Republican Executive Committee Member Calls for Resignation of RNC Chairman Reince Priebus

Due to an alleged violation of the national GOP's Rule # 11 (bans favoritism of one candidate while more than one candidate exists), an Executive Committee member within the GOP calls for the resignation of RNC Chairman Reince Priebus.

Washington, DC, May 07, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Jeffrey Bales, a Member-at-Large of the Pima County GOP Executive Committee (Tucson, Arizona), says:

“Due to violation of the RNC's Rule #11, I call for Chairman Reince Priebus to resign immediately. It is un-American and beneath the standards established by the Republican Party to violate this rule. It is unethical to support a single Republican Presidential candidate (Mitt Romney) while other Republican candidates remain in the race.

"Further, I call upon Mitt Romney to denounce this behavior and ask that the RNC repair the breach of trust by including the other remaining Republican Presidential candidate, Dr. Ron Paul, in any dispensation of funds, effort and labor. It would benefit all Americans if Mitt Romney would further clarify the fact that 2 candidates remain if he challenged Dr. Ron Paul to a debate."

Rule #11 states:
"Rule No. 11 Candidate Support
(a) The Republican National Committee shall not, without the prior written and filed approval of all members of the Republican National Committee from the state involved, contribute money or in-kind aid to any candidate for any public or party office except the nominee of the Republican Party or a candidate who is unopposed in the Republican primary after the filing deadline for that office. In those states where state law establishes a nonpartisan primary in which Republican candidates could participate, but in which the general election may not include a Republican candidate, the candidate endorsed by a convention held under the authority of the state Republican Party shall be recognized by the Republican National Committee as the Republican nominee.

(b) No state Republican Party rule or state law shall be observed that allows persons who have participated or are participating in the selection of any nominee of a party other than the Republican Party, including, but not limited to, through the use of a multiparty primary or similar type ballot, to participate in the selection of a nominee of the Republican Party for that general election. No person nominated in violation of this rule shall be recognized by the Republican National Committee as the nominee of the Republican Party from that state."

Resign now Chairman Priebus!

I just emailed this to the RNC:
To: Chairman Reince Priebus,

I have heard of contributions being made to Romney's campaign on your suggestion. This is illegal and goes against the bylaws of your own organization. There are still TWO candidates in the Republican Primaries...NOT JUST ROMNEY!
Again, the RNC needs to be taken over by the new, younger seed, because the current organization practices cronyism, and is a false front for the democratic process. STOP trying to engineer the selection of the Republican nominee!

Accept it, swallow it, BATHE IN IT...........The republican party cannot win without the Ron Paul vote! Did you hear me? Not the youth vote, but the Ron Paul vote! I am 50 y.o., and I am actively out in public speaking to people about R.P., and let me tell you people are a LOT more receptive than even two months ago.

You should be ashamed of yourself and just resign. We are calling for your resignation for this transgression!

Sincerely,
S.S.

I signed petition. Emailed Jeffrey Bales to Thank Him! I emailed NRC and this is their response to me.
Thank you for contacting the Republican National Committee. Our Party’s success depends on the active participation of supporters like you, and we are glad you took the time to write. We believe in listening to as many views as possible from people like you, who represent the Republican Party. Receiving letters and information from members enables us to get a wide range of opinions, which are shared with Republican candidates, officeholders and campaigns. They all value these comments, as do we at the RNC.

Due to the high volume of emails received on a daily basis, it is impossible to send out individual responses. Please be assured that your comments will be read and included in our daily report to Chairman Priebus. Please check our website, www.gop.com, for information on our activities. If you have requested information that we can provide, we will respond as quickly as possible.

Our Party needs your continued support to get our message out to every American. We appreciate you taking the time to share with us your concerns and we hope you will continue to keep us advised of any future concerns.

This deal was discussed at length on the radio (Josh Tolley, with Jeffrey Bales on the phone). Great discussion.

Rule #11 Getting mainstream attention

About halfway down the article they mention the exact same thing: http://www.michiganstandard.com/216/ron-paul-might-actually-....

They also pointed out that if the convention does go brokered Romney probably can't win, but other candidates could also be nominated at that point even if they aren't running.

If Ron Paul has a majority of

If Ron Paul has a majority of the delegates at the RNC, they can nominate others till they turn blue in the face...

can we send this to the media please?

What about the fact that the

What about the fact that the RNC released a commercial for Romney a couple weeks ago? That seems even more serious of a rule violation than the two comments Mr. Priebus made.

I spoike to a guy "Fred" yesterday and today at the GOP national

committee. Fred knows "nothing about it" but he will PASS INFORMATION ON TO CHAIRMAN PRIEBUS!

"Fred" is a retired "volunteer" who DID NOT KNOW about Jeff Bale's letter OR Priebius' merging of the money funds with Mitt Romney. Told him he should volunteer for the Ron Paul campaign.

I tried searching for Priebus' email address and could not find it. We need to call and email the RNC and demand his head! Please post contact info if anybody has it.

Jeffrey Bales needs help!

My hat is off to Jeffrey Bales. He is a hero for standing up to the entire RNC alone, but his press release about what he alone is doing is doing alot, but not enough. Why not others standing with Jeff bales the Little Puma County RCC Executive Board menmber Jeff Bales makes a stand. BRAVO. Where is everyone else who is on a RCC executive board? Is Jeff alone there too?

I'm sure many who are involved with the campaign can't go where Jeff is going (I think the petition is half assed (excsue my French) and we need a real petition that correctly/legally unseats/removes Reince Priebus and puts the GOP back on the ethical tract.

We are still in a media blackout and now the forces against us are beginning to fight. We need more than Jeffrey Bales (GOD BLESS YOU Mr. Bales!)

The Petition

It was done late last night by a novice. It's editable. What would you like to see changed? She can add stuff.

She already added Jeff Bales contact info, a link to the article Bales wrote, and a link to the screen shot of Romney's donation page. So it's a work in progress while people sign. That petition appeared as soon as everyone saw Bales article. Bales has a huge pair, hats off..
A real Constitutional patriot.

Congratulations

I hope this leads said novice to a esteemed and respected career.

I believe The RNC Chair should be formally impeached, and that will take more than Mr Mojo Cajones Bales. He should be formally impeached.

If Romney won't respect his own parties rules and regs

How can we trust him with the rules under the US constitution?

After a little research

I am actually glad that this happened, the RNC may have just opened the door for a definite Ron Paul presidency. By throwing their support behind Mittens, thus breaking their own rules they made a grave error. Apparently when this rule is broken the effect is all delegates become unbound (remember when Dr Paul said " there are alot of things that could happen"?) well this is one of them. Now his delegate strategy is going to pay off big. We all know that some Romney delegates are actually RP supporters who would have been bound to vote MR in the first round of the convention, not anymore! Since the RNC broke this rule they are now free to vote however they choose in the first round. This made me laugh, talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face lol Ron Paul 2012 all the way to the white house!

sincerely,
Mike G.

It probably won't make a difference who is in charge of the RNC

The world central bank organization and top military industrial organizations focus their "influence" in the top leaders who effect their business and could convict them in criminal court.

Most top government and major party leaders are well aware the methods of influence the central banks have used in the past.
