"West Virginia early voting has started. The Ron Paul campaign has 19 delegates to vote for and you can vote for 19. Romney has 23 and you can vote for 19. I voted with my wife and son for Ron Paul. I have some more people I want to get in to vote."

If you see Romney getting

If you see Romney getting delegates in proportion to his popular vote there is fraud.

Romney should have no more than about 40% of the delegates just based on the fact that he ran too many candidates. There is no way that all those Romney supporters picked the exact same delegates when there were so many to choose from.

Paul supporters all voted for the exact same delegate candidates - our vote was 100% effective - Romney no better than 40% effective - same with Gingrich.

There needs to be better

Organization and communication!

You two need to stop

chatting up old posts..If you want to converse, do it privately.

Huh?

Huh?

What about alternates, Shazad?

Were they also selected yesterday? Thanks.

STOP

chatting up old posts..All the ways humans can now communicate, directly to one another, you two need to stop disrespecting peoples posts by turning their thread into a personal discussion between the two of you..

De criminalize Liberty!

Our comments were quite relevant

All of our comments were quite relevant to the topic of the thread. It's about the West Virginia results. Do you have any comments about those results?

Apparently you don't understand what i said..

You two are chatting up OLD posts..If you two are gonna chat back and forth, it should probably NOT be on a post about results that are almost two weeks old.

p.s..you would be the last person here I would ever discuss any type of results with. Apparently, you have one or two people here that not only pay you attention, but actually encourage you, but I assure you, there are plenty more that know who you are, what you're here for, and what your intentions are.

De criminalize Liberty!

I think we just have different defintions of "old"

You were responding to comments I made on 5/9 about a primary that was held on 5/8. I think that's a reasonable timeframe for discussion of those results.

I don't know

I would assume it's the delegates with the next highest totals of the vote. In that case, it would be 15 Romney, 5 Gingrich, 3 Paul, 4 Uncommitted, and 1 Santorum. The top Paul supporters would be the 8th at-large alternate. 5 of the top 6 at-large alternates (assuming that this is how they're picked) and 8 of the 9 CD alternates were Romney supporters.

Can anyone confirm that we picked up 3 alternates...

...in West Virginia yesterday?

A Constitutional, Christian conservative who voted for Ron and stands with Rand

Here are the names I see

Not that this is confirmation, but maybe this will help someone else confirm...

I think that you might have the 8th alternate (Laura Hayes-Shifflett), 10th alternate (Jessica Hayes), and 17th alternate (Darrell Black) for the at-large delegate slots.

Thank you, Shazad, and congratulations...

... Your candidate had a strong showing yesterday.

Thanks

Thanks

West Virginia delegates.

Does anyone know if we have a good organization in WV? 19 unbound delegates up for grabs.

Done!

I took the lady friend I take care of to vote this afternoon and we both checked the box for Ron Paul and every delegate that had Ron Paul's name next to it. 19 in all. I think there might have been another page to vote for 3 others so we both voted for every Ron Paul delegate as possible.

Morgan County, West Virginia

IMPORTANT!

I just got a job a couple days ago and am starting my first day today! I start in about an hour, so I won't be able to update this thread the rest of the day! Good luck everyone and keep up the good work!!! :)

If your in WV

Don't forget to vote. We need every vote we can get. Romney has set this up for us, we just need the turn out. If you don't live in WV, but have friends and family get them to the polls. "Montani Semper Liberi"

Just Voted

WV Co. precinct 32....you get two ballots for either republican or dems. The republican ballots had 1 sheet for pres, senate, gov, etc....the other had delegates with the candidate they support next to their name in (). You could vote for 3. Ron had 3 out of about 20 names. The cool thing was the Paul delegates were the first 3 names at the top of the ballot. T
They then fed my ballots into a machine which probably just shreds it and digitally records whatever it wants, but hey I try.

Looks like WV is using more than one type of ballot

We had a touch screen with an internal receipt in a viewing window.
It sounds like you used the punch-card type which my district has used.
I thought it would be consistent throughout the state.
I voted for Ron Paul and 22 Ron Paul delegates. Declared preference was listed.

what about

The 19 at large delegates for Paul? Did you select them as well? Sounds like you only voted for the three congressional district delegates.

Is West Virginia an Open or Closed primary state?

Thank you!

A Constitutional, Christian conservative who voted for Ron and stands with Rand

mountaincat's picture

WV is semi-closed

Republican, democrat and mountain party can vote only on that party ballot. All others may choose a party ballot, so no one is shut out of the primary.

closed http://www.dailypaul.c

INDEPENDENTS CAN

vote either party, but you have to ask for a party ballot ,very important!!!!!!

What are the poll hours tomorrow?

Thank you!
