"RP Out" is Genius Delegate Strategy

Obviously not enough showed up to stop the Liberty Express there and even fewer will show up now since the MSM talking point is that RP is out which means there's no longer a threat so no need for the GOP regulars to even show up for their state conventions.
Meanwhile, the effort that went into phonebanking, campaign stops, etc. will now be solely concentrated into packing state conventions with delegates.
Romney has 100 state convention attendees? We'll have 1000 and completely take over the State GOP going forward.
This is using the MSM blackout to our advantage!

For all the doubters out there, consider the costs of state conventions.
First you have the $30-60 to attend as a state delegate, then you have the cost of commute (which often requires taking a day off), and finally you have to factor in food and lodging.
Without RP as a perceived threat, how many GOP "Q-tips" are going to pony up the $300-500 to attend?
I'm now really excited to attend our own state convention!

Ron Paul has been training and working to build the delegate movement for quite literally 4 years...or more.
He did not explicitly say he's finished.
He did not tell the delegates to not bother going to Tampa.
He did not shut down his donation link on the campaign website.

Primaries are the battlegrounds we need to fight the Romneyites to win converts.Voters don't convert unless there is pressure applied - like in the primaries. We are poised to win our first primary and the campaign wants to save money? We must raise money and spend it now while the work of the past month is still pushing us forward. Why Can't this be Front Paged - We Need to Give People Hope!
There are too many people being misled by the campaign's email on the front page. Why can't this be posted on the front page, at least to give people some hope that this could have been done intentionally as part of a strategy. We don't want people giving up. In a time like this, they need something positive to grab onto.

Already, Obamney is spending the $$$ to attack romney and all his misgivings will be hugely public at the expense of the other guys.
Ron can take a break and as he wished in the first place, we the people take the reins and bring the herd home.
The dog and pony show states are already fixed and makes no sense to spend the money on anything but the necessities.

Stae Convention in Texas is June7,8th and 9th in Fort Worth. County conventions i believe may be over now. At least my county is.

Maybe this is a brilliant maneuver or maybe it's the beginning of the end. For me, jury is out. That said, I think people should all be VERY careful about how much blind faith you're willing to put in a single man/campaign. There is quite a bit of rhetoric on these message boards that make me wonder if the people posting would ever allow RP or his campaign the room to make mistakes. Not everything has to be a brilliant move. Sometimes people get things wrong and people screw things up... just saying... sheepishness is the problem with the country and the lack of it had made this movement great. Allow skeptics to question.

I don't understand why Romney keeps running? He obviously doesn't have a chance. No decent Ron Paul supporter will even vote for him. His best bet would be to run as a Democrat and perhaps become Obama's running mate.

When the campaign starts promoting the money bomb, it will be clear to people that this thing is not over. The confusion may last only until the campaign makes this clear. After all, why would they promote a money bomb if he dropped out? Because it's not over!

that is what cynical people will say. I say what's the fuss? He didn't say anything we didn't already know. He hasn't given up. He has enough faithful followers (out of the 2% of the population who vote in the primary) to carry him through the confusion. Getting through to the masses just isn't happening (at this time).

If you think about all the bad press over the last few weeks about "hostile takeovers" and "unfair" tactics by Paulites at conventions, putting out an announcement that you know the MSM will (mis)take as a concession makes sense: it helps turn down the heat, weaken the resolve of our opponents at conventions, etc.
But there is a cost, to our own morale: at least for those who fall for the MSM line and mistake this for a concession. However, though this may sound cold, think about it: if they aren't planning to compete in upcoming primary States, what do they need the mass of Paulites for anyway? Those who are working to become delegates and officials can figure out the reality, and if some voters don't figure it out and become depressed over this - so what? As for money, well it was drying up anyway, and if they aren't going to compete in major upcoming primaries, what do they need money for anyway? If this announcement lets us have greater successes at upcoming conventions, at the cost of a few votes in upcoming primaries that we won't win anything from anyway, then so be it I say.
