Let It Not Be Said That We Did Nothing

You guys might not want to hear

it, but I'm not spending another dime on the Paul campaign.

How can they continue to have these great turnouts and not use them to raise money or register voters?

I support the message, but not with my wallet anymore.

So don't ask me to contribute again until they get their **** together.

this message to oblivion only hurts the campaign. There are many supporters like me who are tired of the campaign not using their resources and have stopped donating. The campaign needs to hear it.

I'll say it again, I'm not donating another dime until the campaign gets smarter registering voters at rallies and asking for donations.

Here you go, for every down vote this message gets, I'll tell one friend not to waste their money on the Dr. Paul campaign.

It's not about begging people to pay

They have laptops set at the event so You can donate, buying T-shirts will do it too, You probably do not get the difference of people donating the money from their believes versus Romney gambling for a lunch with his wife for 5$ You see my point here? Donation has to come from believe not from asking like a bummer on the street. So please take this into consideration. Ron Paul is not type of person who waves the sings on every corner that he needs money. I personally close to 1500$ once I reach 2500 will use my wife ability to send more, so keep this in mind by posting this typo comments.

If you watch the posted video

of the line waiting to get in at Houston, you will observe people out there registering people to vote.

I agree

All of our biggest accomplishments have been a result of the grassroots and all of our biggest failures have been a result of the campaign. All of my donations go to revpac instead of the campaign.

Remember to follow the Slideshow

Pics in Slideshow as they start to arrive ---

Look now for images of the large arena and how Hillary Clinton didn't come close to filling the place in 2008.

Also, see video under "Houston" at bottom of post. Bill and Hill together couldn't fill that place.

Like so far..

Texans4Paul is reporting nothing...

where is the live stream?

Anyone have a link?

no live stream yet has been worth a damn

I've drawn the most traffic in one livestream I did and see no point in it...the bulk of the audience are do nothing lookers on, and I have no interest in being of service to them or their viewing needs.

Which is more important, that some comparatively few thousands of people already planning to vote for Ron Paul again watch a speech?

OR, that the same speech be available to the great bulk of the voters out there, almost ALL the remaining population, who as yet know nothing about Ron Paul?

Which is the smartest way to obtain votes? To serve an existing audience here at Daily Paul which consistently, energetically, repeatedly and endlessly debates absolute nonsense like whether or not Ron Paul should select Napalitano as running mate OR reaching new voters one by one and in the thousands to start and then go from there...?

Which is electioneering and which is utter bs?

What does that sort of livestream accomplish?

Which voters not yet committed see it?

How does it inform anyone of anything useful?

I'm not interested in any audience of watchers.

I seek an audience of doers.

That's the only audience which matters, anywhere, for anything.

Being involved with WinLiberty means we do not officially or actually endorse/oppose any candidates. WinLiberty is engaged in trying to show the public what the public doesn't get on TV---ie, Ron Paul speaking.

How does running a livestream that the public never knows about accomplish ANYTHING of ANY value to ANY true supporter of Ron Paul?

A supporter of Ron Paul, a true one, reaches new voters, consistently and constantly...watching another speech doesn't do that.

I'm mystified at how many times one person will sit and watch the same speech and feel "new" or "refreshed" or whatever else it is they feel AND also do absolutely NOTHING in response.

That is the livestream nonsense I see going on.

Who the heck is interested in servicing that market?

And for what purpose?

Anyone can watch...and many do.

WinLiberty may not support/oppose. This project by WinLiberty is to throw out the speeches so that the public more easily can see the speeches which Mainstream Media won't show.

Anyone easily can share the speeches, limited only by their contacts and ingenuity.

There's simply no point in reaching the choir and singing the same old song again and again.

Besides, nothing, and I mean absolutely NOTHING Ron Paul is saying is in any way shape or form new.

His campaign IS the first time this message has been heard on a national stage, and I get that some people who only very recently discovered liberty and did so thru Ron Paul also feel a debt of gratitude to Ron Paul.

But endlessly watching the same speech, constantly harping for it to be livestreamed so it can be watched again and never shared, that I don't get.

That's no politics known to man, that's just like watching reruns of Gilligan's Island and wondering if we ever are going to get those poor people off the island.

Ron Paul friendly news: http://www.newsetal.com/

I'm glad it's going to be indoors. The wind is awful today.

But it would't stop me or anyone else. The only thing that kept me from College Station was an emergency trip to the hospital with my mom. She turned out okay, but it was not a happy day for me.

Check out this post! Awesome pic too!

Just thought I would share this awesome pic from facebook.

Please like the page too it was started by two combat veterans fighting for liberty!

Here is their website too!

For Liberty!

Kudos to them for their effort but I HATE that picture

of Ron. I do not think it is a good likeliness at all. Yuk!

~Your perception becomes your reality~

but I HATE that picture

its been around for days and I also dislike it

(I cant hate anything )

that photo makes him look like
Mr. Heywoodie Pettibone Twittybuth

holier than any thous or y'alls

and uber critical pose

its just not appealing
and is NOT his persona at all

Sorry to those who do like it but face angle and body language are important, very important.

If I were the only person required to name a president and IF I voted on my appreciation of looks...

Halle Berry and many others would come in far, far ahead of Ron Paul.

I'd much prefer a Ron Paul presidency to, say, the administration of Natalie Portman; I'm just saying...

I support Ron Paul not for his looks, but because he best represents my beliefs.

My comment to Phipott the shill bot

If they did allow comments on your article it would go something like this "Lies, Damn Lies, Filthy Lies and DAMN FILTHY lies"

What a bunch of Malarky. Aren't you EMBARRASED?

"Jim Henson, head the Texas Politics Project at UT and a pollster for the Tribune, says that based on his polling data, Paul does not have momentum heading into the summer."

Does that include the latest Rasmussen Daily tracking poll showing RON PAUL beating OBAMA doing better than ROMNEY? This is not having momentum?

you're pathetic. Why don't you do some goddamn research before quoting liars and shills

they do allow comments

They allow comments.

I made one and so did another.

Everyone should read the article...those inspired to comment are welcome :)

pictures from austin

Those are some of the best pictures I've seen of him.

If I were Mrs. Paul, I'd want some prints.

Want a good laugh?

In the Slideshow I've got photos of Hofheinz arena, the Houston venue for Ron Paul's speech today.

Capacity 8,479.

Also in the Slideshow there's a 2008 photo of when Bill and Hill tried to fill the place.

There's also video under Houston, in the cities section, from that same Hillary Clinton Rally.

ONLY ONE GUY can fill this sucker!

Not to be a downer, but...

Not to be a downer, but... The slide show and wording made me think Ron Paul filled the arena...but as I got to photos of the crowd and the 3-4k number it seems kind of anticlimactic.

The SlideShow began many hours before the speech

I kept the original wording.

My point was that the Clintons did not fill it...(either)...I didn't expect them to...Houston isn't Austin...which has more active supporters per capita, or at least did last time around.

That Ron Paul's crowd in Houston was at least comparable to what Clinton got there in 2008 says alot...Ron Paul hasn't raised nearly in 2 elections what Clinton did in that one race...he hasn't got nearly the media focus that anything Clinton always brings and Ron Paul probably drew more last night in Houston than did Clinton in 2008.

The phenomenon of the Ron Paul crowds is very real as is the fact that Mainstream Media simply ignores it, and no one is calling them on it.

We're trying to call them on it by going around them, directly to their audience members and asking "hey, what's up with that?"

If social media is any indication

of what turn out will be, then Houston should have slightly higher numbers than Austin.

Between FB shares, likes, sharethis.com shares, and tweets, on the campaign website event list, Houston is a bit higher.

I feel confident that we will beat 6,000 attendees. I will be at the sign wave around 4 p.m. CAN'T WAIT!!!

Edit - I had a bit of a pick-me-up waiting for me at work this a.m. I checked my work voicemail, and had a message about the rally. Made me smile.

A few pics from Austin...

Share & enjoy!
