“We Are Preparing For Massive Civil War,” Says DHS Informant

In a riveting interview on TruNews Radio, Wednesday, private investigator Doug Hagmann said high-level, reliable sources told him the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is preparing for “massive civil war” in America.

“Folks, we’re getting ready for one massive economic collapse,” Hagmann told TruNews host Rick Wiles. Sign-up for my 100% FREE Alerts

“We have problems . . . The federal government is preparing for civil uprising,” he added, “so every time you hear about troop movements, every time you hear about movements of military equipment, the militarization of the police, the buying of the ammunition, all of this is . . . they (DHS) are preparing for a massive uprising.”

Hagmann goes on to say that his sources tell him the concerns of the DHS stem from a collapse of the U.S. dollar and the hyperinflation a collapse in the value of the world’s primary reserve currency implies to a nation of 311 million Americans, who, for the significant portion of the population, is armed.

Uprisings in Greece is, indeed, a problem, but an uprising of armed Americans becomes a matter of serious national security, a point addressed in a recent report by the Pentagon and highlighted as a vulnerability and threat to the U.S. during war-game exercises at the Department of Defense last year, according to one of the DoD’s war-game participants, Jim Rickards, author of Currency Wars: The Making of the Next Global Crisis.

Through his sources, Hagmann confirmed Rickards’ ongoing thesis of a fear of a U.S. dollar collapse at the hands of the Chinese (U.S. treasury bond holders of approximately $1 trillion) and, possibly, the Russians (threatening to launch a gold-backed ruble as an attractive alternative to the U.S. dollar) in retaliation for aggressive U.S. foreign policy initiatives against China’s and Russia’s strategic allies Iran and Syria.

“The one source that we have I’ve known since 1979,” Hagmann continued. “He started out as a patrol officer and currently he is now working for a federal agency under the umbrella of the Department of Homeland Security; he’s in a position to know what policies are being initiated, what policies are being planned at this point, and he’s telling us right now—look, what you’re seeing is just the tip of the iceberg. We are preparing, we, meaning the government, we are preparing for a massive civil war in this country.”

“There’s no hyperbole here,” he added, echoing Trends Research Institute’s Founder Gerald Celente’s forecast of last year. Celente expects a collapse of the U.S. dollar and riots in America some time this year.

Since Celente’s ‘Civil War’ prediction of last year, executive orders NDAA and National Defense Resources Preparedness were signed into law by President Obama, which are both politically damaging actions taken by a sitting president.

And most recently, requests made by the DHS for the procurement of 450 million rounds of hollow-point ammunition only fuels speculation of an upcoming tragic event expected on American soil.

These major events, as shocking to the American people as they are, have taken place during an election year.

who will fight for the government side

once money is worthless and government employees aren't being paid?

Guerilla Warefare there no match for

Take a look at Vietnam or even them getting owned in Afghanistan and Iraq. US military and police are bad at that style of warfare of which they would face if there was civil war for some reason. they also can't just go around killing random people otherwise they would spark a massive uprising. Also there will be those who break ranks and join the civilian side because of fear for their life or of their beliefs. Also bullet proof vests are not that expensive folks. just if for some reason the gov't started attacking i don't know why, do not go straight up to the forces and fight, Guerilla Warefare will defeat them in the end.

manifest peace

... and resist violence with the patience of Job.

"Be the change you wish to see in the world"

You are correct

There will be no need for war once the cops and military realize that they are on the wrong side. They want "civil war", it's a convenient way of eradicating people who aren't docile sheep.

The cognitive dissonance is staggering

So they admit their monetary system is a scam, that their "management" of the "economy" has failed, that economic catastrophe awaits us, and that the government intends to attack the citizens they "represent" if these citizens get uppity about continuing to submit to this "leadership" and "rise up".
Get that? How dare the slaves have an "uprising", to rise up means we are beneath Our Glorious State Masters. This country is armed to the teeth but they have more bullets. I think they have been buying them up so the slaves can't get them.

Civil war

is not the same thing as some riots in the big city ghettos, or a passing fling with general unrest.

Not sure how sound the source is; the comment

thread is FULL of unsavory xenophobes; that alone makes me suspect the site has another agenda than liberty.

The best scenario even if this dire forecast came true is that the freedom movement largely understands we will win by peaceful means. Let the Left which advocates coercion do physical battle with the State, when they wake up. We'll hopefully be in safe places, busy feeding and protecting our families, friends, trusted community contacts and rebuilding civilization.

The left is the state! let

The left is the state! let the right wing south take care of it

One Second After paints a scary picture...

of a social breakdown. Remember after Katrina/Rita, it only took 3 days for society itself to completely come apart...and how did the "government" help? The National Guard went door-to-door and confiscated all the guns of the rightful homeowners who were protecting their stuff. In the end, those good citizens had their houses looted!
This is part of our Libertarian-mindedness: We look out for ourselves...be self-reliant. Do NOT rely on any authority to help you...'cause if the poop really does hit the fan (as suggested in the OP), there will be no cowboy in a white hat coming to save your sorry butt. Prepare now...do the best you can, have a strategy for yourself and your family, and stick to your plan!! I really, really hope all this is just paranoid delusion, and that those of us who believe Martial Law and FEMA camps are in our near-future, turn out to be total nut-jobs and nothing happens...the wind keeps blowing, the planet keeps spinning, and we all are enjoying a tropical drink with a little umbrella in it... without a care in the world!

Silence isn't always golden....sometimes it's yellow.

What Army, Ever read One Second After

I believe that every troop has a family, and friends, how many are going to turn against the U.S. citizens...There isa book called One Second After...a quick and excellent read. Read it if you so desire, And btw, the forward is written by Newt Gingrich himself. How many supplies does the average American have on hand? 3? 4? days, how much gas is in your gas tank. What will you do to survive. I do not consider myself a survivalist, i have 2 children and am livong day to day with love, not fear...What the government does is on thing, what will people do to each other is the question. What would the average American do, once there food and gas runs out. the internet is locked down, electricity will be gone, medicine will run out, computers shut down. All in a hospital that are sick, will perish right away. Those who are not healthy, willl perish a little later. People will start fighting for food as the transportation will be shut down, no trucking, no food, no electricity, nothing left but fish (nice and contaminated with chemicals and radiation, and veggies...If you have a family and they haven't eaten in 10 days, your kids are crying, you have no resources, what will you do survive? I am not suggesting or trying to be fear mongering, but this will be the trouble in the country, not that the government will attack witha emp, but what would people do to each other...if all of these things are shut down, it will turn into survival ofthe fittest, and 80 % of the population will perish within a year, oh and the disease will run far and wide...again not a survivalist but am informed, Having a plan, and the money for bunkers and food and all of that, those people are lucky, but being informed, those people will at least have a fighting chance...its the 80%,10%,10% rule. People will be killing each other on there own, for the need to survive, it is human nature...live each day like its your last, love as much as you can, enjoy what you have, and just keep a file in the back of your head of what to do, those who work together and share will be successful, those who do not, won't last long...and, btw, I am not a fear monger who is trying to sell anything to you, except maybe a good and important read. EMP powered or not. Don't know what an EMP is, look it up...until then, enjoy the freedoms that you may not have soon...a start small community planning groups...

This is silly. It doesn't

This is silly. It doesn't matter how prepared the government is to take on it's citizens the American people are NOWHERE near psychologically ready for some sort of uprising against the government. Most people still think we live in the freest country in the world.

There may be localiszed riots in cities when the food runs out in grocery stores or isolated instances of social upheaval but that's about it for right now and our already militarized police will put that down brutally and quickly.

Dude...wake up...

Starvation is only a missed paycheck away for many people, and when hunger is the focus, the search for food is paramount in the individual's mind. Once food has been located and obtained, the time spent eating it is spent on trying to identify both why he became hungry in the first place, and a plan of action to ensure that the cause is neutralized.

Once the meal has ended and the culprit identified, other than the focus on the next meal, the secondary focus will center on ensuring that who/what was responsible for one's hunger pains, loses any and/or all ability to force one into such a state again.

Sure, many...nay....most...still exist on a steady diet of caloric rich foods topped with tri-color meme, but that paradigm can change in the blink of an eye. Given the rather large sub-section of society that is now fully appraised of our situation and the reasons behind our demise, I'm sure that the "re-education" to come will not take place in FEMA camps but in the local diner and on the bench at little league...soon thereafter....both barrels of the "newly awakened" ire will be aimed at the very body that has sold us down the river and specifically at identifyable individuals who were party to the hunger catylst...I guess I wouldn't be playing with the fire that these GOP apparatchiks are playing with right now...using their real names and identities. Seems preety stupid to me to believe that one can act in fraudulent impunity and not try to cover ther tracks...just sayin'...

There needs not be a planned, organized "force" of "domestic extremists" as they would probably initially be called, for everything to melt down in one fell swoop. When uniformed men with weapons paid for by the citizens, begin murdering the citizens, all bets are off as to "timing" and "nature" of the push-back...nor its outcome when measuring fire-power and technology against sheer numbers and the power of intent.

I think Celente is on the money in saying..."When people lose evrything...they lose it..." I'd say their meme driven understandings of life will be the first thing to go...the their "acceptive nature" will come next...

Wha? .....hey....who stole my country?

What's with the "wake up?" I

What's with the "wake up?" I gave an honest opinion. I don't insist that it can't happen but I don't believe the people are anywhere near ready for anything drastic. I respect Gerald Celente I just think his prediction is a bit more apocyptic than mine.

DHS being panicky enough to prepare for something like that is certainly a possibility I just don't think Americans, even hungry ones, are that far down the road yet.

Remember what happened in New

Remember what happened in New Orleans?

you're forgetting about

you're forgetting about militia groups alread organized and prepared to defend the people against the militant police

Not really forgetting about I

Not really forgetting about I just don't know the actual stregth and seriousness of such groups. But I'm pretty sure the FBI does and would act pretty swiftly against them in some sort of event.

DHS preparing for some great rebellion says more about how panicky DHS is than how prone to violence Americans are.

Your assumptions are mired in shallow thought...

as what you say is completely dependant upon circumstances, as you them, swirling and operating in the same environment that you now understand.

It's sort of like the Caveat "All things being equal..." In the scenario of a financial collapse...believe me...all things will not be equal and your postulations have to begin in Chaos...not from order...to be even remotely worthy of consideration. I think you are discount far too much of the unknown here...

I personally fear what a state of collapse might bring.

Wha? .....hey....who stole my country?

I don's see the necessity of

I don's see the necessity of insulting me over a difference of opinion.

You may turn out to be right and me wrong, it's the future and no one know it with any certainty but it still hardly makes either of us shallow.

Calm down Francis...

I am not insulting you...simply disagreeing with you and giving you my reasons why. That I have pointed to distinct reasoning behind my contrary position, and done so forcefully and without petting you in the process, should not be construed as an attack on you. Not all disagreement is an invitation to battle.

That I refer to your post as "shallow thought" is simply because I feel that this is what you have engaged in...and I gave you my reasons for believing so and some seemingly un-included other factors for your consideration.

It should engage you and engender either a change in your presumption or, if you disagree, debate wherein you are free to try and change mine.

By using "shallow thought", I was not calling you an idiot for I myself can be incredibly shallow in how I approach something, or in consideration of an idea. It depends on interest. On this subjet, I have thought a great deal about it...and still do. I have not come to solid conclusions...but on one thing I agree with you...whatever will come...it is not yet time, and right now....YOUR paradigm is still in evidence.

Sorry for my shitty delivery.

Wha? .....hey....who stole my country?

And I, for One

Am not counting on a "militia" to defend my rights.
Most likely they will be more concerned with their immediate "family"....not me or mine.
I gotta laugh about the "posers", not "posters" who are
always talking war, guns etc....There's many here who don't even own a gun, rifle, etc. (although I'm holding).
Just be prepared (bug-out bag, etc),don't fear..be aware though.

It is obvious

and has been for a long time where things are headed.

I don't know about civil war

But I am expecting mass social unrest and riots in large cities during the next Presidential term if Obamney get in, due to economic distress.

Obama must be at least considering the possibility as well.
Otherwise why staff the FEMA camps?
There are no protests from Republicans about staffing FEMA camps - Romney must think he might need them as well.

We have authorisation to use troops on US soil - NDAA.
We have military rule at the whim of the President

"In the end, more than they wanted freedom, they wanted security. They wanted a comfortable life, and they lost it all -- security, comfort, and freedom. When ... the freedom they wished for was freedom from responsibility, then Athens ceased to be free."

I'm not sure

if this is reliable either, but see what you think

"Annymous sources" should be

"Annymous sources" should be treated with great skepticism until their claims can be verified from multiple sources.

bla bla bla

Dunno who the other guy is but, Celente has been predicting riots and in the street for years and NOTHING has ever come close.

My advice? -Don't be fooled into buying what the peddlers of fear are selling.

BTW...Where is the proof of any of this? some guy said this or that, ok, so prove it! Otherwise its gobbly gook and Doesn't deserve 30 votes up.

Does this mean

that we should invest in the Ruble while it's cheap? If they get backed by gold before, if ever again the US Dollar. I guess it couldn't hurt to hold some in my portfolio.

The Russians (threatening to launch a gold-backed ruble as an attractive alternative to the U.S. dollar)

I have a simple suggestion

All of their power comes from their money. Money buys influence. So we will have to reject the Federal Reserve Notes. That would be the solution. I am already looking for a job that pays commodity money. In the mean time, I will keep buying silver from people as long as they take FRNs. I have the feeling that we are a lot closer to the end of the dollar than anyone thinks. Maybe a month or two.
