Breaking! The Patriots of Nevada Deliver. Ron Paul Delegates Win 25 of 28 Seats to Republican National Convention!

In a contentious and hardfought 20 hour marathon spanning 2 days the patriots of Nevada prevailed and put Ron Paul supporters in 25 of the 28 seats allocated to Nevada for the Republican National Convention in Tampa.

Included in those seats are the new national committee man and committee woman, both liberty lovers and supporters of Ron Paul.

This is an awesome against the odds victory as Romney captured a sizable majority of popular votes in the state caucus in February.

I can tell you from personal experience as a delegate to this state convention that liberty is alive and well in Nevada, and represented by an amazing group of dedicated and committed patriots.

I will write a more detailed article regarding the highs and lows when I return to Las Vegas, but couldn't wait to get the word out to all of you.

Much love to all my countrymen and fellow lovers of liberty.

Peace out from Sparks.

They will do everything they can to stop us at upcoming

Delegates are UNBOUND!!!!!!!!!! :O!!!!!!!!

Watch the recent Ben Swann Reality Check. He expertly explains that all delegates bound or unbound can vote for the candidate of their choosing. Meaning that Romney actually has far less delegates than what the MSM actually reports and that Ron Paul actually has far more delegates then what the MSM actually tells us.

Bob, who are you?

Here's a little more convention news:

Cynthia Kennedy, Nevada RON PAUL Delegate!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope you will be

Seated. The RNCommitee staff are acting like employees of the Romney Campaign. We need to pray and to remind all Republican leadere thta we are winning delegates according to the rules of the party in each state. BUT Way to go!! Nevadans for Ron Paul.

With all due respect, I will no longer be a voting prostitute for Constitution rejecting harlots.

After all this hard work

I hope there is some coup in the works where these people say FU to the establishment and vote for Ron Paul on the first ballot in August.

Too much is at stake here to leave to chance. No point holding our breath and hoping for a second ballot. Rule 38 or no Rule 38; it's time to get medieval and vote for Ron Paul and see what happens. At the very least it would be fun to watch.

22/28, NOT 25/28

Please update your article and title so people get correct information.

Well done, Nevada! Words

Well done, Nevada! Words cannot express the pride and admiration I have for all of you. Your success will serve as an example and inspiration for our movement. Congratulations, and thank you!

Mitt Romney to challenge Nevada results?

You KNOW that's coming...

How is the count always different here than other sites?

I'm from Canada but as a liberty lover I do follow closely the Ron Paul campaign since 2006.

I don't understand how the count here are always different than other web site.

Nevada has 28 delegates. This post claim Ron Paul got 25.

The New York Times show 5...

That's a huge difference, is there any "official" result? I would think big site like NYTime would get their source from there....

Thanks for someone explaining me this.

You won't find any accurate counts in any normal media outlet

The journalists haven't read the election rules, quite apart from deliberate obfuscation and disinformation.
I haven't see any of the thousands of journalists who have even taken a look at the rules. One looked at the rules for one state.

The article shows how the delegates were supposedly bound from the caucus.
But Ron Paul people got 22 out of 28 delegate slots.
Only 5 Ron Paul people can vote for Ron Paul - according to the initial caucus.
The rest of them can abstain (they could vote for Ron Paul but the penalties for doing so are unclear - risk of getting thrown out and not being able to vote on the 2nd ballot perhaps).

My projected count is Romney 6, Ron Paul 5, 17 Abstentions.
If it was required a couple could switch from abstaining to vote Ron Paul to win the state.
I have updated my latest count elsewhere.

"In the end, more than they wanted freedom, they wanted security. They wanted a comfortable life, and they lost it all -- security, comfort, and freedom. When ... the freedom they wished for was freedom from responsibility, then Athens ceased to be free."

Official number?

Thanks for your reply, just there you talk about 22 instead of 25 as the title suggested.

Is the state have any "official" number? I understand it's different from state to state but I find it hard to "believe" everyone number just based on a post without any references.

the Green papers

Perhaps you will believe this
All my counts agree with the Green Papers plus adjustments for what I expect to happen, as detailed in the notes.

6 May 2012 from Las Vegas Sun: Ron Paul supporters capture majority of Nevada’s national delegates. Delegates to national GOP convention must vote in first round according to caucus results but are free to vote for others if there is a second round. Paul's supporters won 22 of the 25 national delegate ... 3 automatic delegates are expected to support Romney ... Romney will have 6 supporters....

Delegates elected: Paul 22, Romney 6 (3 delegates + the 3 RNC delegates).
Carl Bunce, Chair of the Paul campaign in Nevada, indicated that that the Paul supporters would "follow the rules" in Tampa. The updated bindings, based on the 4 February caucus vote of those candidates still in the race are Romney 20 (28 × 16,486 ÷ 22,661 = 20.37 => 20) and Paul 8 (28 × 6,175 ÷ 22,661 = 7.628 => 8).

I believe you are correct....at least on first round of voting :)

Thank you Nevada.. Massachusetts needs abstain to unbound,

We need TX and CA.

We did it!

Just returned from Sparks and thank you for writing this because I am too exausted to do the same.
Thank you my fellow Nevadans for sticking together and finally take our party back. It is now our party and status quo be damn!! President Paul......President Paul

*Holds up Brofist*

You guys (and the Maine people) rocked it hard. Way to stay professional and get things done.

Man, I wish there was a way for FL to do caucuses. That was really awesome to watch the political process at play, with true neighbors coming together to debate and vote. It seemed very intimate and personal, as politics should be. This mass-market "pull a lever for this guy and walk away" stuff that we do makes me cry.

And wow, that was exciting, with great play-by-play coming out of Nevada. It was like a marathon Superbowl. VERY entertaining.

Kinda funny - for all that the MSM sucks, the web got my eyeballs. I fast-forward my TV ads on my Tivo all the time, but I obviously couldn't do that on the web. I probably ended up watching 30 minutes of ads over the course of several hours.

..That's what I'm talking about!!! Thank you Nevadans!!!!

Way to go, Nevada!!!

If I ever leave Maine, I know what state I'm headin' to!

Congrats on your (our) victory!!!

22 of 25 Voted Delegates??? I thought

And not sure about the 3 super delegates so at least 22 of 28.

We lost CD - 2, Romney swept all 3 of those delegates...That is what I read anyways.

In Maine we won 21 of 21 (Governor LePage is one of the delegates and he leans towards Paul but no confirmation) and the other 3 super delegates 2 already said they are for Romney SO at worst 20 of 24 in Maine!!

"If you put a gun to my head and said vote Romney/Gingrich/Santorum...I would say pull the trigger!"

We did it.

It's not too late for a miracle.

It's not impossible.

I Have prayed for this day..the GREAT AWAKENING! I ask our Creator to bless and protect Dr. Paul and all his loved ones (his loved ones include all of us who have helped this R3VOLUTION along) America is SICK and we the people must do what it takes to hire an honest Dr. to bring this country back to good health..Dr. Paul is the ONLY ONE. Continue to pray for justice and Dr. Pauls safety..and break out the billfold and give till it hurts..can you spend your funny money any better??? Thanks to all of you! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

To arms! To arms! The Redcoats are coming!

GREAT! Let's just keep flying under the radar.

Let the Mainstream Media ignore Ron Paul victory after victory until it's too late!

So let's not complain if this DOESN'T make the news.
