Republican Executive Committee Member Calls for Resignation of RNC Chairman Reince Priebus

Due to an alleged violation of the national GOP's Rule # 11 (bans favoritism of one candidate while more than one candidate exists), an Executive Committee member within the GOP calls for the resignation of RNC Chairman Reince Priebus.

Washington, DC, May 07, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Jeffrey Bales, a Member-at-Large of the Pima County GOP Executive Committee (Tucson, Arizona), says:

“Due to violation of the RNC's Rule #11, I call for Chairman Reince Priebus to resign immediately. It is un-American and beneath the standards established by the Republican Party to violate this rule. It is unethical to support a single Republican Presidential candidate (Mitt Romney) while other Republican candidates remain in the race.

"Further, I call upon Mitt Romney to denounce this behavior and ask that the RNC repair the breach of trust by including the other remaining Republican Presidential candidate, Dr. Ron Paul, in any dispensation of funds, effort and labor. It would benefit all Americans if Mitt Romney would further clarify the fact that 2 candidates remain if he challenged Dr. Ron Paul to a debate."

Rule #11 states:
"Rule No. 11 Candidate Support
(a) The Republican National Committee shall not, without the prior written and filed approval of all members of the Republican National Committee from the state involved, contribute money or in-kind aid to any candidate for any public or party office except the nominee of the Republican Party or a candidate who is unopposed in the Republican primary after the filing deadline for that office. In those states where state law establishes a nonpartisan primary in which Republican candidates could participate, but in which the general election may not include a Republican candidate, the candidate endorsed by a convention held under the authority of the state Republican Party shall be recognized by the Republican National Committee as the Republican nominee.

(b) No state Republican Party rule or state law shall be observed that allows persons who have participated or are participating in the selection of any nominee of a party other than the Republican Party, including, but not limited to, through the use of a multiparty primary or similar type ballot, to participate in the selection of a nominee of the Republican Party for that general election. No person nominated in violation of this rule shall be recognized by the Republican National Committee as the nominee of the Republican Party from that state."

I googled the gop and

got on their rnc face book and started blasting them for breaking their own rule # 11. Also email maddow and blasted the media. Don't know if that had anything to do with it but it sure felt good at the time.

They were all willing to go

along with this criminality until We the People started calling them on it. Way To go PEOPLE !!! We are the PEOPLE !!!!

Called them with my....

you kids are in trouble voice....lol

could only leave a message though, asked for a return call and will continue to make calls to their office until the issue is resolved and the person behind these actions removed from leadership of the party.

Anybody made or can make a

Anybody made or can make a online-petition for the Republican members to sign regarding Mr. Reince Priebus' violation of the RNC rules?

If ever there were the epitome of an elitist status quo name

It's Etch-a-sketch Time Again!

First of all major thanks to Jeff for finding the rule and taking action. Secondly thanks to the rest of you for taking action. Pinch yourself to make sure this is real! First we get rid of the cheating and win back Maine and Nevada. Then we go after the cheating on a national level! I want to thank ghostdog above for the clip. Gretta nailed Priebus about this. There was some discussion in the thread about if Priebus was pushed into this. He may have been, but not only is there a rule, but the rule was put there because, if you think about it, this is simply unethical. Even if he didn't know the rule, he was acting unethically. Dr. Paul is such an extreme genleman that he probably wouldn't say anything. I think it is etch-a-sketch time again. Shake it up baby. We can't know if his replacement will be worse, but you can be sure they will be walking on eggs for a little while!

I just called.

They said I have to call between 9 and 3. They probably have a two hour lunch break as well.

Six hours would be more time than I am able to sleep d/t schedule.

Go figure?!!!

After reading this, I got an email from a friend.

Made me think of this big story, so I posted the cartoons I received:

NJ

I was at a NJ State GOP committee meeting last week and they spoke of Romney getting all 50 delegates and pushing Romney. Nothing in writing but they are all Romney establishment people and it was very evident

.....................................................
Atlas is shrugging

NJ is a highly Democratic State with a bunch of neocons

hanging around, jockeying for position. Fortunately, we do elect our delegates and a lot of people will vote for Romney and NOT vote for the delegates.

We have a meeting tomorrow evening at Ron Paul NJ HQ to discuss strategy for the June primary. Maybe you could make it and offer suggestions and/or advice?

We now have this thread on

We now have this thread on DP's front page, I hope many of our members will get the word out and hopefully other GOP members may begin to question the RNC chair actions.

Wowie!..

...go away for a while and come back and shazam!

Front page!

It is becoming more apparent that the People are the REAL Main Stream media and the fires of liberty and truth travel fast when all hands align in to the same directed energy focus on subjects like this.

Giving thanks not from the ego, but from the heart of America because this corruption IS the real issue that effects us ALL and to find it and bare it is the Way to gaining back control from these criminals that continue to perpetuate the violent acts against decency and honest elections. To fix a problem, you must first be aware of it.

Thanks also to all the DP folks here that got on board with this issue that must be addressed. What can be done about it?

For background, who could forget this scammery:

What has been long wondered about...

...is how is it that the gop can spend monies from local and state and national coffers on the mitney and his campaign, and not on any other candidate? Is it because they actually believe the media hyped vote rigging machine hoax that the mintney is winning the nomination that everyone else knows is hogwash and fraud?

From that link on another comment:

http://www.dailypaul.com/230341/newt-gingrich-4-million-in-d...

"...USA Today reports that Gingrich, in an interview, said he is embracing Mitt Romney's candidacy, and Romney and the Republican National Committee have offered to be helpful in retiring Gingrich's debt."

Like that word "retiring" aye!

Or said truthfully, the romulan and the gop will pay off newts debts to get his supporters and his supportive voice.

***Why does the gop pay for things to benefit the losing mitney, and not Ron Paul?

So yes, lets hope we get an answer to this. Already it reeks of nastiness and murky corruption dripping off the jagged edge of unreality.

Use the above links to express your support for
Jeffrey Bales, a Member-at-Large of the Pima County GOP Executive Committee (Tucson, Arizona)

By showing your support for Jeffrey Bales you will be letting other executive members know which way the wind is blowing. Perhaps other execs will jump on board. I would suggest avoiding leaving stupid comments that have no meaning. If you can, keep it professional and to the point. You support what Jeffrey is doing and expect that any other professional honest exec to publicly support Jeffrey's call that
RNC Chairman Reince Priebus step down.

We are like the mechanism of a watch: each part is essential.

Is the Ohio GOP breaking the rules, too?

Here is a letter I received a few days ago...

Dear Republican:

From county headquarters this morning, you could see the CNN Express bus parked nearby to cover the Obama campaign kickoff tomorrow. It's no coincidence that the kickoff is happening in Franklin County, Ohio. This presidential race is all about Ohio.

Tomorrow, volunteers in Franklin County will be going door-to-door and making phone calls to help defeat President Obama and elect a proven leader like Mitt Romney. Click here to get event details and to RSVP to volunteer.

Also this week, at the county level, unelected Democrat sheriff Zachary Scott was again in the Columbus Dispatch. This time he had to answer for the terrible conditions in our county jail. As our candidate for sheriff Mike Herrell pointed out, this is "yet another example of the vacuum of leadership and management experience" from Scott. Scott went from corporal to sergeant to Sheriff in 60 days and has no command or managerial experience on his resume. Franklin County's residents deserve experienced leadership in the sheriff's office. That's why we need to help Mike Herrell get elected.

For updates on events and grassroots activities of coming weeks please check our weekly e-calendar.

Sincerely,

Doug Preisse Brad Sinnott
Chairman, Executive Committee Chairman, Central Committee

(By the way, remember that Ohio straw poll? That $25 we each donated is being used to support Romney. Fukc the Ohio GOP.)

I called. They said they

I called. They said they offered funds to all the candidates. I told them our Party Chairman in Conway AR does not state which Republican he wants to win, and is neutral, and I thought the National Chairman was very wrong not to be neutral and should not have said what he said, and I hope he gets blowback from more than just me, regarding it. I told them there are two Republicans still in the race and he was wrong to show bias. Oh well. They did not sound like they cared what I had to say.
