Doug Wead just blogged that we lost Oklahoma?

Would some of you please go read his latest blog and tell me if I'm interpreting it correctly? Haven't we been reading on the DP since yesterday that we won Oklahoma by a landslide?

Just wish he wouldn't call us...

"Romulans". That's a term of derision used by the other side.

Romulans vs. Ronulans

I think he refers to ROMney followers as ROMulans and RON Paul followers as RONulans.

Ron Paul - Honorary Founding Father

Did anyone read the update?

Update: Friends in Oklahoma insist that the convention which continued on the parking lot outside was indeed legal, had the quorum needed, and resulted in another win for Ron Paul. I hope they are right and we need to support that process legally and follow the challenges involved.

Good News

Sounds like the Paul campaign will pursue this...

"If ever time should come, when vain and aspiring men shall possess the highest seats in Government, our country will stand in need of its experienced patriots to prevent its ruin."
Samuel Adams

I was there

As the only remaining delegate from my county, I was made county chair to tally my own vote in the parking lot convention and I can tell you this is for a fact. There are 2 oklahoma delegate slates now , the establishments with contain one Ron Paul delegate out of the 25 and the conservative slate voted through in the parking lot convention that contained 25 delegates that I believe represented Ron Paul 100%. I am sure that it will be very difficult to get the corrupt gop here even with video evidence to accept the second slate but that is what will be attempted in the days and weeks to follow. We already had 9 delegates before this convention started chosen at district conventions so 25 more would be huge. There was obvious cheating and corruption at every turn of this convention from almost 100 delegates being added after registration despite a deadline cutoff to the chair ignoring roberts rules completely anytime it was to the benefit of the opposing party. There is so much more i wont take the time to add here but it almost has to be done over to be legitimate in my opinion.

Thank you very much, mydevilman.

Appreciate your information!

I read it as OK is uncertain

I read it as OK is uncertain b/c inside the convention there is one set of delegates, and outside the convention (due to improper adjournment), there is another set of delegates. Since there are two, it's hard to call right now. Visited Oklahoma City a few times in the last year, and am surprised at how entrenched the establishment is. There are a lot of positives with energy, jobs, housing, military, etc.

I think what he is saying is

I think what he is saying is the we will have to wait and see what happened in OK because no one knows. I will keep my fingers crossed for a win and thank you for all who gave there best efforts.

Could it be part of the strategy

Maybe we will win both when all said and done
After all they clearly broke the rules in OK
So just maybe let them think we r laying down
When in fact we r getting ready for the home stretch

This is the only thing I

This is the only thing I think explains all of this..... why are there no more RP events going?

Is the ad still playing in Texas?

With a comment indicating reports that the convention in the parking lot was legit and that the campaign will be following up.

Why wasn't he as informed as

Why wasn't he as informed as we are?
It seems to me that the campaign is leaving it all up to us, although those on the payroll make a few media appearances they are not even as involved as we are and that is a shame.

I believe he was AT the AZ

I believe he was AT the AZ convention and then he was likely traveling afterwards and didn't have the time to read up on everything before making his post. My head would be spinning if I attended one of those out of state so I'd cut him a little slack.

Here's my hunch . . .

I followed both conventions, AZ and OK. (admittedly my focus was mostly OK). I followed AZ tweets and news from the convention throughout the day. We were losing badly from all I saw. I suspect, that the campaign was offered a deal. They were allowed to win AZ in exchange for not embarrassing the GOP by forcing them to recognize the OK rump convention. I suspect that's what it came down to because I think its fair to say that no one expected anything like a win to come from AZ given all the reports from that convention.

Its just my hunch here, no proof, but I figure that's how it probably went down.

Blessings )o(

How could the campaign cut a deal with all the evidence on file?

The OK supporters would not like this. I think we won both with the majority of delegates at both conventions. They are just letting the dust settle before they break the obvious news from OK.

I agree, something is very

I agree, something is very wrong with the campaign. I just hope the grass roots hard work just wasn't in vain. Don't get me wrong, I love Ron Paul, but the campaign is not running for a win...

WTF are you talking about

WTF are you talking about bro!? We just won Arizona, making Ron Paul eligible to be nominated in Tampa. Wipe off the fog from your glasses!

Never be afraid to ask simple questions.

Nobody won anything in AZ yet

Nobody won anything in AZ yet until we get official results..

If you disagree with me on anything you are not a real libertarian...

where does he say we won

where does he say we won Arizona?

"If the VICTORY in Arizona

"If the VICTORY in Arizona proves true, and remember, there is a tantalizing and suspicious delay, then Ron Paul will likely win the right to be nominated on the floor of the Republican National Convention in Tampa."

Never be afraid to ask simple questions.

If...If...If.....suspicious delay...

That does not sound to me like a statement of victory.

He just corrected his wording

He changed, "But it was too late." to "But was it too late? Challenges will surely follow".

Ron Paul - Honorary Founding Father

I am pretty lost right now.

With what we are hearing from Doug Wead, Jesse Benton, Rand Paul, et al I am pretty concerned about the campaign. I keep remembering the feeling when Ron Paul threw in the towel last time around. I have this terrible feeling of dread it may happen again. I hope this feeling is very wrong.

Formerly rprevolutionist

Ron Paul is in it all the way to the convention. This time he said so.

This campaign is night and day to 2008--that was obvious from the moment he announced. His whole attitude and body language showed he was in it to win.

This time, Ron Paul has taken on the obligation to be the front man for the movement and all the delegates who are already in the pipeline all the way, win or lose, to the finish line. There is no doubt about that. And no doubt that he wouldn't have said so, unless he meant to stick to his word.

This is about the delegate process which is working great!

I see zero chance that Ron Paul isn't going to the convention assuming we get him the votes needed.

You know him. He's a realist. But he's not a liar.

What do you think? http://consequeries.com/

Don't get lost in the sauce,

Don't get lost in the sauce, Ron Paul just won a giant meatball in Arizona.

Never be afraid to ask simple questions.

No one from the campaign has said anything negative

Some of us are just losing our minds. Go back and listen to the Rand comment on Cavuto, there was nothing there. Benton didn't say anything negative and Wead reported what happened. The problem is ppl on here jumping the gun with their own false reporting of events and interviews and everyone else refusing to investigate for themselves.

Is that

Is that site legitimate? Could it have been hijacked? Can someone verify the link and do a trace? Could he and others have been threatened?

This does not sound like Wead.

"What if the American people learn the truth" - Ron Paul

You are nuts

There better be a legal challange

to the criminal manipulations that occurred last night.

HE WROTE; "Paul delegates who

"Paul delegates who had give up weeks and months of their lives to get elected as delegates at the precinct and county levels were scandalized. Taking a chapter from Missouri, they tried to convene outside the venue in the parking lot, claiming a plurality and calling to do things in order. But was it too late? Challenges will surely follow".

HE (DOUG WEAD) simply worries that it won't be counted and the cheating crooks, won.
