Urgent Notice For Delegates Alternates And Future/Current Precinct Committeemen!

DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WE DID HERE IN AZ!

Because of the outspoken nature of our supporters (delegates, alternates, and guests) we have lost ground and some of our GOP support.

DO NOT HECKLE, BOO, CHANT, OR OTHERWISE YELL OR DISRUPT THE CONVENTION OR CAUCUSES OF YOUR STATES, COUNTIES, OR DISTRICTS!

It turns people away that would have otherwise voted or supported RP people. It also degrades our message and credibility. We are already fighting an uphill battle and don't need to be making the hill any steeper for ourselves.

ENCOURAGE ALL OF YOUR DELEGATES, ALTERNATES, and GUESTS to remain respectful and if you can, appoint a team to make motions (at least one in each district). That way you don't have the confusion of 100 people yelling at once. Also try to get a parliamentarian and TRAIN YOUR PEOPLE. We sort of went in blind, but ABOVE ALL BE RESPECTFUL AND SILENT. You won't alienate anyone, you won't give the establishment any ammo, and it will be easier to organize and hear floor motions.

GET YOUR PEOPLE TO BECOME Precinct Committeemen!

What state

are you in?

We are strong because we outthink the

opposition to implement our principles. they have none. We must have the discipline needed to match our vision of peace, liberty, respect for all nonaggressive people.

disorder is a perfect excuse to halt a caucus

the above is excellent advice. the disorder becomes a perfect excuse for the establishment to quickly and effectively subvert the results of a caucus.

yes, we are beyond passionate, but in order to be effective, we need to focus that energy! we cannot win every battle, but not every battle needs to be won. the establishment republicans know that they can pull a few token unfair moves and stir up the ron paul folks, giving them a perfect opportunity for a coup without debate.

RP folks need to instead divide responsibilities up and find creative ways to speed communication.

if you present your enemy with moves they don't expect (or even the opposite of what they expect) you can quickly confuse them into making bad decisions.

An effective strategy is never composed of the same moves over and over, no matter how effective they are. Especially in the political arena, an effective strategy must at least be partially composed of moves that conceal your intent.

Also, games are never one sided: there are always at least two players. You have to count on your opponent's reactions. It's far better to bait your opponent into destroying himself and then your hands are clean. Of course, that's easy enough to say, hard to do and much harder to do without stooping to our opponent's level.

I'm not sure 'Ron Paul people'

were stirred up. I think they took hits and stayed calm despite that.

I would say the only example

I would say the only example of when its ok to be disruptive is in cases like the SCC 1st caucus where its a railroad job and the corruption is in the open.

@WeMckay

Arizona was a hatchet job

Arizona was a hatchet job from the beginning, but I guess we're supposed to play nice while we are getting screwed???

Rowdy

If you haven't noticed, they have adjourned many caucuses without anyone getting rowdy. YouTube it

Def don't think that is the answer, but I even Ron Paul is ok with civil disobedience.

Point

You've got a point. They HAVE illegally adjourned caucuses despite an orderly crowd. They've also ignored many motions, claiming to be unable to hear said motion--despite it being repeated by dozens of people on the floor.

Now then, this isn't civil disobedience. Political parties are private entities; it's not a federal election. That said, there are some levels of lawful protections but I'm not familiar with any at the federal level.

Reserve your civil disobedience for government & its agents.

Be the better man/woman..

While they rob you of your rights.
While they conspire to attack you.
While they stuff ballot boxes.
While they lie to the American people.
While they lock you up, at least you'll know when they take your freedom away.. You'll be the better man.

Only one thing matters to me.. My Liberty. That IS my PRINCIPLE that I stand on. Get in the way of that and you don't get to see my better man.

Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution, inevitable.

The FIRST 3 things everyone should do for their CONVENTION

1)There may still be time to become a delegate. All it takes is one quick phone call to your local county/village office or local Republican Party office and ask if there are still any VACANCIES for delegate or alternate delegate spots. Don't stop calling until you find out for sure.

2) When you get there, know who your Parliamentarian is. To request a professional Parliamentarian to attend your convention with you, either call (888) 627-2929, email hq@nap2.org, or fill out the following form: (http://parliamentarians.org/instantprp.php) I would suggest calling!

3) Make electing a pro-Paul or at least fair chairman a (perhaps 1st) priority!!!

Please everyone find a way to contribute to doing at least one of these things. Either directly or indirectly. You can always call your local republican county office just to check if there are any delegate vacancies or scout out local Parliamentarians yourself using the info above. Maybe your contribution could be just emailing your local grassroots group and letting them know about these 3 points. Use your imagination.

Then people wonder why we are the way we are. This Romney supporter on film grabbed a Ron Paul supporter. On video proof.

Yes, and Brian handled it

Yes, and Brian handled it very well as I understand it. He didn't lose his temper or use foul language of any kind.

I didn't see a single Paulite

I didn't see a single Paulite lose their temper or use foul language at the convention, but more than a few Romnulans did.

Then you weren't sitting

Then you weren't sitting where I was on the floor. Not to mention the people Ed had to try and calm down in the stadium seating.

I did

I did.

What is someone to do when

What is someone to do when another person is running them over and not listening? You can only talk to some one so much before you lose your cool.

Be the better man. Just as

Be the better man. Just as Ron Paul does.

You mean keep quiet and let them run you over.

Ain't fucking happening bud. I'm speaking out.. I'm speaking up and I'll kick piss spit for my Liberty if I have to. If they refuse to listen to reason and act in a unreasonable manner, I'll fight fire with fire.. I'm not here to win a popularity contest and beg for the admiration of the very assholes that have walked over my rights..

We are the better men and women by default of our platform.. I say take no prisoners.

I am with you brother I am not going to a beauty cotest. There are two people in the room a group that wants freedom from false debt slavery and a group that promots and suports their false debt slave masters. The slave of a slave is the most vile human.

30 years

For 30 years people have been walking all over the ideas of Ron Paul. Maybe he'll turn the other cheek, but I sure intend to fight back.

We are Republicans!

WE The People are not going to take down the incumbent President Obama DIVIDED! when you registered Republican you didn't just join a group, you joined a Party where law stands over the people! Exactly how the founders Imagined Liberty and Capitalism would be defended and protected from Tyranny!!

Respect your fellow Republicans. they will stand behind Ron Paul after he becomes The Republican Nominee because they are stupid.

His name is Edward Snowden

What is Capitalism?

You might wanna tell this to the other side!

Oh they want us united too, right behind Romney!

Disagreement

Republican ideology traditionally coerces people abroad (ex. foreign military occupations) while Democratic ideology would do so domestically (mandated insurance etc).

I therefore swear no oath to such group mentality and have registered Republican simply to help a principled statesman named Dr. Paul win. After that hopefully happens, I will only support a volitional model of governance (Libertarian today espousing the closest) with an ethic based on the rights of the individual

Awesome

That is a concise, effective, inspiring statement. Thanks for posting. :-D

Not all of us are Republicans

Not all of us are Republicans and we don't necessarily have the Respect for the party who have spent Trillions of dollars on on Military empire, yet when government wants to spend on Healthcare reform some how that's bad.

If we would have spent the Trillions of dollars on Healthcare we spent on Foreign policy we'd be much better off. Instead we have good health care that insurance companies will do everything in their power not to give you.
