Canvassing all 301,139,947 Americans, 150,000,000 Households
Hi everybody.
My idea is to systematically canvass the entire United States. I hastily put together this pseudo website to give you a better idea:

"The goal of this website is to help us spread Ron Paul's message of individual liberty and the Constitution to all 301,139,947 U.S. citizens before November 4, 2008. Suppose there are 500,000 Ron Paul supporters. Then each of us only has to canvass 300 households to cover everyone in the U.S.
The trick is, we must accomplish this in a systematic way. That is what this website is for. Hopefully, I will soon hear from 50 volunteers who want to coordinate the state effort, and soon 3,077 county leaders. As you might notice, this site was recently hashed together. Organize a ring4ron campaign; it's much easier, and much faster. Raise some $$$ and you have the ear of every American.

The campaign has the program to do this along with the PROPER training. Quit fighting the campaign and join it instead. They are looking for tens of thousands of precinct captains to organize their precincts and canvas as well as survey to identify supporters and what to do once you identify them. This is the way campaigns are won. We will get no farther at all without joining the campaign, and they have openings.
Work with them instead of against them. It is already organized to do this, they just need the workers.

I signed up as a precinct captain. I then had all the names of registered voters that live in my precinct making it much easier to focus on people who will actually be doing the voting. I encourage everyone to sign up and use the tools that the campaign has put together for us. It is time for real OLD-FASHIONED door to door campaigning, precinct by precinct.
Not everybody will take the
Not everybody will take the responsibility to become a precinct captain. But nearly anybody can help canvass. So, I think both efforts will be beneficial.
Not to mention I had never heard of this effort, depite being actively involved in the Ron Paul campaign.
You can canvas your way or
You can canvas your way or do it the campaigns way. Your choice. If you never heard of it then how can you be involved in the Ron Paul Campaign? Follow the link and join the campaign. It is no good to canvas on your own when you have no common surveys, questions, or even know what you're supposed to do with the information you get or what information to get.
You all want to work outside the campaign and draw workers from them instead of directing workers to them. Oh well. Until the grassroots effort joins forces with the campaign instead of fighting them we will remain low in the votes no matter how much attention we draw.
