Hollande is truth-in-advertising. Sarkozy is a socialist too.

Hollande at least is unabashed about it.

That was basically a preview of Obamney.

Likes attract. Meet the New Boss, same as the old boss.

(Hollande’s “special adviser” is none other than Manuel Valls, a former Freemason and 2008 Bilderberg attendee.)

Meet the New Boss: French President is Another Bilderberg Stooge
Francois Hollande is a committed globalist
Paul Joseph Watson - Monday, May 7, 2012

The mass media is promulgating the notion that the election of Socialist French President Francois Hollande represents some kind of massive sea change and is a direct challenge to the European Union, and yet Hollande’s past and the people he surrounds himself with confirms the fact that he is merely another committed globalist and an enthusiastic supporter of the dictatorial EU’s sovereignty-stripping ethos.
------
Hollande is merely another creature of the establishment and an enthusiastic pro-European superstate globalist. He supported the 1992 Maastricht Treaty, the document which outlined the introduction of the euro single currency and was itself based on a 1955 Bilderberg blueprint. Hollande also supported the European Constitution in a 2005 referendum despite most of his socialist allies voting against it.

Hollande is the former spokesman for ex-French President Lionel Jospin, another committed globalist who attended the Bilderberg Group meeting in 1996.

At least

they won't be bailing out the bankster with austerity cuts with this guy!

Which is the reason for the cuts, there as well as here!

LOL

Of course they will. Wait and see.

And the cuts had started long before the latest recession.

Anyone else find it amazingly

Anyone else find it amazingly arrogant that the first thing a new leader of France gets is a summons (sorry, invitation) to come and see the President of the United States?

I hope he tells Obama that visiting foreign countries is not on his list of priorities right now.

No that's pretty normal. It's

No that's pretty normal. It's normal to have a round of visits and discussions with a new president. He's visiting Merkel as well. It doesn't mean anything, just protocol.

Normal LyingDutchman? Why didn't

...the new dear leader of North Korea stop by after his old man died?

Yes, comparing North Korea to

Yes, comparing North Korea to France makes a lot of sense. It really does.

Yea I know that the custom

Yea I know that the custom has become normal over time but I still find it creepy. I don't think Washington really thinks of France and Germany as independent nations as much as they should. Washington's apparent disbelief in the sovereignty of other nations is one reason why we're in so much trouble.

True.. it's impossible to

True.. it's impossible to know where the courtesy ends and the collusion starts. The UN was orignally meant as a body to sort of regulate that and make it more transparent. Well, that failed miserably of course, but I think you're overestimating the amount of control Washington has a bit.

There's a lot of influence, sure but France and Germany are definitely independent countries in their own right. France is probably the most anti-US country in the EU. They move against the US at least as much as with it. Dig a little into their history with Iraq and you'll see.

In international affairs there's no such thing as control, just influence, it's one big grey area and it's all pretty shady. Why do you think people yearn for a one world government and system? Murky international politics.

"I think you're

"I think you're overestimating the amount of control Washington has a bit."

You might be right. I know France was pretty independant and I remember when O'Reilly was calling for a boycott of French products and calling for French fries to be renamed Freedom fries lol. But since Sarkozy has been in France seemed to act like the little American lapdog puppet Britain more than her usual independant self.

Hopefully they''' quit following Uncle Sam off a cliff. Maybe they'll even free themselves of the dollar hegemony.

Lol I remember that too... we

Lol I remember that too... we had a good laugh about ol'Bill, as we usually do over here. Btw, the French had major dealings with Iraq, even during the embargoes, so don't think for a minute their hands are clean.

I don't follow French news much. I just plain don't like em ;) But I've travelled there a lot troughout the years.

But I do know Sarkozy was pretty right wing for France, which is a very leftist country historically. So he's bound to be more in line with US policies anyway. If you're thinking about Libya, it was actually Sarkozy and Cameron taking the lead on it and the US very reluctant to join in.

Anyway Hollande represents a change back to the France of old. They're really proud of the welfare system they can't afford (their national debt is staggering, private debt is high) and large parts of the country are economically not very productive (read: wasteland). But at least they still have their French pride.

Hollande most likely coming to see Obama for tips

on how to get opressive legislation like the NDAA passed without the people getting bent. He's probably also very jealous of obamas ability to use drones to kill anyone on earth at whim.

The Emperor summoning a

The Emperor summoning a recalcitrant puppet-ruler. I suspect his majesty is not amused at all this French talk about going off the dollar reservation.

Wouldn't it be awesome if Hollande actually stood up to him and told him that France will run her own policies from now on?

And...

Hey, wouldn't it be great if pigs could fly?

Let aside the interests of the French or those that Hollande represents -- if there's one thing you learn while passing through the normative apparatshik machine you need to pass through to get where he got, it's which arse to lick and which to kick.

Sad but true I suppose. Won't

Sad but true I suppose. Won't be too many lining up to go to the White House and suck up to him after the dollar crashes though.

...

Swapping socialist ideas most likely.

Plotting the Dollar's Demise

....I suspect.
