Rick Santorum endorsed Mitt Romney via email on Monday

"Rick Santorum suspended his campaign for president almost a month ago, and had held off on endorsing the presumed Republican front-runner, Mitt Romney. He sent an email out to his supporters late Monday evening telling his supporters that the fight against President Obama needed to be "all hands on deck". The endorsement of Romney was buried deeply within his sentiment filled message.
Santorum shared that he had a meeting with Mitt Romney on Friday in Pittsburgh. During the meeting (which lasted for over an hour), Santorum discussed with Romney the reasons he had held back on an endorsement.
I felt that it was completely impossible for me to even consider an endorsement until after a meeting to discuss issues critical to those of us who often feel our voices are not heard by the establishment: social conservatives, tea-party supporters, lower and middle income working families.

After talking to Romney, huh?
Pretty sad. He looked rather defeated in that picture, too. He's given up. Too bad he didn't endorse Ron Paul, and decided to support someone who he should know can't be trusted farther than he can be tossed.
Hope more Santorum supporters think for themselves and look into Ron Paul. Even if they don't agree with everything Ron Paul says, they can still recognize a kindred spirit.
