In need of some guidance

I have been a long time supporter of Dr. Paul and his message of freedom for our country, but I have yet to be an active supporter. This election cycle I have been involved in a local county race, which is how I ended up at my district convention. From what I saw going on there, I knew I had to instantly become involved to make sure that our views are represented. Seeing what actually can go on at Republican conventions has inspired me to become an active participant and not just an observer. My fellow precinct delegates appreciated my youth and willingness to participate and encouraged and supported me to be a state delegate, for which I was selected!

Ok, so since then I have been trying to figure out what the heck it is I'm am supposed to do as a state delegate who supports Paul. I want to get connected to the community and do what I can to support our cause. I've been trying to talk to some people I know and do some research about this online, but so far I have just hit dead ends. What am I doing wrong? Can someone please point me in the right direction as to where I can get connected to make sure I am the most effective delegate I can be in Fort Worth? Going to the convention is expensive and I am sacrificing a lot to be there, and I do not want my time and effort to go to waste. I know there is organization somewhere, I'm just having trouble getting plugged in and I would appreciate any and all comments, links, tips, or other support y'all may have.
