I would really have to question his competency, he should have stoop up admitted it and showed remorse. He could have turned this lemon into lemon aide, he could have come out against school bullying, using this as an example. He could have shown some compassion and empathy, if he is capable of it. We all have done a few things we regretted, but his knee jerk reaction is to lie and claim he can't remember. Sorry GOP, Romney is not electable, he can't win. School kids have been doing mean things to other school kids for hundreds if not thousands of years. If every presidential candidate were held accountable for every single mean thing he did in prep school, 80% of our past presidents would have probably never been allowed to be elected. Bullying is a sensitive social issue and right now there is a lot of negative press against Romney because of a history of bullying, whether perceived or real. Joe average voter will react emotionally to this crap. We need to do anything to get Joe average voter to change his allegiance from Romney to Paul.

Joe average voter doesn't vote in Republican primaries. Any news media criticism of Romney will be interpreted as a good thing by Conservative voters who DO vote in Republican primaries and will therefore strengthen their resolve to see Romney win and actually help them loosen their grip on their nose when they pull the lever for him. At this point the only thing that will help Ron Paul win states is massive grassroots outreach to people in Conservative regions like East Texas.
