"The Iowa Faith & Freedom Coalition"

That is clearly a contradiction in terms. How can you be free in your thoughts if you have an apriori belief.

Steve Scheffler is President of The Iowa Faith & Freedom Coalition and Jack Hunter relates about him on his website.

Steve Scheffler states: "“I helped usher in the conservative movement 25 years ago … that was very, very unpopular. I and others were accused that we were going to destroy the party. But guess what? It didn’t happen,” Scheffler said. Now, 25 years later, there’s another wave of new Republicans, he said, who should be welcomed."

That could be true, all though I doubt it. But still the name "The Iowa Faith & Freedom Coalition" is an ugly falshood. Faith requests from you that you RESTRAIN FROM THE FREEDOM TO DOUBT all that you have been told and that is written down. Doubting is the soil and water in which Freedom has its roots and takes its nourishments from, without it there is no change for Freedom to grow. Better still, Freedom it self springs forth from Doubt. First there has be be Doubt for Freedom to be born. Then how can you connect the two - Faith and Freedom - in one name. Makes me throwup... really

`Faith and Freedom Coalition`

`And remember, a half-truth is far more dangerous then a complete lie, because the complete lie is going to be discovered sooner or later - just a little intelligence is needed. But the half-truth is very dangerous, even intelligent people, very intelligent people may not be able to find that it is untrue. That is the danger of half-truths, they look like truths and they are not. They can keep you deceived for centuries.`

Question: Are my data and analysis correct?

I posted the following on my Alternates thread:

"This past Saturday, Liberty supporters in Louisisana elected, according to current estimates, 111 (out of 150) pro-Paul State delegates and 61 (out of 72) pro-Paul State alternates!"

* * *

"Delegate outlook: Louisiana is entitled to 46 National Convention delegates. Three delegates will be party leaders, and 5 more will be selected by the "Executive Committee"; all will likely support Gov. Romney. The remaining 38 delegates will be chosen at the June 02 State Convention: 20 At Large (10 to Santorum, 5 to Romney, and 5 unpledged, per the results of the March 24 Primary) and 3 per Conressional District in breakout sessions (18 total, all unpledged):

http://www.thegreenpapers.com/P12/LA-R

Based on the State delegate election results on Saturday, it appears reasonable to project that Dr. Paul will obtain 12-15 out of the 18 CD National delegates and will name all 20 of the At Large National delegates (although 10 will be bound to Santorum and 5 to Romney). We can reasonably hope, therefore, that, if our delegates and alternates faithfully go to State, Paul will end up with 17-20 (out of 46) "first ballot" Louisiana delegates in Tampa. If Santorum's delegates become unbound at Tampa, then Dr. Paul will control 27-30 "first ballot" delegates -- a clear majority!"

Does anyone have reason to believe that I have it wrong? Thank you.

Freedom and Independence

As a math and physics tutor it is my job to put myself out of a job. To empower each student to learn from the material on their own and to have the confidence to make it happen is my goal. Watching we the people make this happen is a beautiful thing. I cannot offer any advice to those of you who are doing your part to make this happen but I can say that I am so proud to be a part of you. You can do it! That's the spirit! Trudge on my dear fellows. I am with you all the way. Put those ideas into action!

"Part of you"

Hey - why don't you go ahead and become a part of US?

In any case, don't forget to vote Ron Paul!

Freedom is my Worship Word!

Congrats all!

Let's go R3VOLution 2012!

Fox reported Dr. Paul's win

today and showed a brief clip. Then when they went to break, his new ad for Texas came on.

When You Go to State

When you guys go to your state convention you should have signs saying, REMEMBER NORTH DAKOTA. Referring to Remember the Alamo. The Comney campaign walked all over the Ron Paul campaign in North Dakota with their high paid attorney's and the Goldman Sachs attorney's. Don't let that happen again.

Joined the Liberty Movement in Anchorage, Alaska, 1977. Ron Paul supporter since 1983.
In Liberty from the Pacific Northwest.

Also, Dimitri Kesari was

Also, Dimitri Kesari was blamed for mistakes regarding this by people at North Dakota state convention.

If he shows up at Louisiana state convention, there needs to be synergy of whatever local political knowledge Louisiana people have, with what he brings to the table.

Was he also up in Alaska as well?

I don't know, I'm not from

I don't know, I'm not from Alaska.

In Alaska thread, one poster HeathieAnCap seemed to imply he was there.

Pls check with him/her for clarification. All state convention people need to better understand Dimitri's role & specifically how to utilize him best.

Fine, mistakes were made in North Dakota & Missouri CD. But we need to move on from that. In sports, if early in the game a defender makes mistake, coach/entire team can't spend whole game crying about it. Good news about North Dakota was that it was THE FIRST state convention in the nation. And the number of delegates in question was not as high.

All grassroots/delegates at state conventions need to figure out how to best work with Dimitri, because it appears the campaign seems to keep sending him. Doug Wead thinks very highly of him - regardless of the mess in North Dakota.

EARLY Voting

Early voting for the primary has already begun in WV. Try to get folks to vote early at their courthouse so they don't forget or have no excuses. People are working and tend to forget Tuesdays.

If you are not OUTRAGED, you're not paying attention!

So great! When's the next moneybomb?

I get chills thinking that the Paul campaign strategy is WORKING... (that's chills in a very GOOD way!)

Massive stuff man!

West Virginia - got RP 2 more votes

West Virginia's primary is a week from Tuesday on May 8. RP has exactly 19 candidates for delegate at-large and exactly 3 in each of the congressional districts. (There are 28 total national delegates up for grabs here. Actually 31, but 3 go to state party insiders).

Anyway, Romney has twice that and Gingrich delegate candidates are over the limit in some districts. On top of that there are between thirty and forty other well known Republicans trying to be sneaky running as uncommitted. What this means is that ONLY Ron Paul's votes will not be split/watered down. And, I just got two more members of my family to vote straight RP in our Primary.

If you are not OUTRAGED, you're not paying attention!

I will be handing out

I will be handing out delegate lists to people in WV. let's get some delegates!

i have a total of

23 family members that are going to vote for Ron Paul and the delegates ,with their friends and family also ,we should at least win the delegate battle here in the hillbilly state!!!!!

Wow!

This is freaking awesome news! If this trend continues Paul may very well win. HELL YEAH! fight the good fight never give up never surrender

None of the Baton Rouge news channels never mentioned a caucus

was even being held. WAFB, WBRZ... nothing. We now know that we can use a media blackout to our advantage, they thought they could control it , but this will bite them in the arse.

Crazy

they could not take the time to mention Ron Paul. I got an email breaking news alert from WAFB about jury selection for lil boosie. Just goes to show how messed up this state and country is. Its why I dont watch the news.
