Romney and RNC break GOP rule #11?

Rule #11a states:

(a) The Republican National Committee shall not, without the prior written and filed approval of all members of the Republican National Committee from

the state involved, contribute money or in-kind aid to any candidate for any public or party office except the nominee of the Republican Party or a candidate who is unopposed in the Republican primary after the filing deadline for that office. In those states where state law establishes a nonpartisan primary in which Republican candidates could participate, but in which the general election may not include a Republican candidate, the candidate endorsed by a convention held under the authority of the state Republican Party shall be recognized by the Republican National Committee as the Republican nominee

This from the Romney Site:

“Governor Romney’s strong performance and delegate count at this stage of the primary process has made him our party’s presumptive nominee,” said RNC Chairman Reince Priebus. “In order to maximize our efforts I have directed my staff at the RNC to open lines of communication with the Romney campaign.”

According to the party, Romney campaign adviser Brian Jones will oversee the coordination between the two operations, which ultimately will synchronize their ground game and digital operations.

They don't care.

They have abandoned all pretenses of being honest or fair.
They are blatantly out in the open now about their corruption.

The Republican Party is finished as a political organization with any credibility. It's almost as if they don't even care if they exist after this election, which makes me think that there might not be any more elections after this one.

but,and this is only my personal opinion, I believe the Robme campain is only a smokescreen to make the re-"election" of Obummer seem fair. Ron Paul MUST win the nomination or our country is over.

I LOVE posts like this. You think you found some smoking gun that Ron Paul's official campaign just missed! Like you are SMARTER than Ron Paul's campaign, when in fact, you are not smarter than a common tree slug.

Ron Paul's campaign knows that rule. They know it FAR better than you do. And they also know it is a non issue.

Why Not?

They seem to think they are untouchable. I am not putting anything past them at this point. Not to mention, they barely know their own rules, they just assume no one watching knows the rules, and they didn't, until now.

Sounds interesting.

Without losing focus on what matters, this could be interesting to check out.

Has anyone sent this to the campaign? This is just one of many rules violations. Florida is supposed to be proportional delegate allocation because their primary was moved up (prior to April 1).

Is there a rule being broken

Is there a rule being broken in regards to Florida? Please post a source. Florida took cutting their delegate number in half as a penalty for going winner take all if that is what you are talking about. Now if they get 100% of their delegates (i.e. no penalty) that would be a big no-no!

It was reported on TV that they will be "sharing" funds as well

didn't sound right to me either - I will see if I can find documentation on the money part and edit this post.
