A chart we found on Reddit.com today shows that most products we buy are controlled by just a few companies. It's called "The Illusion of Choice."
Ever wonder why you can't get a Coke at Taco Bell? It's because Yum! Brands was created as a spin-off of Pepsi--and has a lifetime contract with the soda-maker.
Unilever produces everything from Dove soap to Klondike bars. Nestle has a big stake in L'Oreal, which features everything from cosmetics to Diesel designer jeans.
Despite a wide array of brands to choose from, it all comes back to the big guys.

Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom must. like men, undergo the fatigue of supporting it.-Thomas Paine
The R3volution requires action, not observation!!!!
I don't buy...
Any of that crap. Well, except for the cereal and butt wipes.
Choices are still there, use them. We do. ITS YOUR LIFE
When it comes to food and everyday household products, there are alternatives.
Changing your diet to making most of your food from scratch from ingredients is safer, healthier, and if you are smart cheaper.
Fresh organic non GMO fruits and vegetables. Free range chickens, seafood, grassfed beef here and there, and smaller companies that make organic broths, spices and specialty products can be had in supermarkets that see the growing market for these things and provided them.
Look for these markets in your area and shop there, think this way about your food. This eliminates most of the poison, industrial, subsidized products in the middle isles that are made by these companies.
Other green household products and sundries made by small and mid sized companies are also available. Take an extra minute and buy those instead, they are less toxic and usually much better quality.
Stop eating out at corporate chain restaurants. Find the smaller local places with better food and atmosphere. Stop eating fast food entirely ("only because I was in a hurry!")/. Stop rationalizing poisoning yourself, for ANY reason.
Stop running into the 7-11 - nothing in there is "food". Stop eating at mall food courts, where most of that food is traced back to these vulture corporations.
It's your life. MAKE these choices
THEN PERHAPS
Maybe we should do what Devvy Kidd does...BUY THINGS MADE IN THE USA WITHOUT ANY MEGA CORPORATION INFLUENCE.

I would replace Coca-cola with Con-Agra.
BUMP for exposure....
Keep in mind that this is just the "food and cosmetics" end of things, yet alone everything else out there.
Good one for people to see. Thanks for the info.
