This is NOT about Ron Paul winning - It is About a Message!
If anyone thinks that America is just going to wake up in less than a year and embrace everything opposite of what they have been brainwashed to believe you need to wake up yourself.
The reason why we are even getting the support we are getting is because America IS slowly waking up, thanks to the Internet, however, the Internet is fairly new and it will take a lot longer to educate people with the media propagating the hidden agenda of constant war and nanny states.
I have no delusion about Ron Paul winning, but I am not supporting him to win. Obviously I want him to win and winning will help, but to me this is about waking people up, and that isn’t going to happen in short time.
What did you guys think? People would just drop their dependence on Government overnight?
If people are in this to see Ron Paul win, they will drop quickly as his numbers don't add up. BUT if people are in for the message, it doesn't matter if Ron Paul wins, because we are here to spread a message.
Give yourself some credit. Tens of thousands have joined the movement over the last year. More will come, but not if we give up now after JUST THREE STATES!. COME ON!.. There are 47 more States. We have about 40K Paul supporters in 3 small States alone. That could mean a million people are supporting Ron Paul. That is H U G E !
STOP setting up these unrealistic hopes that Ron Paul is going to "sweep" the country. This is part of the problem, because when it doesn't happen people get depressed and angry, call fraud, and leave. I'm tired of hearing that Ron Paul will sweep the state and then see the numbers not add up. It affects our mental state. We need to start lowering expectations so we can be surprised, happily.
We want change, but there are still a number of people here that can't even get along, can't even agree on things, can't even tolerate others opinion. Is that what we are fighting for?
We will get another 6 months of minor media coverage if Ron Paul stays in AND we continue to support him. That is worth another 20K people joining and learning about the message. If we stop now, he will be out of the media and no longer our voice for change.
Get yourself up and continue this fight. The first revolution took 30 years. It has taken 100 years to destroy America; it won't take one year to restore it.
Ron Paul has been at this for 30 years with little or no support. We have been backing him for less than a year. Are we going to stop now? Absolutely not!

the Libertarians have been around 35 years they still are a tiny minority party....too many people in this country have forgotten what freedom is about...you not only need education for the masses...you need the political leverage that that 8-10% of the GOP base has...that means we ought to consider holding the Establishment GOP's feet to the fire in both Presidential and Congressional elections...The Democrats have minority groups that are very organized and vocal and they don't dare offend them...the GOP (right now)could care less how limited government,pro-Constitution,pro-freedom Republicans feel...I would suggest organizing "Liberty Republican" groups in every precinct in America...and using them to actively work against Neo-Con GOPers without endorsing the Democrats....THEN,we would have TREMENDOUS leverage to bend them to our will...We already have a WONDERFUL ability to raise money....if the GOP kept losing(thanks to us)...then,they would have to listen....

Our founding fathers
I wonder If our founding fathers had the same wide range ideas when it came to the Revolution. I can imagine people from all 13 colonies having different ways to deal with the forces that held them down from the king. People who thought we were destined to be second class citizens to the British. People taking the negative roll in saying how it doesn't matter, feeling that whatever they did never gave them the freedoms they so desired of this new nation.
Look what happened. We became a free Republic. Why do you ask? Because with all the negative spins on why it wouldn't work they never gave up. They knew in there hearts they wanted to be there own nation and be sovereign to no one but themselves.
Did this happen overnight? No it took time and people willing to stand up to the "establishment" starting out not by trying to give a knock out blow but one person to believe and that person bringing someone else to believe and it grew exponentially until England was left wondering What Happened.
We are 1 Caucus and 1 primary into this election. A LONG WAY TO GO.
and if it should not be our year we know we have left a mark on history. A mark in time where the American people stood up and gave notice we are as mad as hell and we are not taking it anymore! Those who own mass media who are beginning to feel the pressure of the reality that they are losing control and they are panicking.
But if we win we send this message boldly to Corporate big wigs and those who believe they have control to do as they will to the American people that the Constitution of the United States is as powerful as any so called power they think they wield now. The so called New World Order will have to find other pawns because we quit being slaves to them and they need to find somewhere else to play there games with humanity.
Remember this Year 2008 and remember all here played important roles in listening, speaking in fact sharing the real meaning of a Republic and how with the same words written over 200 years ago still ring true when it comes to personal freedoms and true LIBERTY.

We need a new strategy
I agree with what you say, and I think it is time to change to a new, more realistic realistic strategy. clearly continuing on doing what were doing is foolish, and will hurt the message we want to get out.
1. We need better media coming from Campaign HQ, clearly what they have been doing isn't very effective.
2. Time to end unrealistic expectations, and pie in the sky goals, and look at real solutions. What can we do that will effect peoples lives tomorrow, not once everything is in place to end the IRS
3. Get rid of the nuts that have attached themselves to the campaign - The truthers, conspiracy theorist, White nationalists, and others, THESE PEOPLE HURT OUR MESSAGE.
4. Avoid conspiracy like talk, things regarding the CFR, etc. We clearly lost that argument because of how we frame that, Refer to individuals, and their bad policies. perhaps better to talk in terms of self determination.
4. Stop the annoying campaign tactics, As you see in NH, shouting and hanging signs doesn't convince anyone of anything.
Sadly, I think we should be looking for a candidate that can run as a libertarian or Independent - someone Dr. Paul could endorse. Dr. Paul has said he will not run as an independent, and even if he squeezes through that wiggle room, he has been damaged badly by the recent press attacks. Many journalists that would have given him a little attention won;t give him any. No undecided voters will ever consider him.

I'm going to turn 40 this year (ouch)
but I remember back when I went to college (no govt. loans) and one day decided I was a socialist. I was so proud. You see, I cared about people. I was a good girl and learned to share and care in public schools. I did not have the "tools" to know any different or any better. The college professors and campus clubs only encouraged my socialist leanings. Heck, I majored in business but I minored in Labor Studies -- because I cared about the American worker.
Government school led me to socialism. Most students aren't that astute to actually declare themselves socialist. They are Democrats and they're for "change".
I don't know why I picked up "Atlas Shrugged" but I thank the universe that I did.
Americans are asleep and it is our job to wake them up, One person at a time -- because we "care".
