Its the Economy Stupid!

what truly brings about change is economic conditions. Only when people go to the store and find the shelves empty or when they lose their jobs and have no way to keep their families under a roof do they really begin to care about politics.

The American Revolution:

After Franklin had explained to the British Government the real cause of prosperity (Colonial Scrip), they immediately passed laws, forbidding the payment of taxes in that money. This produced such great inconvenience and misery to the people, that it was the principal cause of the Revolution. A far greater reason for a general uprising, than the Tea and Stamp Act, was the taking away of the paper money.

The French Revolution:

National debt from endless wars, high bread prices, high unemployment and high taxes made the revolution possible.

Rise of Nazism:

"Why would all these people join a party directed at killing Jews throughout Germany and Europe, you ask? Well, one must remember the circumstances that most Germans faced daily during this era. Most of the citizens of Germany during this time period were poor, jobless, and poverty stricken. Hunger set in. Not only were the German people hungry for more food, they were also hungry for a distinct change within Germany in hopes that the change would be a positive spin to a downtrodden German nation. History has shown that, when rough times hit, changes are made. People are willing to make more radical decisions during rough times of their lives as they have nothing to lose. Meanwhile, they could essentially move up the economic ladder with a new and improved governmental society."

Bolshevik Revolution:

everyone knows that the communisits are almost purely economic and class related in their approach to political ideology. waging WWI and the inflationary policies to afford it, along with the scraping by women had to do with so many men at war were indispensable to the revolution.

We who are for Ron Paul understand the dire issues of our economy and the inevitability of a crash if the course doesn't change. I wish we could avoid a crash, but the reality is, the average American is too stupid to look ahead or care. What they need to wake them up is a big economic slap in the face. When the economy goes down (not if, when) we need to be there to tell the truth to Americans who will now care. I hope the crash happens sooner than later, so we can elect the only person who has been talking about the economic problems the whole time (RON PAUL!!!!)
