I keep seeing posts about Dr. Paul *exposing* the other candidates for who they are... Why go negative?? The other candidates are going to attack each other VISCIOUSLY as they get a chance to appear on TV.
Last night was nothing more or less really than expected. We ARE in a revolution here folks - a peaceful revolution but a revolution no less. We are out to break open the two party establishment and that no mean feat... In fact, it may not even be possible, only time will tell. I disagree also with previous posts that candidates with no money will go away.
Money talks in this election and those running out of money are going to become more and more handicapped. Also consider that as candidates drop out, we will want to pick up their voters which is why we need to run a positive campaign.
NH was TOTALLY BLANKETED with Ron Paul's message so the campaign throwing more money into NH was not going to succeed in generating any more votes - BELIEVE IT - EVERYONE HAS HEARD his message in NH. But the two party system is a hard nut to crack.
The campaign needs to spend money in the states for Super Teusday to overcome his name recognition. I live in Texas and when I talk to people about Dr. Paul its still WHO? or I LOVE HIS MESSAGE BUT HE'S NOT ELECTIBLE... it is a bunker mentality that is killing Ron Paul right now.

Democrats are DETERMINED to get a non-republican in the white house this year, AND CAN YOU BLAME THEM after the performance of the Neo-Con Religeous Right Wing the past eight years - and they are not going to switch to anyone with the label republican... alas its true...
And on the other side of the coin, the 30% Neo-Con religeous right is not going to budge from voting for a republican... its a MEXICAN STANDOFF with Ron Paul caught in the middle...
Its a double edged sword in that its a great time for People to hear Pauls message, BUT ITS A BAD TIME to get anyone to switch from their bunker mentality...
What can we do??? We can continue the course that Dr. Paul has set out. Stay above the fray, dont get involved in attacks on other candidates (they WILL tear themselves to pieces) continue to get the message out and just perhaps/hopefully TWO THINGS will happen to make the public more aware....
As bad as it will be for this country, IF THE WAR GOES BAD, AND IF THE ECONOMY CONTINUES TO SINK then those are Ron Paul's weapons against the masses..... Lets continue to get the word out peacefully and respectfully and time will tell...

I would like to see these things happen.
1.) Have Ron Paul fly in economist's that are for him and stand on stage and speak PLAINLY the truth. Have Ron Paul call a press conference about the SOON impending doom within months of a depression. The neocons use FEAR to manipulate and yet there is a real case of TRUE FEAR that is getting ready to be exploded on the sheeple and they don't know it yet. Get a FIREBRAND economist that can speak boldly to the american public about the dollar collapsing and what this will look like, feel like, be like.
2.) At the Fox debate in S.C. call of those men on the stage out on their LIP SERVICE to the constitution. This will get them all defending themselves and they will be EXPOSED by their own words. Dr. Paul can not let them run over him, he needs to tell them to 'don't interrupt me' and if they do then demand to have equal time to respond. He needs to shout right back at them and also take on Fox too for censoring him.
3.) Get Mary Pride and a group of HOMESCHOOLERS on stage along with alot of christian pastors that say PUBLICLY that 'Huckabee doesn't represent ME'. Have a press conference for this too. Have them all get together and write a letter and sign it and send it to all local South Carolina newspapers.
4.) Finally, get all the minutemen groups and gun groups and have them come together and ENDORSE Ron Paul and say that he is the ONLY ONE that walks his talk and will not give amnesty or take guns away.
The rest of us need to show up and be VOCAL with APPLAUSE for Ron Paul and BOO the others. This will get attention.

Thats what the other campaigns call it. IMHO, the campaign needs to harness and start guiding the grassroots movement more and start coordinating with the supporters, via DailyPaul and other supporter sites. Right now there is too much unorginization. HQ needs to start using the new keyword~ Coordinate.

judging from a distance as far as Europe is hard, but having followed the campaign and its developments for quite some time i think it is safe to argue that there are two important points missing in most arguments:
1. the assumption that candidates will disappear due to lack of money:
This is not going to happen. Remember the posts about Paul and Google Analytics? There is tens of millions of free publicity extra for other candidates. They can thrive on that and seeing the biased behaviour of most media outlets It is safely to say this attitude is not likely going to change.
Also remember that still a large majority of the American people has not 'waken up' to Dr. Paul. This means that no matter the money or lack thereof, they will vote for those candidates presented by the media.
2. the argument that 'we are in it for the whole race':
This is very true and i sincerely wish Paul will at least wake the convention up but rather like to him win the nomination. But, look at the media attention volume. Most candidates are taking a sprint as can be seen during the last two primaries. While it is good to show constant improvement, if in a race you finish low at all the checkpoints (primaries/caucuses) nobody is going to declare you a winner.
Possible solutions:
1, Heads of meetup groups co-ordinating with state headquarters from the campaign about what advertisements are going to run in their state so they can join in with slim jims/rallies on the State/Region important issues. Because local people are always better informed than hired people, no matter their qualities.
2. Media is harder to take. What could be done are infomercials such as in Iowa, but on a national scale. These are a good example of positive one way information (from candidate to voter) in combination with stressing the possibilities to join in on meetup.com or one of the other efforts on the ground. Do this on national broadcasters to gain more national recognition. To my knowledge this has not happened yet in this election cycle.
3. I also believe that indeed supporters ads should be used. Even these can be used with a little editing: Ron Paul: A new Hope (more than 1,000,00 views!) and the ads made or at least published by frankdogg on youtube. These are ads that even appeal to me being not an american. Why not moneydrives to get those ads actually in the air and pay off the copyrights that probably are in place for the first mentioned ad?
I wish you good luck in these times. You will need it. But do take back a step sometimes and look back to see what you have achieved, it is already tremendous! Use that pride, of also your own achievements, and catapult it towards new projects.

I agree with your comment about the candidates without money are getting free advertising by the msm. This is why the HQ needs to buy national infomercial time on the 3 major networks. I also agree that the youtube videos that are very popular should be used.
The YOUTH movement needs to be more highlighted than it has. Remember how the Clintons used the music of Fleetwood Mac to showcase the youthfulness of their message (Don't stop thinking about tomorrow)...in SHARP contrast to Dole's has been Lee Greenwood's (I am proud to be an american). The music is on our side we should use it at campaign events.
Atmosphere has everything to do with attracting supporters, if people sense that this is not the typical campaign they will check it out and learn more about it.

Most of us know from history that tyranny always falls. But usually it takes a lot of corpses. By my reckoning, we have one shot at this with Ron Paul. We have to do this right.
No more BS when you get out there and represent Ron Paul. Are some of you trying to make us look bad? We are trying to win hearts and minds here.

The campaign has not produced
The national campaign has simply shown no ability to make an impact. Everything done so far has been done by volunteers and people spontaneously donating record amounts of money. The message is unique and more importantly the truth. There is zero leadership and no ability to leverage all our advantages. I donated assuming we were in for the win. Apparently I was wrong. Sorry it is bleak but I feel truthful.

I am in Arizona and if it were not for the actions of the Grassroots and the Ron Paul message I would have just been one more non voter, my money and all my time spent so far on this campaign would be for nothing. I am so sick of McCain and the illegal aliens dressed up like rhinestone cowboys at every Home Depot. I am ready to blow chunks. As for the RP Headquarters in my honest opinion they are running around bumping dicks. We have more qualified people in our meet up groups getting paid nothing.

I was suggesting replacement of Kent Snyder long ago when the first campaign commercial came out, only to be blasted for it. Kent Snyder and probably Lew Moore as well are what is holding this campaign back. It's not the "MSM," it's not "manipulated polls," it's not "vote fraud," it's not the NWO, it's not "the elites," it's not Fox News, it's not Sean Hannity, it's not a lack of funding, it's Paul's campaign managers. They're not smart enough to run the campaign properly.
