Breaking - Westfield, MA:
Today at the 1st Congressional District Republican Presidential Caucus, which encompasses most of Western Massachusetts, and much of the Massachusetts/Connecticut border, was held at the City of Westfield's North Middle School.
The Caucus proved to be a success for the “Ronald Reagan Unity Liberty Slate” who swept most of the delegate positions for the disrtrict, 5-1 over Governor Romney's approved “Official Delegate Slate”. The Ronald Reagan Unity Liberty Slate won the delegate election by a land slide this Saturday, while many of the approved Romney slate candidates went home empty handed, several of whom hold elected office in the City of Holyoke.
The elected delegates now have the opportunity to head to the Presidential Convention in Florida to ultimately choose the GOP nominee for this years Presidential race against the incumbent, President Barack Hussein Obama.
