Since when did 3 states decide an election?

People this is far from over! There are still 47 states to go. Fred Thompson is at the end of his rope, Huckabee will soon be broke. Soon others from the Democat side will be out. We must redouble our efforts. We must work even harder than ever to spread the message of Ron Paul. We have shown we can raise an awsome amount of money. Now lets use that same effort and take the message to the street, directly to the people!

when Dole stopped Buchanan in SC.
in 2000, Bush scuttled McCain in SC.
Also in 2000, Gore only needed Iowa and NH to end Bradley's campaign.
in 2004, Kerry ended Dean's chances in NH.
Insurgent candidates (Buchanan, McCain, Bradley, Dean) need momentum like oxygen. When they lose it, the campaign dies.

it's about momentum
not about the number of states. i tried to convince somebody today to vote for dr paul. he likes dr paul, he agrees with him, he will love to vote for him BUT he won't. why? because, according to my friend, he cannot win.
i told him to watch new hampshire.
i don't know what i will tell him tomorrow.

Ask your friend if he voted for Bush? Does he regret his vote now?
Remind your friend that voting is secret and voting for the winner gets you absolutely nothing except shame when that winner turns into a loser.
Voting for the best man so you can be proud of your vote is the only way to go.
ask him if he supports thompson.
ask him why he is so easily swayed by public opinion.

sadly, on the inside i think it may be over for paul. Of course i reserve my hopes and dreams that he wins every single state on the 5th, unfortunately, it seems that 3 states do decide the election. we are 35th in education world-wide and this contributes to the way people follow iowa and nh like sheep. they are literally voting into office the same forces that are causing the problems they want them to fix!

The point is though, as stats are used, 3 states can start to show trends, etc. I am not telling anyone anything in this group. So - you cannot go thru the first 10 states and say "Oh, but we can still kill them in the last states" and here is why. If there was a plan for Iowa and a plan for New Hampshire and Ron Paul did not win, you cannot just say 'We have to double our efforts" without explaining and executing what that means. Define doubling efforts. Which efforts? When? What activities? How much more money do we need to raise? Sorry, if i learned nothing else from all those boring classes it was - you need a solid step by step plan that everyone understands. And one hallmark of this campaign is that the grassroots people are learning as they go. This is not a well-oiled machine from what i can see. It is all fine and good to just say Huckabee will run out of money, but - who is driving this bus? Who has the super duper master plan and can SEE the entire landscape?
I don't do foot soldier worker ant feed me shit and keep me in the dark very well anymore - i did that for 30 years. Now i ask questions. I don't expect answers but i ask anyway. Nothing is worse than opened ended effort when you have no effing clue what the result will be. It sucks because you don't even know what you are doing, how to correct, etc.. Go ahead and poo poo me all you want, i know my words have merit. Example, i wrote those 200 letters. and i have ZERO clue of the result. I assume the result was zero, for that is all i can do. First rule of marketing you have to be able to measure your efforts! If they are measuring they are not telling me - but they want more from me. I am not going to pretend i don't have more ego-driven goals than that.

You ask how much money to donate? Donate enugh money to buy shirts, buttons, and ecspecially slim jims. Second go to your local malls, and other places with alot of traffic of people, hand out these slim jims to people offer to answer any questions that they have to the best of your ablity or tell them why you would give up your free time to do this. Talking to people face-to-face is a powerful tool,much better than mailing letters without any idea if they work The main point is for us to get off our butts and get to work. Everyone says that campaign isn't doing a good job, ok do something yourself. How about this; with all the meet up groups we have, local groups should pull their resources toghether find some of the best ads and pay to play them locally! I am only offering suggestions
