I just got this text from a co-worker
Exact text
---Heard a funny story, my cousin goes to CSUF an I told her to go see RP. So she was going to go but her professor basically forbid it. She says he hadn't taken role all year but all of the sudden that day was "the most important day of class all year" he gave 3 quizzes and took role 3 times!!! When she mentioned RP he said, "we have way more important things to do here"-----
Head Count and Seating Capacity analysis. CAL State Fullerton.
Here are some graphics that serve as analysis data for a head count at the CAL State Fullerton Ron Paul Rally.
Wiki states the seating of the stadium with "bare bleachers", (no orange chairs), is 10,000, thus 5,000 per side.
When orange chairs are deployed this reduces seating on the side that is filled by ~500.
4,000 as reported seems to be a very accurate number.
You can see some analysis based on the "Empty Stadium", vs. the crowd that was present here:

They were registering like crazy
According to Allan Bartlett (on the OC Republican Central Committee -- running for reelection in the 74th Assembly District after the redistricting), they registered 800 new Republicans.
I must have been asked 20 times if I was registered Republican (I'm running for the Central Committee in the 68th Assembly District as well). There were people with megaphones making sure the attendees knew they could not vote for Ron Paul if they were not registered Republican.
They did a GREAT job!!!
Do poll watching and....
...exit polling, or none of it will matter.

that's the way to do it!
closing the deal! sign up more and more!
I love how the Doc kinda 'forgets' to mention that he's a candidate, in some of his speeches. lol
Our Champ, always focused on the message.
Thanks for reminding him that we love him as the messenger, and want him to be the next POTUS, as well! .D

I have that banner! Who wants it back?
I have that banner!!! Who wants it back? They were gonna throw it away so I grabbed it. It says "Ron Paul Incorruptible"
Hit me up if you want it back!

re: that banner!
It's the Orange Crunch calling.. they want their banner back, but this time over the 5, 57 and 22 freeway overpass....
Orange CRUSH
But awesome nonetheless
I really think it's time now
I really think it's time now for Romney just to step down. And Obama for that matter. :)
Had a great time
This was my first Ron Paul event. Found out about it the morning of so I printed "early seating" tickets for my wife and I and 4 other family/friends. Place was maxed out with several people standing. My brother is also a big Ron Paul supporter and we loved joining in on the "End the Fed" chanting and positive shouting. Overall a fun crowd. Met some nice people there and had some good conversations while waiting in line. After seeing Ron Paul in so many videos online, it was neat to finally see him in person. Had a really great time.
Rally at UCI (IRVINE) ???
Ok, I have been to UCLA and CSFU (Fullerton) Rallies.
UCLA was unbelievable and Fullerton was great.
I am going to UCSD (San Diego) Friday night.
But what I am REALLY hoping for is a UCI Rally.
We could fill a terrific inside venue to a capacity 5K plus !!!
It will really rock.
Let's get those new voters registered before the May 21 deadline.
And lets get all Ron Paul voters to the polls on June 5.
Wow what Beautiful group of freedom lovers
Gives me hope for my kids' future..Thanks Ron!!

Was anyone selling Ron Paul
Was anyone selling Ron Paul campaign items - t-shirts, bumper stickers, etc.?
Yes. I bought a bumper
Yes. I bought a bumper sticker. "Ron Paul Peace and Prosperity"

My favorite quote from last night was about ending foreign aid.

At the next rally, we need the audience to file out and surround the nearest TV station.
What do you think? http://consequeries.com/
4,000? was 5,000+
The stadium holds 10,000 and the crowd filled the entire side with many people standing up top the entire time. Must have been over 5,000. That picture only shows one half of one side. It was a difficult venue for a photo op. Here's a video:

Thank you CSUF - Youth for Ron Paul
You guys did a great job.
People have to realize that this event barely went up on the RonPaul2012.com 24hrs prior. The school still had to get it approved before they could officially start to advertise it on their site.
With that being said, to draw a crowd of 5,000 half of the 10k capacity of the Titan Stadium, that is a great feat. Many of the people at Fullerton were Democrats, Independents, and for the most part the 1st time they've ever gone to political rally.
People weren't cheering as much, because most of the newbies were really listening to him talk, they were engaged. I've been a RP supporter since 2008. I brought 6 friends of which 3 were Democrats for Obama in the last election. Let me tell you know, they are now RP converts. They had no idea where he stood on the issues, now that they do know, they're astonished they've never heard anyone talk like that.
PEOPLE ARE WAKING UP!!
CALIFORNIA IS WAKING UP!!

Great news! Glad you brought

Crowd count analysis for confirmation
So there can be no doubt or disparaging about this event, I've done some crowd count and documentation of seating capacity for this side of the stadium here:

THANK YOU! for these excellent images.

Wow
I bet they wish the sports events were that packed all the time.

Oops, THIS is the Full res Stadium shot

By my estimate, after counting some heads, I'd say 4500-5000. It's tough to see how many are standing up in the balcony.
Certainly more than the crowd Romney drew on the other side of the stadium ;)

5000 at Fullerton
It looks like those standing up top would fill the gaps on the edges nicely. 5,000 is safe

Can't wait for Dr. Paul @ UC Davis tonight!
In California's supposedly 'Open' Primary, no votes for Ron Paul cast by anyone who is not acually a registered Republican will be counted toward the nomination.
With empathy toward those who have reservations toward 'being' a Republican, I am tonight handing out TWO voter registration forms and TWO stamped pre-addressed envelopes made out to the State Registrar to any Non-Republican who wants to be able to have their vote for Dr. Paul counted on June 5th but does not want their status of being a Republican to continue thereafter.
As Republicans they can then cast a vote on June 5th which will not be discounted by the Califorinia GOP and then go directly to the nearest mailbox and again change their voter registration status to any other party they wish.
Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has. - Margaret Mead
If you hav 2 b a registered republican for vote to count....
then that's a "close" primary--which is my belief. I switch parties regularly and that's the way it should be, you vote for the person not which side of the line. People could switch back later at any time. What's the big deal?
I don't understand how people allow themselves to be so trapped in a so call free society. If you're free, act freely and nailing oneself to a political party make no free sense. It make you weak and the system weak. What have they to fear if you'll support the same side every time? If one brand of shampoo don't work would you keep buying that brand? Switching means choices, choices means freedom and it'll sure as hell keep Washington on their toes.
Switch to Paul and switch again later--be Free, Live for Liberty!
I say: if you can't make it better, don't make it worst!
