated to play. If you want to donate more than $2 then make a second transaction and don't post it here.
Anybody can do this. Anybody can afford this. I'll start.

$2 might be a bit low because of the credit card fees. The campaign won't see much. I'm trying to get attention and help for AutoPayFriday.com (a weekly donation every friday from now til the convention)... It aint easy. Looks like ill be trying to learn to edit together a video myself.

the fees are not that much
Depending on which company they use. At my small office we pay about 4 percent. So, sending 2 bucks still is sending 1.92 for whatever its worth.

It's usually a transaction fee plus a percentage. For $2 a $.25 - $.35 flat fee is pretty steep. If your company doesnt have to pay a transaction fee please let me know who you use for processing so i can check it out.

Basically you have to log in to your bank website and set up "Automatic Payments" to the campaign, once a week, til August 24th (the final Friday before the convention). With automatic payment your bank will send a paper check to the campaign for you.
If you go log in and look around on your bank website you're likely to see it.

I am truly dissapointed in you all that this post has slipped from the front page and NOBODY donated $2. I'm sorry guys but thats truly pathetic. Do you guys really support Ron Paul as much as you say you do that you cant spend $2? or is it that your to lazy to convince someone to donate?

There is a reason why some small mom and pop stores won't take credit cards for transactions under $5 or so. Becuase it simply is not worth it to them. Vendors have to pay a flat fee per transaction plus a percentage of the same. And ever since Obama "helped" consumers by not allowing banks to charge higher rates to higher risk customers (those who cost banks more money) the banks have had to make up the difference. And one of the ways they have done that is to raise the fees charged to vendors. This is why so many gas stations have started charging more for credit card transctions. Because with gas so high, and their profit margin already so low, they actually can LOSE money on a gas only transaction if it is paid with a credit card.

Do you think that we are going to throw away ALL of our principles and vote for Romney/Obama? You sir, are the one that is not "getting it".
