The dem-rep split is largely due to the Lieberman Bill

Not based on their desire to protect the American people. Lieberman floated a similar cybersecurity bill in the Senate which has strong support from the Dems. It is a far better bill, but still bad in many ways. McCain also has a bill that has virtually no chance, apparently. CISPA appears to be dead, but we have to keep an eye on S.2015, the Lieberman Bill.

With liberty and justice for all...who can afford it.

Vote 'em out!

Both Bachmann and Kline belong to Minnesota, unfortunately...

Another term for preventive war is aggressive war- starting wars because someday somebody might do something to us. That is not part of the American tradition.
-Ron Paul

Arrest Warrant

We have proof that 248 terrorists have committed acts against the constitution of the republic. I call to have them arrested for TREASON!!!

Mine, a Democrat, Voted No

My congressman, who has been in office for decades, and often votes the wrong way on issues, sometimes does something right.

He has an office nearby, and sometimes when I'm in the area, I stop and borrow a piece of paper from a staffer and leave him a note about ending the federal drug war, or healthcare freedom.

I think I'll stop by and say, "thanks."

I figure they add up the feedback and in-person visits get more points than any other communication. (Even if he's thousands of miles away, in D.C., they keep track.)

What do you think? http://consequeries.com/

In the converse, my congressman

who usually votes very well, made a mistake and voted FOR this CISPA bill.

He seemed to think that it wasn't intrusive, even after I wrote him and asked him to oppose the bill.

Hooray

Great to know my dirt bag congressman voted for this. Not surprising though, since he also voted for SOPA and NDAA. We need to vote that jerk out of office.

Did I hear?

Did I hear Obama might do something useful with his term and veto this nonsense?

Obama doing something useful?

Well you can wish in one hand and crap in the other. Which one fills up first? If Obama had half a brain he would have vetoed the NDAA.

"Dogbreath"

Wisconsin

I am cautiously optomistic that Ron Johnson (R) will vote against it. The reason I say that is that he and Sensenbrenner (who actually voted NAY) tend to be in lock-step. Fellow Wisconsinites, call him up and make sure he knows what we want.

My Dem representative voted nay

Repugs from my state voted yay.

This party has got. to. go.

Since this bill seems to be mostly partisan..

does anyone else think it may die in the senate?

What are you fightin' for?
Caught in the middle?

I'll sit here and hope, man.

Hensarling

My traitor voted "Aye" and I wrote him and asked him not to. Maybe he is representing someone besides me?

Bachmann for. Pelosi against.

What the hell?

WTF ?

So let me get this strait, The Republicans just killed the 4th amendment 3 to 1 over the Dems? Makes you wonder who the hell these people are that call themselves conservatives. This pisses me off till not end....

"If ever time should come, when vain and aspiring men shall possess the highest seats in Government, our country will stand in need of its experienced patriots to prevent its ruin."

that's it. That's all she wrote.

Sullivan CD#1 voted Aye

He has a primary contest this time around. I will vote for Bridenstine in the primary. If Sullivan prevails then I will vote for the Democrat. The Democrats were mirror image votes on the CISPA vote today.

Utah

Chaffetz did....traitor.

Allan West voted for it

Pelosi did not

Pelosi did not because

She didn't want to give John Denise the opportity to defeat her and make an issue out of it..

Looks like paul Ryan

Voted for it
