Co-Chairman of Obama's Budget Deficit Commision Warns Members of the CFR That the Government Will Collapse

Erskine Bowles, a true Southern gentleman and co-chairman of President Barack Obama’s erstwhile budget-deficit commission, came to New York City from his home in North Carolina the other night to talk sense about the nation’s perilous fiscal condition.

“I think today we face the most predictable economic crisis in history,” he told an audience on April 24 at the Council on Foreign Relations -- an audience that might actually be able to help do something about the problem. “Fortunately, I think it’s also the most avoidable. I think it’s clear, if you do simple arithmetic, that the fiscal path that the nation is on is simply not sustainable.”

Ron Paul 2012. Any question?

The creation, production and fair exchange of values is the business of evolving consciousness, love and life.--Craig Johnson

This is where I agree with

This is where I agree with Paul about what needs to be done; deep cuts to the budget on the order of a trillion or more, primarily out of your bloated defense budget.

If you're going to be policeman of the world, the only sustainable means is to incorporate affected regions under the aegis of the United States, will full membership and representation as states, so the costs are spread over everyone who "benefits", otherwise you shouldn't bother. You either run an empire the right way or you don't run an empire.

Ah he's just paranoid...

if things start to get bad we can just print more money.

"I observed...that the more public provisions were made for the poor, the less they provided for themselves, and of course became poorer. And, on the contrary, the less was done for them, the more they did for themselves, and became richer.” B. Franklin
