explaining the Louisiana Caucuses locations very briefly.
There are 6 Congressional districts, and the delegetes winners from each district will be totalled. Ron Paul is slate 7 in each of the six districts. Now, so voters don't have to drive so far, there are 30 actual voting locations in Louisiana. When people are talking about winning a site, they are talking so far about winning at that particular voting location one of the 30. So let me take up the space here and show people not from Louisiana the 30 sites, so you can add them up with us. But from where I voted today, I can't wait for the offical totals.

Districts are comprised of a few Parishes
We are getting the results in, first, by each voting place, then, Parish wide, then district.

via email,
"Hello my fellow fighter for freedom:
This morning the polling place for our caucus was jam-packed crowded. I'm told that the southern part of the state was active as well.
I feel very positive for Mr Paul in Louisiana!!!!!"
Let's hope she and her team helped win it!!!

Reporting text recieved from delegate in St. Tammany:
"So far we've won 9 out of 10 sites. Our slate here had the most votes!! Counting individuals now"

I don't have any official numbers yet but...
The paul campain in the room told me we have it won EASILY in Beauregard and Vernon Parish. Maybe those superbrochures paid off after all lol
He won the biggect caucus poll in East Baton Rouge.
That was Jefferson Baptist Church location.
Yes, please post results here, including the acutal numbers.
I understand that the count takes place at each polling location and those numbers then get reported to another location. We've already seen that farce play out. Keep 'em honest! Post actual numbers here.
The winner is announced today,
the numbers will be up later.
Anybody know how to stop
getting double posts?
I would suggest...
... First, copy all of the text in the comment window (so you can paste it back in later if what I am about to tell you goes wrong). Then, hit the "Save" button only once, and even if nothing seems to be happening, hit the back arrow to go back to the page you are posting to. You probably will see your post listed.
If your post is not listed, then hit the forward arrow to go back to the comment creation page. If, when you go forward, the comment window is blank, then paste your text (that you copied earlier) back in, and try hitting "Save" once more. (If you cannot go forward from the thread page, then just create another comment and paste your text in.)
Hope this helps.

Yes I can help with that
It used to happen to me all the time. It turns out it was my fault. I was being impatient and clicking the "Save" button more than once. Two clicks = two posts, Three clicks = Three posts,Etc. It does hang up once in awhile but try to click just once,It will complete saving sooner or later,Lol.

Thank you, Andrew & Truepatriot.
Guess the keyboard is too sensitive. I hadn't realized that I was hitting the save button twice. Thank you, both for helping me out with that. It has been bothering me for a while.
You are absolutely welcome
Please have a great day!

That is great news about those two parishes, Sandra!
Would you please post your source, and more detailed information if you have it? Thank you!

Request to results posters:
When posting your numbers, please include a link to your source. (If you are the source, due to being a eyewitness as the ballots were counted, for example, then please clarify that in your post.) Having a link will help us to avoid confusion and keep unfounded rumors from spreading. Thank you.
