An Open Letter to John R. Phillippe, RNC Counsel, Regarding the Nevada State Republican Convention

I have just written the linked open letter to Mr. Phillippe, explaining why his and the RNC's interpretation of the Nevada Delegate Binding Rules for 2012 manufactures a meaning that is not present in the rules’ plain text.

I go into great depth regarding what the actual rules say and how Phillippe's letter completely inverts their meaning.

Please read and spread this letter for maximum impact. Hopefully, this will provide others with some ideas about how to counteract the manipulation of a fair process undertaken by the Romney campaign with the assistance of the RNC.

Thank you for a very cogent refutation of the legitimacy of the RNC's interpretation.
Incidentally, one of the side effects of Ron Paul's 2012 campaign has been the exposure of the RNC as an organization which is obviously beholden to the political establishment, NOT to the members of the Republican Party.

I have sent a link to the open letter to people at the Las Vegas Sun, the Las Vegas Review Journal, and The Hill. The Ron Paul Campaign in Nevada is also aware of this letter and has expressed its appreciation. This is a good start.

Gingrich/ Santorum supporters?

Why do reports on the NV convention indicate Romney "should" be allocated 20 delegates when he only won 50% of the primary vote? Even in this response, there is no indication that a delegate may choose to be allocated as a Gingrich or Santorum delegate and then be unbound at the time those delegates are released by the respective campaigns.
