Ron Paul was right again. This time the subject is the 8th Amendment

An article on Yahoo! came out about a Senate probe into the effectiveness of torture. Just to briefly summarize, torture doesn't work.

Here is a video on the Campaign for Liberty youtube channel from 3 years ago in which Ron Paul discusses this subject.

Once again, Ron Paul is WAY ahead of the curve.

One thing I have concluded is that the phrase, "enhanced interrogation technique" is just a euphemism for torture. It is not something that neo-conservatives like to hear. I am reminded of the late and great George Carlin on this subject:

I miss Carlin's No BS Comedy

You can rest assure, he'd endorse Dr. Paul's run for presidency.

"Insert wise comment here."

no, he wouldn't have endorsed

no, he wouldn't have endorsed ron.

"One of the more pretentious political self-descriptions is "Libertarian." People think it puts them above the fray. It sounds fashionable, and to the uninitiated, faintly dangerous. Actually, it's just one more bullshit political philosophy." - George Carlin

he was just another hollywood leftist piece of turd.

Never forget:

To disagree, one doesn't have to be disagreeable.

I think Carlin

was just an eternal pessimist. But that's the way he was supposed to be. Otherwise, he wouldn't have been as funny as he was.
