CISPA Has Passed in the House: Help Formulate a List of Those Who Voted for it

We need to form a list of those who voted for it to make sure these congressmen do not get reelected. It's time to take their honeypot away.

Done with Roscoe Bartlett (R-MD 6th)

First he voted for NDAA, now CISPA. Screw him and his re-election effort. I will work for the Democrat in my district now. Why are republicans such jerks about privacy and liberty? Scared of the little terrorist? Hardly, power hungry leeches is the better description.

Like I said before

in a comment that got down voted. Do you still think these people give a crap what you say? They do not!!!! They have not probably as long as I have been alive and I am over 30... The time has come we must run for offices vote in others who are Ron Paul like and Take the country back from the ground up...

Things will have to get worse

Things will have to get worse before they get better and I don't think voting people in will do much.

They made it WORSE

This is not good. Hopefully this won't get through the Senate.

Hopefully Rand and Mike Lee will stop it or fillibuster it.

At the very least I expect they'll force through more amendments.

Seems like Justin Amash

is kicking ass again, we need to keep him on our list of people to help get reelected. Justin Amash is proving himself to be a Ron Paul type.

Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom must. like men, undergo the fatigue of supporting it.-Thomas Paine

The R3volution requires action, not observation!!!!

Justin always was a Ron Paul type from the beginning. He is

absolutely the real deal. Ron Paul strongly endorsed him in 2010.

I don't understand why Dr.

I don't understand why Dr. Paul abstained from voting. Was he there for the vote? It's not like he was the last guy to vote and knew the results. Makes no sense to me.

Also looks like mostly republitards pushing this legislation.

“Let it not be said that no one cared, that no one objected once it’s realized that our liberties and wealth are in jeopardy.”
― Ron Paul

I guarantee he would have made the trip back

If it was a close vote. It's not like these votes are a surprise. The leadership works most of the YEAs and NAYs out before the bill comes to the floor. Ron knows how this works.

He was not there - he's in Texas.

He had rallies in El Paso yesterday, Austin today and Houston tomorrow - check out the DP home page!

Funny how a good % of the

Funny how a good % of the nay CISPA voters are democrats, and just another reason to not like Michelle Bachmann. I'm from MN and she's my congress woman from CD6.. I've had to listen to her speak at every convention. I really wish there was someone like Kurt Bills running against her. Sadly, she's pretty much the figurehead of the republicans in MN.

Beg everybody's pardon, .....

but don't they take an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution?
This is clearly the OPPOSITE of upholding and defending the Constitution? Maybe it's just me who's nuts?

here is the list of those who voted for it

http://www.govtrack.us/congress/votes/112-2012/h192

Please tell these folks what you think about them

I went to my congressman's site and wrote on his site and then posted all SC congressman's names on my site who voted for it and then another post aimed specifically at my congressman urging my friends and neighbors to work with me to remove him from office for not listening to his constituents.

Make it a firestorm folks or it will pass the Senate and you should know already that there is no way that the President is actually going to veto it - no matter what he says. We have heard that before. They all want these sites shut down... get your friends and co-workers calling and writing and complaining

slm

He Might

He Might Veto it this time around, just in time for the Elections, To make it "Look" like he is all about Freedom, and will give a big speech on it, high in emotion and low in facts. Then after being re-ellected, thats if he goes up against No_Chance-Romney, there will be a bigger and better SOPA PIPA CISPA, which will then pass.

Traders to the Bill of Rights!!!

I wonder if, we did a comparison of the politicans that voted for the NDAA AND CISPA, we would find that many of them voted for both bills. The values of the new Tea Party Congressmans have been infiltrated and compromised. They nolonger represent the citizens. They represent big government and business's who will be given immunity for trampling on our civil liberties.

not usually a stickler for spelling but...

that should be... Traitors to the ....

Peace

With all due respect, I will no longer be a voting prostitute for Constitution rejecting harlots.

.......

Oh, they're trading it alright!

Maybe better to formulate

Maybe better to formulate list of those who OPPOSED it? Perhaps time to start rewarding for doing what's right.

Trust in God, but tie your camel tight.

"Socialism needs two legs on which to stand; a right and a left. While appearing to be in complete opposition to one another, they both march in the same direction." - Paul Proctor

Reward those who opposed it?

Ron Paul did not vote.

Being on the campaign trail

Being on the campaign trail would have something to do with that. I don't believe for one minute that he was not aware of the tide that passed this thing and if it had been close you bet he would have been there.

I don't blame him ...

unless it's a close vote, it's just about as much a waste of time and money as beating a dead horse on the track.

Why bother?

I sent at least two emails asking him to vote no, at least all the democrats from Wisconsin voted no.

This representative is on the progressives hit list, I look forward to voting this fake teaparty candidate out of office. And most likely my fake teaparty senator also, since he's just another corporate shill.

CRAP

Welcome to the fascist state.
i know im voting my reps OUT!!!

Well...

Louis Guitierrez (IL 4th congressional) was a cosponsor so I m sure he voted for it. Unfortunately he will be re-elected since he's been running pretty much unopposed (or without serious opposition) for many years now.

Debbie's picture

Believe it or not, he voted "NO". Alcee Hastings was also a co-

sponsor who voted "NO". Maybe they decided to listen to their constituents and they want to get re-elected?
