They are so afraid of him (us)!

Considerations for the 2012 U.S. Presidential Race from the Mind of a Political Independent-Use this tool to educate the unconverted and prove support for Dr. Paul among Independents.

Priceless Look

The look on Cavuto's face on the video placeholder looks like he just backed up over his puppy in the driveway!

He must be thinking "why do they have ME jam up Ron Paul all the time?".

Rights are like muscles; you must exercise them to keep them fit, or they will atrophy and die.

I really really like this

I really really like this man! I really do. Nobody has affected my political and economic views as much as much this guy has done. Go Ron!

friends like Cavuto who needs enemies. Who Ya Voting For?? Herculean Leap?? I could jump over Mitt Romney on my knees and half-asleep. RP2012 Faux Sux Now In A New Morgue Type OverTone WINNING!!

9/11 was an inside job .....time to get some answers..RP 2012

After I watched this video

After I watched this video clip, I had to share it on my fb wall to show my liberal friends his stance on these kinds of social issues. Too many people remain disinformed about where he stands on these issues because 'he is still a republican'... Well atleast that is what is said, when in reality they have no idea of what true conservatism/liberalism are all about. I swear people arre so backwards in their thinking. Why liberals would push for the legislation of any personal social behavior, I will never understand. This is a great video to share to help open up some minds.

Funny how the meaning of 'liberal' has changed

There are 3 strains:

(1) classic liberalism (J.S. Mill) which is close to today's libertarianism;

(2) the European liberals(disparagingly called neo-liberals), who are unknowing socialists in Keynesian disguise and who play a centrist political role and get called 'filthy capitalists' by the even more unknowing European Left;

(3) the US liberals, who have come to look very much like the European neo-liberals with a mixture of the European centre-right (playing the role of 'conservatives') and the centre-left, who like to call themselves 'social-democrats'.

You cannot imagine what an idiotic political scene we have here. Very few libertarians, I'm afraid, all of them for Ron Paul. His message is our only hope, really. And it does resound across Europe - but not enough, yet...

this is ABSOLUTELY the

this is ABSOLUTELY the correct position on this subject. its the only truly "liberal" one as well, though if you told that to someone who aligns themselves on the left, they'd scoff a hairball at you.

"civil unions" or "domestic partnerships" are NO DIFFERENT, conceptually, than "separate but equal" from the Jim Crow Laws. They're taking a group of people, putting them into their own, defined bucket, and going, "you can have your benefits, but you can't be the same as us 'normal', 'straight', good christian people. Its sickening. The fight, nationwide, should not be to simply legalize gay marriage, it should be to abolish ANY parameters or distinctions. True progress on this will never come until you do so (see: 19th amendment, repeal of Jim Crow Laws). Discrimination or prohibition of any kind only perpetuates contempt. Social change has to happen naturally. You cannot legalize "open-mindedness"...

NYS Blue Republican. Soon to be Independent.

you have a presidential

you have a presidential candidate on your show and you think the best conversation should be:

1) when are you dropping out
2) are you going to run 3rd party? (you're son said you won't)

no bias embedded there at all!

- Grow Mushrooms at Home

I'm still voting for you too Dr. Paul!

Only I'm voting for you all the way no natter what happens!

I will write in Ron Paul until the bitter end.

Also, he was completely correct on the dumbass gay marriage issue. The state should stay out of marriage at every level.

It's a voluntary agreement between individuals.

If people want legal terms written up beforehand, then go ahead and hire an attorney and do it.

If they want some entity to sanction it, then use a church or a judge or a justice of the peace or a preacher or a friend etc.

They could agree to let ANY-one oversee their marriage.

Or NO-one if they just want to DECLARE themselves married.

It's a NON-ISSUE being used as a distraction.

While the central bankers rape us daily with wars, inflation, regulations, taxes, monetary manipulation, and servitude (through government influence over our personal economic lives).

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."

Well put... and 100% true.

Aside from Cavuto being a d**k in this interview...

Ron Paul's answer & laugh at the end was priceless! I just adore this man... ;)

I still remember the exchange

I still remember the exchange Ron Paul had with the media whore Cavuto back in 2007. Clueless as ever.
Neil Cavuto: Yeah but, you can't, Congressman, we've got a pretty good economy going here, right? We've got productivity soaring. We've got retail sales that are strong. We've got corporate earnings that for, what, the 19th quarter, are up double digit? We've got a market chasing highs, I mean, this isn't happening in a vacuum, right?
Ron Paul: Yeah, that's nice, but when you have to borrow, you know... My personal finances would be very good if I borrowed a million dollars every month. But, someday, the bills will become due.

Cavuto Please Stay Relevant

Cavuto there were good times but definitely you are sounding more like the OLD MEDIA everytime, can't you just let go? Don't you have internet ? Please please please educate yourself and stop asking stupid questions. How about this, you asked Ron Paul for say 20 times now, Is it fair for you to ask Mitt The Ripper Tomorrow the same questions as you do Ron Paul you know just to balance the interview a little bit. I know you have a job at FOX but please don't loose your soul, have some dignity a bit. When you change for the better the perception of the masses will change. It's not too late. Ron Paul 2012 !!!

"When the people fear the government, there is tyranny. When the government fears the people, there is liberty."

it all before. Once the public is convinced, they shower them with what could have been. No faith in old media is a good thing.

Peace and God Bless

You have legs, use them.

"Who would you vote for?" " I'm still voting for myself!"

What a great comeback. Is it any wonder we want Dr. Paul for our President?

business channel? as in money and monitary policies?

And Neil is asking The Doctor, who is leading the charge to "Mend or End the Federal Reserve", something about Oblablas's attraction towards Gay Marriage?
The media is so out of touch.
How about some REAL issues.
"Politics as Usual"
Rmoney flips and flops who cares about what he says because it changes constantly.
Yes, what a waste of the Doctor's time.

Who the hell gives two poops

Who the hell gives two poops about Gary Johnson? The guy seems nice and all but he's an absolute ignoramus on foreign policy, practically a Clintonite.

No real libertarian should have any business supporting him as far as I'm concerned.

ron paul is a once in a lifetime candidate

ron paul is the standard that all others will be judged by, even his son who is no ron paul if you know what i mean. if the choice is mitt, barry or gary i will enthusiastically choose gary even though he is not perfect. if your holding out for another ron paul don't hold your breath.

Rand Paul 2016

Certainly NOT holding out for

Certainly NOT holding out for another because there ain't gonna be (and it CERTAINLY ain't Rand by a hundred miles), but I will NEVER cast a vote for Barry OR Gary. Voting is for fools as far as I'm concerned. It's an act of aggression. Paul is a glaring exception, but the ONLY one.

you're right but

i would like to see the libertarians get enough votes to be in the debates and also qualify for like 50 million in funding next go round. it would definitely help wake some people up. when i was around 20 years old harry browne helped wake me up after seeing him on cspan back before the internet was the internet.

“One of the penalties for refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors.” Plato

Rand Paul 2016

I get what you're saying but

I get what you're saying but I don't think Plato's assertion there necessarily has to be so. I subscribe more to the great Lysander Spooner's view on voting:

"...man finds himself environed by a government that he cannot resist; a government that forces him to pay money, render service, and forego the exercise of many of his natural rights, under peril of weighty punishments. He sees, too, that other men practise this tyranny over him by the use of the ballot. He sees further that, if he will but use the ballot himself, he has some chance of relieving himself from this tyranny of others, by subjecting them to his own. In short, he finds himself, without his consent, so situated that, if he use the ballot, he may become a master; if he does not use it, he must become a slave. And he has no other alternative than these two. In self-defence, he attempts the former. His case is analogous to that of a man who has been forced into battle, where he must either kill others, or be killed himself. Because, to save his own life in battle, a man attempts to take the lives of his opponents, it is not to be inferred that the battle is one of his own choosing. Neither in contests with the ballot -- which is a mere substitute for a bullet -- because, as his only chance of self-preservation, a man uses a ballot, is it to be inferred that the contest is one into which he voluntarily entered; that he voluntarily set up all his own natural rights, as a stake against those of others, to be lost or won by the mere power of numbers. On the contrary, it is to be considered that, in an exigency, into which he had been forced by others, and in which no other means of self-defense offered, he, as a matter of necessity, used the only one that was left to him."

Herculean leap?

I think Neil is wrong about that. If Paul keeps getting delegates the way he is it will be very easy, not a leap at all. Just a small tiny step. The MSM better stop lying.

Well At Least

Neil said "Herculean leap" instead of "there is no way". Maybe Neil is slowly coming around. I just wish he would ask the good doctor about something that really matters. Like ending the Fed or bringing our troops home. I know, how about our liberty that we are losing.

Neil is still in the DARK

Neil is still in the DARK SIDE. Old Media is just entertainment and propaganda, Ron Paul is still giving them some relevance, but please out of respect for the good Dr. and his millions of supporters young and old. Please ask relevant questions, we are way past through flip flopper Mitt. Issues, issues, issues that's what you need to report to stay alive in this very competitive media environment. Cable News viewership is way way down. No one is watching anymore because they know that all MSM is answerable to their masters, they can't have an honest opinion. Heck MSM media even are afraid to be interviewed. Ron Paul will Shock Tampa !!!

Cavuto tries and tries to entice Ron Paul into difficulty,...

and like every other time, Cavuto loses.

Thanks for the post.

Dr. Paul did a great job

deflecting Cavuto's traps. Fox really wants to brand Dr. Paul as a libertine libertairan.

Exactly right

I'm ashamed at myself for thinking Cavuto might not be as bad as I once suspected. He's certainly better than Hannity and O'Liarly but I think he's there to try to sneak attack Dr Paul from a different angle (that being the "we're civil to each other, right? Now slip up when I ask you a question about endorsing Romney or running 3rd party"). Cavuto has lost any respect he built up with me. Another shill.

Agreed. I used to think

Agreed. I used to think better of him. I was wrong.
