Does this mean that those Paul delegates bound for Romney on the first ballot, can ignore the binding and just vote for Paul ?
this is getting interesting,
this explains why Paul campaign is pushing to get as many delegates as possible.

This also explains why the RNC attorney sent the threat letter to Nevada - maybe they know that binding does not matter at the convention and a delegate can vote according to his conscience !
thats why Romney campaign is trying to challenge Maine and Mass. delegate allocation also - they fear Dr.Paul might have enough votes on the first ballot itself !!

Ben Swann deserves a Pulitzer for his work.

I hope the press still respects real journalism even if they largely don't practice it.

Great, but

We already have two other posts (with one over 100 upvotes) already. We probably don't need a third.

Then again, perhaps this news is so big that it can't be contained in a single thread. ;)

That letter is pretty convincing...

...there's no way around the fact that the legal council for the RNC clearly stated that each delegate is unbound, and that has nothing to do with the unit rule and RNC rule 38. Interesting.

Wow...

A must-watch. Thanks posting!
