HuffPost asks on front page: "The Million Dollar Question: What is Ron Paul up to?"

Ron Paul Racks Up Delegates, Putting GOP Establishment On Edge

WASHINGTON -- A prominent Iowa Republican, and a major supporter of Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, did not hesitate to answer when asked recently how many of the Hawkeye State's 28 delegates he expects Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) to have heading into the national convention in Tampa this August.

"Twenty," he said.

Conversations with numerous Iowa Republicans confirms the same thing: The state party establishment is dreading a Paul rout on June 15 and 16 at the two-day congressional district/state convention in Des Moines.

Making a cloud out of a silver lining.

Huffpost manages to work "Paulbot" into an article, but virtually nothing about WHY all of these delegates are so enthusiastic about Ron Paul. The author has done a very good job of keeping the story about an invasion by outside forces rather than a grassroots struggle of people trying to take back their party.

The Virtual Conspiracy

here's what i posted and it's true...

I am a canadian living in South Korea. I have met people from all over the world. The only candidate that gets any serious love outside of the united states is Ron Paul. I have friends from Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, England and so on. It is also a running joke overseas that Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. I'm not knocking Obama supporters for supporting him. I sincerely believe it is because such people believe in liberalism and not the man. But I also sincerely believe that it is only undisenfranchised american liberals that support him. It is a small circle globally.

(riled up some people but stuck to the principle of non-aggression and repeating to myself "FREEDOM OF SPEECH,FREEDOM OF SPEECH". No sense stooping to their level. Keep it up you freedom fighters in the western sphere, WE ARE PROUD OF YOU EVERYWHERE.)

Ron Paul has $1 Trillion prposal ~ I once held £1 million note.

Huffington Post asks a mere $1 million dollar question? What about the other $999,999,000,000?

They huffed... And they puffed... But they could not blow Ron Paul's house down. Ron Paul offers for free, a $1 Trillion savings on running the US government.

I once held a million pound note. But it was really nothing.

The Million Pound Note - Gregory Peck 1954" £1 Million Note by Mark Twain 3 minute film clip.

A marvelous little film from Ronald Neame an adaption of a story by Mark Twain. This scene shows the British attitude to wealth - it does not matter what you look like so long as you have money and plenty of it. "Never judge a book by its cover!" The restaurant are obsequious to the extreme when they ask for payment and are presented with the note.

An impoverished American sailor is fortunate enough to be passing the house of two rich gentlemen who has conceived the crazy idea of distributing a note worth one million pounds. The sailor finds that whenever he tries to use the note to buy something, people treat him as if he is a King and let him have whatever he likes for free. Ultimately, the money proves to be more troublesome than it is worth when it almost costs him his dignity and the woman he loves.

HuffPo asks, Ben Swann answers

And thanks to Reality Check, we now know what Ron Paul is up to: winning.

Michael Nystrom's fists can punch through FUD.

I tried to comment there but

I tried to comment there but I am getting censored. Alot of obama supporters and some mitt flop romney's. They like to argue and talk nonsense.

They dont want to open there eyes to the truth.

As much as I can't stand the redneck religious just conservatives. I feel like a lot of their bias comes from stupidity. But when I venture onto the Huffington Post I get even more angry and disturbed. I think it is the elitism that they portray in thinking that they are highly educated. They mock religion and God in defense of evolution yes somehow we are all supposed to have human rights and free markets are evil. So survival of the fittest only applies to biological evolution and not to free markets huh?

What's with all

the moronic comments?

Go post some good ones!

When Obama went after the Delegates

in the same fashion ... he was applauded and we now call him Mr. President... When we play the same game by the same rules and play it fair and square... we are called cheaters... I hope we have the same results and can soon call Dr Paul.... President Paul.

I got suckered into that site today

Spent a good 2 hours wielding a flaming sword of truth in that Liberal Statist pit of hell. The brainwashed stupidity there is overwhelming. "regulations" "regulations" "capital is evil" " pollution" "regulations" "racist"

If you're not catching flak, you're not over the target.

We follow the rules and chuckle. They cheat and piss and moan. What could be better? :)

Now it's about the Constitution and the fight to defend it.

if you check the comments

it seems like the same five or six people dis paul all through the 80 or so pages of comments.

I noticed the same

... sorry but I dont think they have more than 8 reading it who agree with it.

Last paragraph(s)

[Iowa state Rep. Erik] Helland said that in 2011, the legislature "deappropriated" $500 million over three years from programs such as state-mandated pre-school, government employee benefits and other programs that usually cause an outcry. Helland, who is the majority whip, said that on the Monday after they announced the spending cuts, he got back to Des Moines and "braced" himself for news of outrage from other state representatives who had spent the weekend meeting with constituents.

"They came back and said, 'We talked to our voters, they want to cut more,'" Helland said. "It was paradigm shifting. The voters started actually saying, 'cut.'"

Helland said he gives credit to Paul, who has spent a lot of time in Iowa over the past several years, for changing the political culture.

"Paul staked out such an aggressive dialogue on cutting government that some of the steps we've taken in the legislature and at the federal level are possible because Ron Paul talked about it to the extent that it became politically palatable," Helland said.

"Ron Paul is the most successful presidential candidate in the last couple decades, even though he hasn't won the election," he continued. "He has shaped the dialogue."

Nice slideshow..

The slideshow with that article has many really nice pictures of Dr. Pau.

Let's be fair

Now Huff, Let's be fair and give your boy Mitt the same question, OK.
What is Fake Mitt Romney up to?
Why does he want to be President? Especially, since he earns almost $60,000 per day in INVESTMENTS. Whats his motive for wanting to be President?
What did he mean when he said the Patriot Act needed to be strengthened?
Why is he so "unelectable"?
Let's be fair Huff and ask some of these questions about your boy, OK.

What is Dr. Paul up to...Just ask some of his supporters and you will understand...He's trying to save America from total collapse and take-over by a BIG out of control Government, and at the same time Give you back some of your LIBERTY...
Read your constitution. OK

The big bad Post Huffs, & Puffs~But can't blow Paul's house down

The Post huffs... but Ron Paul & his house still stand. He stands for liberty. For responsible governance. Sound money. $1 trillion dollars in savings for the United States of America cannot be wronged. No matter. No matter what the Post huffs. No matter how much they try. They cannot blow down such a well built man & nor his home.

Ron Paul for President, 2012.

When Liberals attack

I have resorted to calling myself a classical liberal when dealing with these people, because they always ask me, "What does that mean?"

Anyway, if the Democratic Party establishment is attacking Ron Paul, then I think we got the GOP beat cold at this point and they already know it. I am becoming more and more confident that Ron Paul will be the nominee by the hour.

Just the GOP Establishment?

Just the GOP Establishment, how about you Huffington post and your contributors who spread your misinformed propaganda to your readers. Your ALL SOL.

The Million Dollar Question:

The Million Dollar Question: How can the average Huff Post commenter have access to a wonderful learning tool like the internet and remain so ignorant?

Why would my £1 million note buy nothing but trouble?

Why does the Post huff, & puff, & pop a $1 million question? Can it not see Ron Paul has a $1 Trillion proposal? What about the other $999,999,000,000?

The Million Pound Note (1953) - Gregory Peck 1954 £1 Million Note by Mark Twain ~ 1 minute film clip.

I was stuck with what I had. None made change.

It's purposeful

Anything that fails to fit with their leftist orientation, never makes it thru their bias filter.

I know, right?

..he's up to a bunch of

..he's up to a bunch of delegates and plans to be our President with the help of the People. Just what have YOU been up to, Huff?

Million? It's Not A Secret To Us.... Maybe President Paul will

reveal the big secret to you. OR Maybe you'll figure it out before Dr. Paul is inaugurated in January 2013....Ha!

Since they have to approve of messages before they get posted

and since I don't know if they'll approve of my post, here is my comment to the article.

For years, every time Ron Paul ran for president, the media's knee-jerk reaction has been "you can't win." "You can't win." "You can't win." Knee-jerk reaction. They mocked, they sneered, they discredited, they misrepresented.

Of course the Huffington Post would post something as scathingly hateful toward Ron Paul as this. They and the rest of the mainstream media, the establishment GOP, etc have been insisting that Ron Paul cannot and must not win. They go to every length to discredit him and paint him black when they're not blatantly blacking him out. Now they have their own reputation for being able to control the people and predict the future at stake.

Ron Paul is a good, sincere man, and his supporters are fighting fair for a fair chance to saving this country from socialism and restore America towards the free country it was meant to be. Every act to unfairly discriminate against the Ron Paul supporters is a shame to those committing them.

Ron Paul is winning in spite of all of the money and influence his opponents have. He's winning because his message rings true. True enough for his followers to get involved in every way they can to legally save this country.

If the GOP in Iowa looses credibility, that's their own fault. They have been corrupted and manipulative and cheaters for a long time. It's time that their own incompetence and lack of principle be brought to light.

"Moderation in temper is always a virtue; but moderation in principle is always a vice." -- Thomas Paine

Gee, what can Ron Paul be up to?

CERTAINLY not running for the GOP nomination because Huffpo KNOWS that the will never happen. He must be "up to" something else, nefarious and sneaky (but only sneaky because the old media refuses to report on it!!

It's amazing how they can

It's amazing how they can twist a noble goal to a personal matter, The Dr. is trying all he can with the help of his supporters to return America to it's roots and back on the right track, then all they can come up with is:
"But at the very least, Paul's delegate total and the willingness of his supporters to vote for him on the floor in Tampa is certain to draw attention to his cause and his message of limited government. It seems somewhat unlikely that Paul would forego the chance to see his supporters give the GOP establishment fits on the convention floor, under a nationally televised microscope, simply to gain a better speaking slot at the four-day event.

So he may be simply building a movement with a view toward giving his son, Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), a head start for the 2016 race. "

everyone knows he could never win. LOL!

Give Dr. Paul the million

Give Dr. Paul the million dollars because he answered this question in every speech he gave since his campaign started the delegates hunt process.
