"the real Oklahoma Republican Party convention occurred after many of the participants had already left. The parking lot convention elected a convention chair who conducted the proceedings with confidence and dignity. After several hours of procedural meandering and roll call votes, the real slate of delegates was selected.
As the parking lot convention waned, participants started cheering and chanting ‘Ron Paul Ron Paul’ and ‘We cannot be bought’, which was an obvious reference to the Romney campaign which has been repeatedly accused of paying people to endorse the Governor and to serve as his delegates. All of this was captured live by a feed that sent the proceedings around the world on the internet."

Of course I am a Paul supporter
Don't you think many of the reporters in the big media are supporters of other candidates? They keep that to themselves, yet their articles reflect their support or especially non-support.
I am watching David Gregory on Meet the Press now. Is there any doubt that he is an Obama supporter? His questions and non questions reflect his beliefs.
A lot of these big outlets are in bed with corporate or various ideological interests that pay their salaries. We in the little press are providing alternative narratives as antidotes to their germs.
My opinion
is very biased towards Ron Paul. And I would much rather read biased reports that favor Ron Paul than the typical biased MSM crap we've been getting for years...
When is the last time that we've had any objective reporters?

The lights just automatically turned off by themselves and the walls moved all by themselves while the people were sitting there and doing what? Serious question.
If you let people walk on you there's a really good chance they will do so over and over again until you put a stop to it in any way that's necessary to do so. This is life. I really hope when RP becomes the nominee that the media doesn't decided to finally report this and assume Dr. Paul's supporters have cheated. but in any instance, This is what happens when you elect a Bad Chairman. In my opinion, I think the GOP will be restored as we try to restore our republic with true conservative ideas backed by the constitution, sound money and liberty. It would be a bigger accomplishment to restore the party and take it back from the crazy neocons.

We keep talking and sharing our ideas with strong conviction. We keep trying no matter what, some of what we do and say should definitely plant the seeds of these ideas, especially if we do it in a way that relates to their situation: they are complaining about rising food prices, gas, education, health care etc?? Then we explain in simple terms why this is, monetary policy and the fiat money problem... Just an example but I've noticed some of what I say provoke thinking in others. Many times I don't even mention the good Dr... I just share ideas. :)

The GOP will become strong again, gain tons of support from new liberty members, and become the top respected party in the country as we all become precinct delegates and restructure the GOP platform.

somebody made a post in here that contained the OKGOP official response/take on what transpired in the room. I doubt that the OKGOP is going to recognize the parking lot convention delegate selection. However, I hope like crazy that the vote of no confidence relating to the OKGOP funding Romney during the primary IS fact. IF there is clear evidence of the funding, then RP should prevail.
What interests me though is whether or not Paul had a majority of delegate support in the convention room?

If we measure our success by whether or not the main stream media portrays our victories as such...then we'll be disappointed time and time again.
