Outrageous!

I googled Ron Paul and CISPA and this huge article came up (with an unflattering photo) that gives the false impression that Ron Paul is for the bill. At the end of the article in tiny letters, they say they "regret" a previous error.
Don't you think their retraction needs to be as big as their headline? Please let them hear from you. Don't worry about giving it too many hits, it's already at the top. This bill is obviously hugely unpopular and they are trying to associate Ron Paul with it. I'm just so tired of all the manipulation...

Vote me down if you must, but if Ron Paul really supported CERTAIN AMENDMENTS (key: I'm not saying he supports CISPA as OP implies the article writer did) then they aren't doing anything wrong by reporting it.
It looks like if the amendments to CISPA are added, it would completely remove the reason for the outrage the bill has caused. Specifically the reason being privacy concerns.
If Paul supported the amendments, then I support them too. As usual, because of his corrupt fellow-politicians the bill will be pushed through, but Dr. Paul is smart enough to find a work-a-round to completely handicap the bill making it useless for the purposes they wish to use it for.
The only misleading bit in the article is the title, IMO.

Yes, that's what we thought might happen-
Most people have limited time and will just look at the misleading headline, and draw the wrong conclusion. Also, have you noticed the uncharacteristic photographs the media likes to use of Ron Paul? He has such a nice disposition, but they try to use photos that make him look grouchy. But, dear Betty, your letter was magnificent! I wish I could write like that. You did what you could, you did it well, and that is all that is required of any of us.
