they vote for Murdoch over Lugar but Romney over Paul. Talk about not being consistent.

My letter to Dick the weasel ~Wed 11/19/2008

Senator Richard G. Lugar,

Thank you for responding to my protestations about the bailout.

In your 3 page letter, you cite the 1979 Chrysler bailout legislation created by you and you proudly beam of it as if a baby boy who potty trains a year earlier than all the others. Turned a profit, you say?
Will you be so proud when your baby boy grows up into a thousand pieces of legislation causing the government to become the funding arm of all surviving businesses in America? In Lugarland, the business focus on providing the best product efficiently will change to writing the best grant or loan proposal.
Will you be so, so proud to have spread the virus that kills Laissez Faire on this planet? The French President is already talking about Capitalism being dead, thanks to you and yours.

Already the bailout legislation you support so heartily is proved a lie. The promised transparency is a lie. Y'all got it passed under false pretenses, buying toxic mortgages, and now you are going to use it to socialize businesses from sea to shining sea.
Yoo, hoo. We noticed.

We all know that saving for a rainy day is a good responsible thing, that debt is risky and to be avoided, when possible, and if Americans had savings, this crisis would not be a crisis. Yet your decades long course of action is for banks to pile even more staggering debt onto overextended desperate citizens facing unemployment, unusable bankruptcy laws and "oops, too late", the loss of their investments. Let me guess, it was either this or make us all buy 700 billion dollars in lottery tickets?
Lugar, you have to know this is textbook Fascist Socialism. Where do you stop? Banking, insurance, manufacturing, construction, service industries? You already have the huge military, spread worldwide, huge government bureaucracy, fire and police, education, post offices, utilities, NASA, etc. You can't stop it of course once you start expanding it. Haven't you ever read G. Washington? He told you that what you are doing is akin to fire. Fire spreads and you're going to get us all burned.

History may show that the one to have sparked the most powerful Fascist state in the history of the world is Senator Richard G. Lugar, from Indiana.

I have a question for all the

I have a question for all the other senators. Anybody else want to vote against our 2nd ammendment rights?

One Neo Con being replaced by

One Neo Con being replaced by another, yawnnnn.

There is no Left or Right -- there is only freedom or tyranny. Everything else is an illusion, an obfuscation to keep you confused and silent as the world burns around you." - Philip Brennan

It is a small victory.

I voted today for Mourdock, a tea party neo con who is about 50% libertarian to replace a dinosaur, Nixon-like neo con who is about 10% libertarian.

In the fall election, I will vote for Andy Horning who is 100% Libertarian.

This is how we take over the Republican Party!

Even if Dr. Paul comes short of the White House this year, in four years, we want so many Rand Pauls in the Senate and so many Ron Pauls in the House of Representatives that WE will be the establishment.

Mourdock endorsed Rand's budget plan, term limits

Mourdock endorsed Rand Paul's budget plan:

He also supports a Fed audit and has signed a written pledge to join Rand Paul in cosponsoring Sen. Jim Demint's Congressional term limits amendment bill.

I lke the sound of that

what was lugar's deal?

Im unfamiliar with him, why was he bad?

wasn't a foreign aid bill and a war that this scum bag wasn't for. Totally an internationalist UN all the way... A real non pro-american senator... Hid as a conservative on the abortion issue and gun control while being a liberal on many other issues. He screwed up when he backed the UN's small arms treaty!!!!!
amongst the bailouts and supporting the banksters....a real liberal in a conservative state....

You could say...

He was Obama's favorite Republican. He is the king of farming subsidies and has jumped on board with Obama on everything. People were pretty angry when they found out he has not lived in Indiana in over 20 years. Mourdock is ALOT better on fiscal issues, but he still needs A LOT of education of foreign policy. I will be contacting him as often as possible. :) Enjoy your retirement Lugar! :p

Just another person trying to change the world... :)

Career politician

establishment lackey.

Another one bites the dust!!!!

Some see things as they are and say why,but i dream things that never were and say why not. Robert F. Kennedy

I like one thing about Richard Mourdock...

"Accountability for the Federal Reserve and Promoting Sound Monetary Policy

Richard supports efforts to require an audit of the Federal Reserve as a means of ensuring accountability. Richard also believes that the Federal Reserve should narrowly focus its efforts on promoting stability and strengthening the dollar rather than attempting to artificially control such economic factors as employment levels and interest rates. He opposes the Fed’s program of so-called “quantitative easing.”"

...bamm...boom!!! Another one goes down!

Just sent out an email of thanks for all that helped in the process of ousting him.
One down, many more to go.

I love my country
I am appalled by my government

Politico: Dick Lugar routed in Senate showdown

By BILL NICHOLS | 5/8/12 5:32 PM EDT Updated: 5/8/12 7:57 PM EDT

Sen. Dick Lugar trailed badly with over one-third of the vote counted Tuesday night as Indiana voters seemed poised to make a seismic shift in their political culture by sending a man who had been a Hoosier institution for nearly four decades to a once unthinkable primary defeat.

Lugar’s seemingly uphill battle against Indiana state Treasurer Richard Mourdock, his tea-party-backed challenger, is the marquee race on a primary day that also featured contests in West Virginia, North Carolina and Wisconsin.

Good riddance to that terminal warmonger. I supposed were

scheduled to pay for that load until the day we die.

Actually, Lugar wasn't all

Actually, Lugar wasn't all bad. He has earned the ire of the Zionists quite often. He was one of the least reflexively pro_Israel senators.

So if Jews don't like him he must be OK?

C'mon... Sen. Lugar was a big spending senator and part of the bipartisan foreign policy consensus over the last 30+ years. He is precisely the kind of establishment Republican we aim to replace. The fact he has periodically "earned the ire of the Zionists" is only a persuasive endorsement to those whose hatred of Jews subsume all their other principles.

Maybe Lugar lost...

because AIPAC and the Christian Zionists backed his opponent.

Minnesota Mary

Never mind the door hitting him on the way out

Give him a good "BOOT" in the arse for all of us! Yeah!
