Thanks for the signs
And thank you all for staying focused on the prize. We can't afford any breaks although the first two states have been a bit depressing. March on! We have an election to win. Take no prisoners. You guys all get a gold star for the day.
By the way, we had 40 plus banners, 2.5 x 6, go up in SW Florida yesterday. In this ultra-conservative town, that's a risk, but sometimes you just have to say "what the heck."
On to sign waving on Saturday and some door knocking this week.

Got mine posted-could use more
I had about a dozen recycled signs that I stencilled "Ron Paul in 2008" and I got them posted last night.
I turned the paper ones inside out and the corrugated plastic ones I painted white before stencilling.
THE BEST machine for this kind of work is a sidehack. The bike can park anywhere and there's room in the sidecar for a load of signs. I would pull up to a spot, hop off the bike, place the sign and be on my way again in about a minute.

I got my signs up and they are staying up. One sign walked about 30 feet down the road, but I rescued it and will put it back up tomorrow.
I was so excited when I drove my signs today to be sure they were still up and found to my surprise three other big signs keeping mine company on the feeder of 290 and down Jones Road in Houston. I was so happy. Really big nice signs that took some carpentry to get up. Very impressive.
Can't wait to see a billboard. Hope we have one coming.

4 huge banners over the freeway near downtown LA
and 4 smaller campaign signs on empty lot fences.

My wife and I placed about 15 signs around town last night. Our group actually had put up quite a few handmade signs a couple of weeks ago, then lo and behold...someone else who is NOT in our meetup group went around putting lots of the official signs up! We have no idea who it is!
By the way, I wonder if any of the other meetup groups had this idea(too late to implement now);
The signs we put out were all re-pained old political sings that we snatched from around town on Nov. 8th; 24 hours after the election, the candidates are supposed to go around and pick up their signs. Many do not. We collected 300+ signs, all to be transformed into Ron Paul signs. We've repainted a little more than half so far. The ones that are like plastic bags (we flip 'em inside out and stencil them) are quite durable.

Got my 8 signs well placed in Northwest Houston. I'll drive them daily to be sure they haven't fallen. So far all have been up over 24 hours and one has been up about two weeks. Got one in my window. Have two bumper stickers on my car, front and back. Have a car magnetic one for rallies. I put my signs on private property where the grass doesn't get cut as near the street as possible, no buildings on these lots, only little driveway or parking lots that are abandoned. No problems with yard people coming along and snatching. So far, so good. Didn't have to ask permission from anyone. These properties are investment properties obviously and no one really cares. I doubt the owners ever look at them.

only one lasted the day so I lost 4 out of the 5 i put up, kinda sad they where nice homemade signs. but there is one up in a good place hopefully it makes it till friday because its near the movies.

We were putting up the 8th and were stopped and questioned by the police. We were attempting to put the last sign near a freeway but were technically on Indian Reservation. Ooops! I have a few more signs but decided to wait to know exactly whats legal and what isn't.

17 signs placed in and around Milford, Connecticut. Placed signs on every New York bound on-ramp on I-95 for the commuters to see as they get on the highway.

300 vertical pole signs

Anyone know
how to make my rally signs weatherproof. Is there like a spray or something. I have close to 50 of those.
Lacquer
If you go to Lowe's or Home Depot and pick up a spray lacquer hold the can about 12" away and spray back and forth it won't run and be sure the lacquer is dry before moving. Usually dries in about 5 minutes. Not poly but lacquer.

Marion County Florida
Chris has done a great job organizing our Sign Bomb Night. Many showed up, talked, grabbed some literature and signs and hit the roads. My team put up signs in North Marion County Florida and pictures are at this Meet Up link:

Then today, we went out and checked some of those signs, we also stopped into businesses and gave out literature and were able to place some Ron Paul signs with the business for them to place the sign on their business.
We also passed out literature today all material was provided to us free from our local Meet Up group so let me suggest you find your local Meet Up group and get active with them.
Now we are planning to stand on street corners and wave Ron Paul signs during heavy traffic times. Go Ron Paul.

Put a nice sign on the bridge by Buffalo Park. A little harder to see than I anticipated, but it will do. Placed some home-made signs on and near the curve going from route 66 to Milton. Also put some on east side bus stop benches and light posts.
South Phoenix...
... Baseline road is covered, as well as US60 and Power road. I sure hope they hold up.

Tempe, Chandler, Mesa AZ signs posted
Part of the Phoenix Meetup, those of us in the East Valley met separately and hung banners on overpasses and posted signs all along the freeway and major intersections. I estimate 50-60 signs plus the banners. Headed out again tonight for more. Thanks.
