Bright should win handily

Bright is being challenged by former Senator John Hawkins, an establishment Republican.

Hawkins was charged with rape back in 1989, but the case was dismissed due to what was at the time perceived as intimidation by his politically connected family. The police who conducted the investigation were outraged over the case being dropped, having said rape occurred due to the extensive bruising on the girl and her extreme trauma. Libertarian blogger and Ron Paul supporter Will Folks at fitsnews.com has posted updates regarding the release of documents pertaining to the case, which many thought were previously destroyed. Horrifying stuff if I've ever seen it.

Please help spread the word and help Senator Bright!

I attended a gop function where both spoke. Here is Lee Bright's speech:

I left before Hawkins spoke but was told that it was basically a "bash Bright" speech. The neo-c's appeared to be fawning over the Hawkins dude. Must've been double the fluoride in the water that night. :|

He came out for Dr.Paul

so I can at least support him with a few dollars. If they're sticking their necks out for him, they're sticking it out, like they should, for the rest of us.

How soon we forget

If his endorsement was good for us then, it should be now. I don't know where the proof that he is being railroaded is, but I do know that he stood next to Paul when few others would.

Not trying to persuade anyone to donate, I too would prefer the money be sent to the Paul campaign but the least we can do is be a bit more supportive of him...at least a little less dismissive.

What kind of message does this send to those who wish to endorse Paul in the future ?

I am glad he is supporting

I am glad he is supporting Ron but he hides behind the word "family values" to let big government in our marriage. I am not saying his opponent is any better but I think my money is better just going to Ron Paul at this point.

One of the best things

about all the people here is that they require proof on issues. This is how everyone should be, Good Job everyone for asking the question...Is there proof.

Below is "more or less" proof that he has endorsed Ron Paul, however, I have no proof about the establishment attack.

I got this information directly from this reps. website.

we got proof?

I live in SC. How did I miss his endorsement of RP. I looked

at his website and did not see the endorsement for RP? Please enlighten me.

Here. . .

He's probably more focused on his re-election than a presidential primary that happened months ago, but this is the endorsement he put out at the time.

He is deffinitley up against a wall in SC...

He is up against a trial lawyer who is deffinitley playing hard ball politics. We had him scheduled to speak at the RLC convention in SC and he had to cancel last minute so he could campaign. http://youtu.be/dHdWHKaRCfE
