While we have a great chance of winning the nomination still, I plan to write Dr. Paul's name in if he doesn't get the nomination.
One thing is absolutely certain... Romney and the GOP will NEVER get my vote!

Lately, we have seen many Romney operatives on this site and on the internet trying to sabotage our movement by attempting to guilt or pressure you into voting for the disgrace that is Romney/Ryan.
I think most of us in here know that Romney and Obama are essentially the same candidate with Marginal differences between them. The unfortunate reality is that one of these two horrible people is going to win the Presidency.
While there has been much debate on this site and throughout the Liberty movement about whether to write in Ron Paul or vote Gary Johnson, I think we can all agree that a Romney win would be a devastating blow for Freedom and Liberty in this country. Romney is an inherently evil and vile person who only lusts for war and control of every aspect of your life.
The simple fact is while I can never advocate voting for Obama, as I think you should vote for who you believe best represents you as an American, and I believe he does not represent me, I believe we should all stand together against Romney. At the very minimum at least 4 years of Obama with a GOP controlled congress, would be better than 8 potential years of Romney completely unchecked and prepared to reign terror and fascism in this country.
So whether you chose to vote for Johnson or write in Ron Paul, just make sure you tell everyone you know of the threat that a Romney win poses to this country and stay involved. The next 4 years are going to be difficult but if we continue to work together we vote in Liberty Movement candidates at the state and local level and have a chance at a Liberty Movement President in 4 2016.
So I ask all of you will you fold to the pressure of the Neocon/Romney machine or will you stand with the rest of the patriots in this movement against the American terror that is Romney/Ryan.

Romney/Ryan and the GOP have proven by their actions this entire election and especially at the RNC, that they neither want nor deserve our support or our Vote.
Ryan and Romney are a disgrace and an embarrassment to this country and everything it was built on.
I pledge to not only never vote or support Romney, but I pledge to convince everyone I know that a vote for Romney is a vote for Corruption, Fraud, hatred of our constitution and personal freedoms.
Frankly a vote for Romney is a slap in the face of everyone in this movement who worked their butts off to become a delegate only to get shafted! It's a slap in the face of the Vets for Ron Paul and anyone who served this country to protect our freedoms! It's a slap in the face of everyone who phone banked or donated to the movement, and you should be embarrassed and ashamed of yourself if you even contemplate voting for the disgrace that is Romney/Ryan.
I will encourage everyone I know to either write in Ron Paul or Vote for any third party.
You have a choice this November... The President of the United States is supposed to be a representation of you as an American and someone you can respect as a leader and should reflect your views. Anyone who votes or supports Romney is saying that their personal views are essentially lies, corruption, violence and the antithesis of everything this country was built on.
This is the most upvoted thread in the history of the DP and I am proud to stand with every patriot in here who has made this pledge.

has already decided to back Romney. Romney's choice of Paul Ryan convinced him. I told him I would "go down fighting" rather than accept either Obama or Romney as our next president and I mean that.

... the only thing that could convince me to support Romney is if he has a political Saul-to-Paul moment, in which he's struck by a heavenly being, told by that heavenly being to repent of his sins, and Romney has a complete and total change of heart, complete with becoming totally honest and repentant for any and all past doings, regardless of the consequences. Furthermore, he'll study the Constitution, refuse to play games with the kingmakers of our day, extend a genuine hand of friendship to Ron Paul, maybe even nominate Ron Paul as the real Republican nominee and the Judge as his running mate, and maybe even go so far as to step down completely and throw his entire monetary might behind Ron Paul and the cause of liberty.

I will not support Willard or any GOP candidate
for any office from local to national. I will get involved with the local GOP to get it turned to a more libertarian (RP) view.
There are Liberty Candidates running in the GOP
I agree with your viewpoint, but please realize that many of us are already running as Liberty republicans in state and local offices. I think you should run for office yourself at the first opportunity so you can help us change the GOP and kick out the neocon influence. Meanwhile why not consider some of us Liberty folks already running against difficult odds.
I'll never vote for Romney.
I voted for Paul in the primary in 2008, but made the stupid error of voting for Obama in November since I couldn't stomach seeing Insane McCain win. I'm not going to do that again, though. I'll vote Gary Johnson if I cannot write in Dr. Paul. I'm planning to write in Paul if there is the space on the ballot for a write-in vote. I'm going to vote how I believe; not like last time when I held my nose and voted Obama.

I've been an avid Liberty Movement and Ron Paul supporter since 2006.
While I believe that Obama and Romney are basically the same, I do believe a Romney victory would essentially destroy our Movement as Romney hates us and everything the Liberty Movement stands for. I also believe Romney is much more malicious and unscrupulous than Obama and would spare no expense or resource to crush our Movement and anything that has to do with Liberty and Personal Freedom.
Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.

So, my pledge is to Ron Paul, and in doing what Ron Paul asked ALL of us to do, join the GOP, become a credentialed delegate [which means getting a committee seat, which means being FORCED to sign a loyalty oath to the GOP/ by-laws, that states removal is not supporting the GOP nominee, and in CA, the Sec of State has posted Romney as THE nominee (Richard Gilbert where are you, as CA is YOUR state?)], loyalty to the Constitution, and signing a 470 form, I have done many things I would have NEVER done, like join the GOP, if I had not done what Ron Paul asked ALL of us to do.

There is another RP GOP seated on my committee, and it's awesome. Ther're very good with constitution and I'm good with Roberts Rules of Order, so together, we give a one-two punch, reviewing issues, voting NO on the ones that are not constitutionally sound, and reminding the other members they took an oath to the US Constitution, so WE ARE WINNING! And though Romney-Ryan are not my choice, I do appreciate how they have adopted parts of Ron Paul's message to the GOP platform, so we will hold them to that.
The shame is so many here do not get the BIG picture. I think it's because they are under the influence of MSM and unable to think for themselves, or stand apart. Or maybe they don't read their own posts, maybe think the posts about tptb are kidding?

In November, the Republicans will regret the day they didn't nominate Ron Paul,who COULD beat Obama.
