RNC Legal Counsel Says Ron Paul National Delegates Are NOT Bound

"The RNC does not recognize a state's binding of national delegates, but considers each delegate a free agent who can vote for whoever they choose. The national convention allows delegates to vote for the individual of their choice, regardless of whether the person's name is officially placed into nomination or not."

Jennifer Sheehan, Legal Counsel for the RNC.

doesnt this mean that Mitt Romney will NOT be the gop nominee? Like... Impossible...? Mitt will water his way with his tears. I can hear him now, "but you promised that if i dropped out to mccain that id get the nod next time... Its not faaayurr..."

We all know what happens when you assume right? Dont let us make the same mistake... Gotv fellow r3volutionaries!!

That was four years ago.

That was four years ago. There was no threat to the Establishment then. The RNC might "consider" something different now. I want in in writing, in plain English, on an official document before I'll be convinced the Establishment won't "recognize" something different this time, when it suits them.

Run, Ron, Run!

Isn't this front page

Isn't this front page already?

If you disagree with me on anything you are not a real libertarian...

We can post this stuff all day

but we'll still have the divide and conquer folks telling us how we'll be 'penalized', or how we should abstain, or how some delegates are bound at a national convention.

It's all about creating doubt. Old school tactic.

Walk without fear. Vote your conscience.

Doubt goes both ways...

"Shhh we have 1300 delegates here at the RNC right now ready to vote for Paul. Are you on our side or not?"

Doubt can also get us Romney delegates that only care about being on the winning side.

and that is all....

Abstain from voting? Been a

Abstain from voting? Been a lot of talk about that lately, but now the issue has been all cleared up like some bad acne. Zitt Romney has been popped.

Why waste your vote by abstaining? Delegates in Tampa can vote for anyone they so choose according to the RNC rules.

Tonight has been such a huge revelation for the rEVOLution for we now know for certain that NO delegate in Tampa Bay is bound to anyone. National delegates do NOT have to follow state rules.

Abstaining would be like giving up the opportunity to vote for Ron Paul. All the delegates have to do is vote for Ron Paul and we win. They are NOT bound at the Republican NATIONAL Convention. They do NOT have to vote for Mitt Romney on the first ballot. The delegates can vote for Saint Andrew, or the Easter Bunny if they so choose.

The consequences...

Each state has different rules. In some states, delegates could be punished by being excommunicated from the republican church if they break ranks...

But if Ron Paul wins, who cares? He's the new Pope.

Don't place your own personal gain within the republican party ahead of what matters most. VOTE FOR RON PAUL on the first ballot in Tampa Bay, let your state TRY to revolk your republican party citizenship after we win.

President "Pope," Ron Paul will give you a party pardon if necessary.

History in the making here everyone, this is so fun!!! AHHHH!

Today was such a great day for Freedom.

"President Paul, President Paul, President Paul, President Paul, President Paul, President Paul, President Paul, President Paul...."

Never be afraid to ask simple questions.

And with a NEW "Pope"

...who believes in state's rights....offenses in another state cannot be prosecuted...no double jeapordy! WHHEEEEEEH! GOOD NEWS!
