GOP hack and anti-Ron Paul blogger Orrin Johnson is a stupid, silly turdSubmitted by jay0718 on Fri, 04/27/2012 - 12:23
There's a Nevada blogger by the name of Orrin Johnson who's gotten some traction lately because he thinks he has smoking gun evidence that the Ron Paul campaign is using lies and coercion in its delegate strategy leading to the convention in Tampa. His evidence? A recent letter Nevada Ron Paul Campaign Director Carl Bunce sent to supporters suggesting this:
“I fear they will continue to call you until you finally submit some type of answer to them. I suggest that you say you support Mitt Romney on Question 1 and that you are attending the State Convention on Question 2. These answers will give them a false sense of strength in the process moving forward.”
Huh? So what.
Of course, this pales in comparison to the overwhelming factual evidence proving voter fraud favorable to Romney in numerous states, but Johnson claims to have debunked these "ridiculous and baseless allegations." And how does Johnson debunk the allegations? Not by challenging the evidence put forth, but by claiming the accusation itself makes the candidate seem like a poor loser. He further states this drivel:
"Voter fraud is an incredibly serious charge with incredibly serious consequences to society if shown to be true. And that means that unless you have solid, real proof that such fraud took place, you should quite frankly shut the hell up before you’re responsible for some real damage to the very fabric of our society."
If only Woodward and Bernstein could have read Johnson's wisdom, we could have been saved from having to hear about Watergate. After all, the allegations they made had "incredibly serious consequences."
Paul supporters should take comfort in Johnson's desperate and paranoid ramblings because it's a palpable sign the campaign is building unstoppable momentum.
Fasten your seat belt Orrin, it's going to be a bumpy ride.
