Attention Ron Paul Supporters

I've been thinking about ways the super involved younger Paul supporters can really make a difference and improve Paul's support among the elderly and women. Parents will often times do things for their kids if the kids ask them to promise to do something. Ask your parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents, even brothers or sisters to register Republican and vote for Ron Paul. Discuss why Ron must become president to not only end the wars, but fix the economy FOR YOUR FUTURE!

Discuss.

discussion is cool

in theory, but in reality when a "kid" attempts to convince a parent of something it usually only works to temper the parents opposition :)

I say promise good grades or something important to the parent in exchange for their vote, much more effective than deprogramming the already fully indoctrinated media zombie.

I noticed

I noticed it's very hard to convince people who know nothing about Paul what Paul is all about. I still come across people that say he is insane and far removed from reality because he isn't "mainstream" lol. I think the best way to convince people is to show videos of Paul giving speeches and other videos that encompass what he is all about. I remember finding out about Ron Paul from the Daily Show with Jon Stewart and began to get curious about why the media didn't cover him. I actually thought he was crazy because I hadn't heard much about him and what I did hear was negative. Well, I watched a few speeches he gave and a few debate performances and fell in love with his ideas of liberty. It's strange, if you hear tiny pieces of his platform like "end the fed", it does sound crazy, but when you hear the whole package of the idea of freedom and liberty, you realize that it all fits together. I actually learned what the FED does, and keeping it around is a crazier idea than getting rid of it.

I tried talking to my parents. My Dad is a very close-minded Neo-Con. My Step-mom is more willing to discuss.
