West Virginia Delegates were

West Virginia Delegates were selected May 8th as there nominating process is a direct election. I heard that we may very well have secured delegates but can not find all of the totals. Ill have to look into it.

To arms! To arms! The Redcoats are coming!

Paul ran 28 delegates in WV

but none of them won. There were 5 delegates who are officially uncommitted to any candidate (and who won despite that). So it's technically possible that they could vote for Paul. I believe most are well known names in the Republican party in the state and as such one could expect they'd be inclined to vote for Romney. But you never know.

there's no state convention

At least, if there is one, it has nothing to do with delegates. They directly elected 28 delegates on Tuesday (their names were on the ballot next to their presidential preference). 21 of the winners were pledged to Romney. 2 were pledged to Santorum. 5 were officially uncommitted (chose not to list a preference next to their name on the ballot). The only other 3 delegates in the state are 3 unbound party leaders. There are no more delegate spots to be gained. The actual flesh and blood delegates have been chosen.

from green papers;
Tuesday 22 May - Wednesday 23 May 2012 (tentative): The New York Republican State Committee will meet to elect the 34 at-large delegates who are bound according to the results of the primary.

who are these delegates and do they pick alternates?

No One But Ron Paul 2012!

they pick delegates and alternates

I'm not exactly sure who they choose from. It will likely be party leaders and well known individuals who have been part of the Republican party for a while. They will all be committed to Romney. It's not a situation where they're looking for random individuals to choose from and where a bunch of Paul supporters can sneak in.

Thanks for the info. :)

No One But Ron Paul 2012!

Sorry that it's not what you

Sorry that it's not what you were hoping to hear.

Researching WV

I shall look into West Virginia now, but will keep the convention and stake delegates as listed for now.

I promise I'm not messing with you

Just go to http://www.thegreenpapers.com/P12/WV-R for confirmation.

I will take West Virginia off the list now. However, if something is shown fro http://thereal2012delegatecount.com/ that changes the matter, I will post West Virginia accordingly.

that site is not very accurate

The information you'll find on The Green Papers is much, much more accurate. The site you're referencing there is full of mistakes regarding delegate allotment.

However, I am not a delegate.Someone in here that knows more about this than me could you please tell me how or if I can help at my state convention?I'd run through a wall for Ron Paul!lol;)

Ron Paul 2012

You may be able to attend the convention . I was online earlier today and found out my state has it's convention in a nearby area in the capital. See if your event will be held in Springfield, and see if tickets are available for the event.

Please help if you know about New York!!!

I've been researching relentlessly, and still can't seem to find out if I can do anything to assist in New York. I know that I'm past the filing deadline to be part of a Ron Paul slate here, but does anyone know what I'd have to do to be able to vote for the current Ron Paul slate? (Forms, fees, etc...)

nothing can be done about New York

There's not a convention to choose delegates. The delegates are chosen by the winning campaign (already selected the 58 CD delegates) and a state committee (will select the 34 at-large delegates in a couple weeks). They will all be hand-picked Romney supporters.

What about CT and VT?

That's where my sisters live. They'd be more than happy to help given the opportunity...

CT definitely out

Romney picks the delegates there. Vermont has a convention though. Most of the delegates there are bound to Romney but some are bound to Paul.

You missed Texas State convention

June 7-9th

Do your best have no expectations

Unlisted State Convention Dates

The source has the Texas State Convention date, along with other remaining primary states, unlisted. The dates for the remaining primaries are listed instead. Thank you for mentioning the Texas State Convention date.

If anyone can tell me the state convention date of a PRIMARY state, I will list it accordingly.

Great job!

Thank you so much. I NEEDED THIS LIST!!!!

On June 5th South Dakota has

On June 5th South Dakota has a primary not a state convention.

The error has been corrected. Thank you for pointing this out to me.

Thank you for your work on this.
And a great big hug to those who are out there and gettin' it done...I thank you on behalf of my grandchildren.

No Problem

It was no problem. It didn't take me as long as I thought it would to write everything down and organize the events by date. Please post this on your facebook, twitter, email RP supporters you know, and share this forum here on dailypaul.com so others can become aware. Most of the state conventions should be in the capital city of the state.

...thanks for compiling that list, good info.
