Nevada GOP leaders say they'll do it their way

Nevada GOP leaders on Friday dismissed legal advice from the Republican National Committee, which threatened not to seat the state's delegates at the national convention if too many Ron Paul supporters are elected.

The decision was made during a meeting of the Nevada Republican Party's executive committee ahead of Saturday's state GOP convention, said Dave Gibbs, the Clark County GOP chairman on the panel.

binding seems like a bs waste of time. Romney's kid is

showing up and the las vegas review brings that up but doesn't mention Ron Paul will be there too.

...probably because of all those fantastic articles...

I glanced over this and was surprised that a local paper would report a pro-Paul relative of Romney's but not mention the appearance of Dr. Paul at the convention!
Only after a few re-reads did I realize that he/she is a CHILD of Romney's and definitely FOR their father.
Haha... I'm happy that my subconscious instinctively went "Romney relative = Pro-Paul".

Is Ron Paul still going to be

Is Ron Paul still going to be there? He's in California today and in Texas on Sunday. Is he going to Nevada tomorrow?!/cevans93

To arms! To arms! The Redcoats are coming!

Yes he will be at the convention on Saturday...

"...the secretary of the

"...the secretary of the state meeting will bind 20 of those elected delegates to vote for Romney at the national convention and 8 for Paul."

Romney is only supposed to have 14 delegates bound to him according to the caucus results. Is there anyway this can be stopped? Is it against the rules for anyone other than the convention to bind delegates?!/cevans93

No she cant

The GOP is a private party and have their own rules. The rules can be changed by the delegates, but she can't disrupt a private political process or she will be braking the law.
