An amazing idea

Ron Paul should announce that if Romney won't do two one-on-one debates then he's running 3rd party - accepting the LP nod and/or AmericanSelect.

THAT would make the PTB squirm, ensure the debates happen, and give Ron/Rand complete justification for running 3rd party if they don't happen in the eyes of those who would otherwise see Ron/Rand as a traitor to the Republicans.

Further, Ron should insist on choosing the moderators - Judge Nap, Stossel, Ben Swann.

I think it's a no-lose move, and Romney and the Repugs could only blame themselves if he rejects it and goes on to lose to Obama/Paul.

The establishment wants a third party run!Ron can and will win the GOP nomination.Go get them delegates and do not stop!!!

Ron Paul 2012!

Again, "Nobody But Paul" needs to come from us, not RP.

Ron shouldn't ever talk about how his supporters won't support the eventual nominee. The "No One But Paul" theme must come from elsewhere.

It may be that the establishment GOP is looking to lose the election. In that case they won't worry about losing the RP vote.

That's why the "No One But Paul" message needs to be absorbed by voters. They'll need serious exposure to the idea that Romney can't win without Paul supporters and Independents, but if Republicans support [Paul] as nominee, he brings the rest to the table. He could win in a landslide.

So I hope RevPAC will create and run some hard-hitting ads on this theme.

3rd party concurrent

that would be the move.

now we want the debate and may leverage not 3rd party for it, that is tactical

but to get neither debates nor be on ballot-- where is the sense

I don't think you do, but if

I don't think you do, but if you have a brain in your head, then have this sink in..

Ron Paul does NOT WANT to ask for a debate. Because he knows it would HURT him because he agreed to the debate schedule. He also knows that the media will not carry or, or cover it since by the earliest possible time it could be held, Romney would have over 900 delegates...800 of them bound while Ron Paul has fewer than 100, and fewer than 50 bound.

Every time you think you want demands debate, punch yourself in your testicles until you come to your senses. I say your testicles because I think it is a body part that you won't need for the rest of your life life.

What about you, douche bag?

What about you, douche bag? You like testicles don't you? On your chin.

Bad idea

Ron Paul doesn't play political games like this.

Ron Paul doesn't need justification to run third party. He already knows there's almost no justification to run third party, which is why he hasn't done so for 24 years.

Helping Liberty candidates, crowdfunding campaigns, and entrepreneurs get the publicity they deserve.

"Evil is powerless if the good are unafraid." - Ronald Reagan

"no justification"?

The justification is, "I've got a message. It's a message with millions supporting it. It's liberty. The political establishment has been shutting out this message. It has been disenfranchising millions. This message deserves a forum, and I go about to see that it gets one, one way or another."

It is a great idea except for

It is a great idea except for one thing, what if they call his bluff? Then Paul has to immediately leave the GOP, and leave all of his possibly 1145+ delegates with no one to vote for in Tampa? The media would NEVER publicize Pauls demand, they would only publicize that he is going 3rd party. The media would make Paul look like a sore loser. It would not work and would only serve to thwart all our efforts up to this point.

So tell me...what IS life

So tell me...what IS life like on your planet? The planet where Ron Paul has 1145 delegates?

Go away!!!

Ron will only have 1145+ delegates...

...at the convention if Romney is found with a boy.

Instead, Ron will have 200-500 delegates, and probably a bunch more 'stealth' delegates. That's fine, and it will make for quite a show in Tampa. And those delegates will remain free to put on that show, whether Ron runs independent or not.

If you are not counting

If you are not counting stealth, he won't have anywhere NEAR 500. More like 175 at best. WITH stealth he MIGHT have 500...but they will be bound to vote for others.
