the movement continues in nc. we are forming an eastern region of the republican liberty caucus. already we have many freedom loving people coming together. it is very exciting. please contact me for further information on how to get involved here or to start a chapter in your area.

It should be rather obvious....

by now that Romney put his cash into controlling all the beauty contests nation wide. He has no real organization to speak of and even less then no grass roots support what so ever. Even the TV commentators have admitted it.
I have a feeling that if the votes were honestly counted we would actually have the "correct" number of delegates right now.
The only thing left for the GOP and Romney to do is to bring in an army of lawyers to scream bloody murder.

Media propaganda is a powerful force

Used against the masses. If only all states were caucuses, with informed delegates, things would be the opposite.

The results show that many North Carolina voters watch too much TV.

Ron Paul got 41 percent of the vote in Virginia....

So these numbers from NC make no sense. These states are next to one another and southerners hate Romney.

Ignore the media's lies and propaganda.

Gingrich

No Preference

If you add up all the "anti-Romney" votes you get 34%

i.e. after being crowned as the nominee by the media and the RNC Romney STILL can't get over 66% of the vote. McCain won the NC primary in '08 with 74%.

Just a thought...

Virginia has Liberty University and has a history for more conservative types as Republicans.
South Carolina has Bob Jones and other Christian Universities that also under gird a bit more of a conservative influence.
North Carolina has no such conservatives institutions and while the John Locke Foundation and the Civitas are very active in NC, there are a very large group of neo-con influenced Republicans. Even the former groups love, or seem to love their dear liberal Senator Richard Burr and don't forget about the former Sen. Elizabeth Dole! North Carolina's GOP has probably the most liberal/neo-con/ influence I have personally experienced.
With that said, Ron Paul has nearly tripled his votes from 2008 and there is still 30% of the votes not yet reported.
Romney is getting 10% less of the total than McCain got in 2008.

at our last county ex comm mtg the chair started by saying we couldn't endorse any candidates as a group before the primary (due to disagreement over local race shenanigans) but ended the mtg saying since Gingrich was out we should all now get behind Romney. Naturally we reminded them about Paul and our small group was individually cornered after the mtg to get on board with Romney and that mittens would look after Paul (as if...) there is a lot of go along to get along attitude in the gop here but not a lot of hands-on participation. we are forming an eastern branch of the republican liberty caucus to help provide support for the voices longing to be heard.

does anyone else wonder why "geniuses" are still voting for Santorum and Grinch in the numbers they did?

2008 NC results for Paul 37,260 7.20%. Currently he has 45,126 10.8% with 29.3% reporting. Remember it's a delegate battle. Don't drag your feet on that. Some reports say Indiana STILL has delegate slots open. If you really care, call your local county or republican office and see if there's any slots open for your convention on JUNE 3RD!!!!

2 votes in Franklin county for RP. The wife and I went to support the cause. I got there at 4:30 and there were ALOT of stickers left in their books. Appears alot of people don't vote

just got back from polls, I managed to get about 4 votes for Paul.
I asked, "do you know who you're voting for for president?"
You'd be surprised how many people decide the moment they're in front of the button! :O

Some things I got with my ear to the ground

- People are being led to believe that beating Obama will be a breeze, Obama's screwed after this economy is their thought.

- Their candidate isn't in the race anymore, so they're drudging through voting for Romney because that's what the "conservative" MSM has been pushing them to do.

- A third party candidate can't win (guys, srsly!?)

Of course I retorted to all these statements, but you can tell who wants to hear from you and who doesn't.

Dr.Paul is dead right, this is an intellectual revolution, because these people will not vote for their own freedom when their minds are being led to slaughter by Rush, FOX, etc.

The intellectual revolution must take hold before the political revolution reflects it. We've got to take down the media you guys, enemy #1 up there with the FED, for REAL.

just got done voting in harrnet county for dr ron paul, i was number 650 something that voted in my district, ethnics are about even 50% black's 50% whites few hispanics. i wore my to ron paul tee shirt witch cought the eyes of a few people in line. the person i was behind turned to me and said "i voted for him in 08, i just hope this year we start to see real change in the party and government." i thought it was so awesome that some random guys that appeared drunk was voting for ron paul. its a small world after all.
thank god you dont have to take a breathalyzer test!

Just Returned Home From Voting...

in Franklin County. I was voter 641. Turnout has been steady for this primary. I brought 3 RP voters with me. My 2 in-laws in Indiana voted RP today too:)

voted in Dist. 2 this morning. Turn out was steady. I think it's the first time I've ever had to wait in line to vote in a primary. Pretty sure it's the marriage amendment that's got everyone coming out to vote.

Just voted for Ron Paul in District 8!

spent the day so far at the polls

My husband and I voted early (on Friday)and then spent the day at the polls today. We held large Ron Paul signs and handed out the flyers that I found in the link above. There were many voters already commited to RP and we convinced many others to vote for him as well. We made sure to tell them about his delegate wins and his crowds of thousands that the media will not show. My guess would be that 50% or more of the people we talked to went in and voted for Ron Paul. I have had a smile on my face all day long!!! I have an unrelated meeting I have to go to, so my husband dropped me off and is on his way back to the polls to continute educating those who come to vote. Thanks to I3ladedragon for posting the info above and for the link to the flyer. It has been a perfect tool.
