I Don't Think That A Bunch Of People
are voting for Santorum or Gingrich...I believe that the GOP is using Ron Paul votes and counting them as Santorum or Gingrich votes...
Essentially splitting the Ron Paul votes between 3 people...
I don't think so...
I am not one to always condemn voter fraud allegations, but honestly I do not think this is voter fraud sadly. People really are just ignorant here. I think a lot of it has to do with early voting maybe, but if there was any voter fraud it was minimum. People really like Santorum and Gingrich here and would vote for them as an anti-Romney vote. I just wish that Santorum's name would have never been on the ballot because it was technically never supposed to be because he did not have the required signitures... That is where the most fraud is! However, without campaigning here, it was all up to a couple hundred Ron Paul activists to get the word out and we did as much as we could. I am dissapointed in a way, but also realizing A LOT of people are becoming sensitive to this message of liberty! So, Do not let this hinder your excitement! We are a Democrat/ Neoconservative mid-west state. Also, a lot of Democrats (Union) chose a Republican ballot I think and voted against Dr. Paul because they new he has a chance to beat Romney. Who knows... That is my perception of everything though.
Just another person trying to change the world... :)
yup
I been saying that since the beginning. The votes are being counted in Spain and the company got bought out by George Soros. Votes are rigged. don't let this stuff get to you. Become a delegate
I agree
that's why i hate popular votes. Votes can be rigged easily. People on the other hand cannot be rigged so easily.
The chosen one can't crack
The chosen one can't crack 70%....that's a real vote of confidence...
i can't believe how stupid these people are
still voting for santy and gingrich after they have been gone for a long time. shows alot don't like romney, but to give your vote to someone who isn't even running? i can't explain it.
It actually shows that people
It actually shows that people have no clue who is running and just fill out names they recognize. I bet there is a correlation between the number of name drops on the MSM and votes in the primary. This is why we are winning the caucus states, because WE HAVE REAL SUPPORT. If the MSM mentioned Paul in the same light as the others we would have had this wrapped up months ago.
"The economy's not a class you can master in college. To think otherwise is the pretense of knowledge."
It just shows you why the
It just shows you why the delegate process is important because most voters are uniformed brainwashed Zombies. Their votes shouldn't even count.
if Ron Paul had dropped out
but his name was still on the ballot, wouldn't you vote for him instead of one of the other guys still in the race?
Yes
What's great about voting for (or rooting for, thus far) Ron Paul is that you're voting for someone / a cause, not just against someone, or his/her cause. I will vote for Romney if he's the nominee (unless he gets worse...not impossible) to vote against Obama, but I'd rather for for Dr. Paul.
That's why his supporters are more engaged. Antipathy (not just "hate" but ANY opposing force) isn't very motivating. The irony is that "Dr. No" winds up being FOR a lot more: FOR Freedom, FOR the resulting prosperity. He tends to paint a picture: possibilities.
I hope you join us in voting FOR Ron Paul in November,
No matter what. That means as the Nominee or as a write-in.
Please watch "Romney Obama the Same?" youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IWDJEc92d38 and "What if "they" are wrong about Ron Paul?" youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0fZliGQROqU&feature=related and "Ron Paul: Alone No More" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ebgph_ToT40&feature=related Excellent!!!
Well worth everyone's time - please pass them on! Thanks :-)
I'll check it out later, but...
...I believe in the long-strategy of trying to rebuild the Republican Party to make it more pro-liberty, rather than going third party, splitting the right, and risking more consolidation of the left (like what happened when we got the Federal Reserve & Woodrow Wilson).
If Mitt doesn't keep pissing me off, and is the nominee, I'll likely give him the vote. If he makes more comments like raising the minimum wage being OK if it's indexed to inflation (i.e. small, regularized union handouts is OK), I'll drop him like a sack full of Obama's bad ideas.
Voting for a suspended candidate =/= ignorance!
In 2008, I voted for Mitt Romney, even though he had already suspended his campaign before Texas voted. (His platform is pretty much the same, but after Obama's huge spending hikes, that's even weaker, and I don't trust him to repeal ObamaCare. I'd rather have $1 Trillion in cuts Year One.)
Only 2-3% of Texas GOP primary voters went for Romney. My thinking was, he's still who I'd prefer, and I did NOT want McCain (the elite protection candidate who trampled my free speech rights and thought himself entitled to the Presidency due to war service).
KABC (Los Angeles)
said Mitt Romney will win because he "really has no competition" (in a news insert, not a commentary talk show).
How do you know?
if people are voting for Santorum and gingrich?
When do the results come out?
voting is done and 29% of totals have been reported
http://www.cnn.com/election/2012/primaries/state/in
Right now, Romney has 64%, Paul and Santorum each have 14%, and Gingrich has 7%.
I'm hearing there are still
I'm hearing there are still available delegate slots we can fill in Indiana, but only have a week or so to fill them. find out more: http://www.dailypaul.com/229649/5-08-2012-indiana-primary-th...

If you don't
campaign in a state.. I guess you won't win that state against someone that gets all the media attention.... Santorum in getting a heck of a lot of votes...

So frustrating...
...that Santorum and Gingrich are still on the ballot. People know they dropped, right? I'm assuming they are trying to make a statement by still voting for them.
The only statement they can make is Yes sir may I have another?
seriously wtf?

well atleast Paul has pulled ahead now as the results are coming in, sheesh.
LOL!
Did you make that?

Paul pulling ahead?
Where are you getting your results. I'm seeing him way behind.
Surfexplorer
sorry, pulling ahead of Larry and Curly, not Moe...
Moe magically has 65% 5+/- in every county because in Indiana they are all one evenly distributed monolithic block, with not a single pocket of free thinking people in any particular county in the state. Because that's possible...
Voted in Charlotte
I voted for RP earlier today in Charlotte, along with my best friend, who is now a Paul supporter. I know 2 other women in my bible study voted Paul this morning, my parents voted for RP today (because of me), my brother and his wife, and my husband is voting right now. So at least 9 people that I know voted for liberty today in North Carolina!
that's COOL
thanks

constant flow in evansville, IN
the people didn't stop coming and going. i worked the poll handing out a slate of "small govt people" included Kristi Risk and Mourdock which was great because a person telling others to vote for Risk and Mourdock so it felt like they were setting people up and all i had to do was hand them the paper and they would just vote for everyone on it. I think the repitition is good, especially for the old people. A lot of old people voting and very few young people. the most frustrating thing to hear is people say i would have voted for Paul but I thought he was out. ugh, morons. anyways, i hope they read his name on my paper and realized he was still in it. Would have helped if he would have visited our state but CA and TX are more important.
one bad thing is
that you had to declare if your a dem or rep. and if you chose dem then you don't get to vote for Paul. So while it is an open primary and i have told democrats they could vote for Paul i don't think they would have signed up for republican. I don't think being an open primary has helped as much as people think. I told my mom ahead of time and told her to sign up as republican. so thats one at least.
In 2008, Indiana held their
In 2008, Indiana held their primary after Huckabee and Romney had dropped out, and McCain won about 78% of the vote. If the current totals hold, Romney will have only won with 64%. Shows how Romney is even weaker than McCain.

that vote took place...
3 months after Romney dropped out and 2 months after Huckabee dropped out. That certainly has something to do with it, too.
